They're always so friendly, welcoming, and willing to help me find exactly what I'm looking for. They never make me feel rushed and always go the extra mile to help. Their kindness and excellent customer service are a big reason I keep coming back. The store is organized, the selection is great, and the staff truly make the shopping experience enjoyable. Thank you, Ava, Jen, and Amber, for always being so helpful and making every visit a positive one. You all deserve the recognition!

Extremely Unprofessional…read more I walked into Uptown Cheapskate and within one minute of entering, some random lady suddenly yelled across the store: "Everyone get out, we fucking close in 5 minutes." At first we assumed she was an employee because of how aggressively she said it. When we realized she wasn't, we called her out on it. Her response? "Yeah, I'm kind of crazy." What made the situation worse was that the actual employees said nothing about her behavior. No one corrected her, asked her to stop, or even acknowledged how inappropriate it was. On top of that, no staff member informed us when we walked in that the store was closing in 5 minutes even though it was over a hour before the website said they closed, which would have avoided the entire situation. Overall it felt chaotic, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Customers shouldn't be yelled at by random people in the store while staff just stand there and do nothing. Definitely not a great first impression.

There have been a lot of changes to this mall over the years. The things that have stayed the same…read moreare the LEGO store, Macy's (knock on wood), Bath and Body Works, Sephora, and Paradise Bakery & Cafe. The mall typically isn't busy. To me, it looks like the food court and restaurants are what attract the most people. Paradise Bakery & Cafe consistently has the longest line at the food court. I am not surprised because there is something special about it. I love their mini cinnamon roll and my husband is a fan of their peanut butter cookie. In terms of value, The Shops at Mission Viejo has stores at different price points. You can splash out at Nordstrom or economize at Uniqlo. A more accurate description would be "the-mall-that-accepts-anyone-as-a-tenant." I'm pretty sure the beauty supply store is a front for a money laundering operation (they are never, ever open), most of the other stores don't stay open until 8pm (and I'm not talking about just the watch/jewelry stores), and there are just a handful of random, funky places in here. All that aside - I don't really come here to "shop" - but it's a great place to mall walk. It's here that I learned mall walking was a real thing. Weekday mornings, you'll see a fair amount of retirees walking the mall, many before it opens. Not going to lie: my husband and I have turned into evening mall walkers. So, thanks, Mission Viejo for giving us a place to walk.. but not necessarily shop. I really think the leasing department needs to look at what would do well with the community, not just be desperate and sign anyone. Look at how other centers are thriving. 2026: 52/100

I wanted to give a huge thank…read moreyou and recognition to Caroline, that was working the changing room area, she went about and beyond to help me narrow down my selection , to pick the perfect interview outfit for me. Not only did a walk into my interview feeling confident in my outfit, but the value is unmatched. Some honorable mentions are Eva, for running to check if she could find a shirt I liked in a differing size, while unsuccessful, she brought something back I ended up liking more and wearing today to my interview. Dress pants, nice interview shirt, and dress shoes for$60, what a steal, best value around. The cashier at the front was also amazing, she had a smile on her face, and brightened my evening telling me about the full double rainbow that was outside the store earlier. All the employees interacted with were working hard, and were extremely pleasant. While I was being rung up, a line of 2-3 were gathering. There were two more employees behind the register (one my have been training) I did notice they didn't seem in a hurry to clear the line, almost waiting for the cashier Elisa to do all the transactions. The employee behind the counter did eventually turn around and pull somebody from the line. Love the value, love the quality, and appreciated the friendly staff :))

Came in January 28th and an older lady with grey hair was working along with others. I was next in line and she looks right at me knowing when she finished with the current customer at her register that I was going to be next. She purposely made up something so I would not be waited on by her. If you are prejudice learn how to cope or don't work in retail. I'm black and she was white. It was too obvious and she knows it. Really feel sorry for her.

I've been there quite a few times but hadn't had a chance to come to Inspired. When I went they had a sale where all clothing was $5. The sales clerk was very helpful with pointing out the price of other items in the store as well - scarves, jewelry, bags - as everything was on special discount. I love the way they curate their selections. I found a couple of shirts in the men's section that I liked. Everything here is new or like new. And they often carry designer clothing. I had a great experience shopping in this store and I'll be back in the future!

That's where I was headed when I found this place last week. We went in, and its very nicely decorated and has a lot of fun stuff. Tried on a few things, and ended up buying three items, and spent about $50. The employees were very nice and helpful. The problem I have, is after going to the thrift store, and not finding anything, and walking around a couple times just looking at items... we left. We walked back to the car, and what I can figure is the owner as all questions go to him, break schedules are told by him, etc. he walked out behind us and followed us giving us the side eye in my car. I have spent money at both locations, but my friend and I looked at each other after this like wait, really? It was extremely odd and uncomfortable and honestly offensive. I will take my actual business elsewhere as it seems we gave you reason to feel we were suspicious. Which, I am really trying to figure out why.
