Paint has been flaking off on all three components since November of 2023 so contacted A-1 back in March and now it has been two months since they said they would repaint because the technician that did the original job is no longer with the company. Your three-year warranty is no good if the paint constantly flakes off and you don't honor it. You need to contact me immediately with a firm date of when you will repaint and I'm tired of your excuses that your technicians live far away.

Well, after I authorized him to repair the transmission....he said that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When I asked him about the 6 mos warranty stamp, he said "no worries they made a mistake....I will honor 1 year." I paid him $3,200 for the job. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! When I got the car back he told me that he would not give me a new warranty! The car ran for another few months....then transmission went out again! Smh SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Oh, and he must know someone over here at YELP, because he had my 2 prior reviews taken down! Smh

I choose Allstar based upon the recommendation of my car repair place that they are professional and do quality work. I am very glad I did. Program Manager Gerry Macias was great to work with. Getting an estimate was smooth, as was the whole process. Allstar is a recommended shop for my insurance carrier, so that had some benefits. It probably sped up the process, for one. I was surprised to get a call from Gerry today that my SUV was ready--three business days Early! I have had plenty of times when days were added to the repair time, but never subtracted before. The work on my bumper and quarter panel looks great and all of the safety sensors seem to be functioning perfectly. I called the Riverside dealer for my car and their recommended body shop had a three week wait for just an estimate appointment. I did wait about a week for my parts to be pre-ordered, which goes along with my car rental coverage. However, this seemed very reasonable. I definitely recommend Allstar. read more

A 5 Day job turn in to two weeks, They called me to tell me my truck is ready for pick up with a visible crease still in the passenger side front door that they had painted over. Steve Gerhartz Tells me that the overall repair looks good and if I'm going to be showing this truck at shows(why does that matter) Your quality of work should be "show" ready regardless if I'm showing my vehicle or not! Quality of repairs are trash stay away from this collision repair company! Never again, will I take a vehicle to this repair facility! Yes, your right a appraiser did come out to your company. Once you had knowledge of them coming out my truck was cleaned up nice like it should have been the first time. With this being said, future customers be aware and I'm not the only one to have these same issues with this company. Proceed with caution. read more

Wow! This is the way all business should operate!! I was recently referred to CarStar by my insurance provider, for damage sustained from road debris to the hood and front bumper of my 2008 BMW 650l. Although it is a 10 year old vehicle, I have babied it over the years and rarely drive it (it has 45,000 total miles on it). Hard to say this, but I'm glad the damage happened! The work CarStar performed on it was absolutely excellent. The bumper was painted (poorly) a couple of years back by another body shop for some minor damage. Carstar made it look better than new! The staff was very friendly, and my contact person (Michael) kept me posted on each and every step of the process. Would I recommend them?? Well, here is some bad news, and some good news too, a few weeks ago the catalytic converter in our truck was stolen, fortunately we had insurance coverage, but it was dificult to find a replacement, you see we were the ones looking for the replacement not knowing our insurance will take care of it and cover it, and with just one call to Dean Seif for help at Carstar, within a matter of hours our truck was on its way to get fix and back to us within two working days all fixed up! After being backed into at the Happiest Place on Earth, State Farm listed Carstar as a repair option. A friend had her car fixed here recently, so I accepted the suggestion. I took my car in to get an estimate write-up on a Tuesday, and scheduled my car for drop-off the following Monday. I left my car Monday at 4:00 pm, and my car was repaired, washed, and ready to go by the end of day Tuesday! Michael was excellent and took it apart the night of drop-off and took about 24 hours to have it ready for me! Amazing! My front end looks amazing and brand new! I had an excellent experience with Carstar's customer service and their repair work - twice! Both times, the cars were repaired to look like new, with a bit of extra polish on the inside as well. Most recently, I made a mistake on my end of the deal which would have cost me one week without a car. Christopher Stenger gave up his own time, off the clock, to clean up my mistake and without compensation. As bad as I felt, he gave no indication that I was putting him out and even sent me on my way with a "don't worry about it" attitude. My headlights were a bit cloudy and after seeing their add in the Corona Magazine of Values, I called and spoke with Dracey who said, sure, bring it in and we will take care of it (?). My first question was how much would this cost and much to my surprise and absolute delight, she said they would do it for NO CHARGE! She was true to her word. This is the ONLY place I will take my cars. Over the years I have taken 4 cars here and have never been disappointed by anything. As a Tesla‑approved repair center, they were my first call -- and to my surprise, they were open on Saturday and able to see my car right away. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They inspected the damage (a tow‑hitch‑sized dent and scratches on the front bumper), reviewed the footage, and were just as shocked and frustrated on my behalf. This time, our install van needed bodywork -- it's our main vehicle for large furnace, air conditioning, and ductwork replacement projects. During the initial inspection, we were worried the van might be too tall to fit inside their shop. Without hesitation, they assured me they had a solution with a mobile paint booth to accommodate our large vehicle. That immediately put my mind at ease and showed how prepared they were to handle any situation. They initially estimated about two weeks for the full repair, which I completely understood, but it was tough since this van keeps our business running. Our representative, Cuu, went above and beyond from day one. He listened to my concerns, came up with ways to possibly speed things up, and kept me updated every step of the way. Even though there were no guarantees, he got the job done a full week ahead of schedule -- we had our van back in just five days!
