(Super friendly and inviting) The atmosphere was amazing. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a "hello" and "can I help you with something" as soon as I said "yes, please" It felt as though I was given a personal stylist. I tried on about 10 dresses and I usually hate the way 50% of things look on my body type. I LOVED every single thing I tried on. (Which is crazy to me because I just had a baby a few months ago and haven't been feeling super confident) The clothes are great quality and yes you're going to pay a little more than your run-of-the-mill fashion stores, but you get what you pay for. You're also helping a SMALL FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS! The material is amazing, true to size and fits perfectly. Overall amazing. I never ever rate any business but I had to this once. It's never crowded and parking is much more reasonable than other places. The store is very bright. They have so many things to try and they sell individual sheet-masks so that you can sample it at home before committing to purchasing the full pack. Everything is reasonably priced and you don't have to wait for shipping! They have a small table for clearance items by the front door and carry some Asian snacks towards the back. I've bought so many Korean/Japanese brand make-up/skincare products from here like PeriPeri, Shiseido, Hera, Kahi, Innisfree, Naturie, Clio, SK-II, Cle de Peau, and more but too many to list. ***If you've never had luxury soften cotton pads, I suggest you to purchase one from here!! Don't sand your skin with cotton pads you buy from your local market or retailer store*** Also, they have a loyalty points reward system so make sure to sign-up! I've shopped here a few times and today I was lucky enough to run into the owner while shopping. She is super personable and went above and beyond, offering water and styling a look with me. I bought a super cute jumpsuit and a bralette. I've also gotten super comfortable pants and a cute crop top in the past. I look forward to continuing to shop here, supporting a female run business!

Fell in love with this store at first sight! I absolutely love everything she stocks. She clearly handpicks the products and has a wealth of knowledge about each product and their benefits, their hero ingredients, and I believe she's tried many of them herself as well. Bono Spera has become my go-to store for about 90% of al my skincare and cosmetic needs. I also purchased my favorite reversible swimsuit from her! Got so many compliments on it when I went to Hawaii, and the reversible feature made it a steal for the price. If you shop in the area, you may be aware that another, larger retailer of Korean and Asian cosmetics opened up at South Coast plaza. That's nice and all but I urge you to shop here at Bono Spera and all the of the great shops within OC mix. I love to frequent and support local boutiques, I feel a bit more connected to the community that way and feel better about where my money is going. Aside from all those reasons, I absolutely love Sonia and her store. Her store is really a hidden gem and as much as I'd love to keep the beauty secrets all to myself, more people should know about the store and all it has to offer. I noticed this at another Korean fashion store I've been to too (where the owner will come to the spot you were just at to tidy anything you touched or slightly displaced).
