So thankful yelp introduced me to this place because it was amazing!! I can honestly say the Julie's smoothie was the best smoothie I've ever had. All their food is so fresh. It's the perfect lunch spot and they decorated it perfectly. The only cons: I personally think it's pretty pricy. $40 for a smoothie, a ciabatta and dessert seems a little crazy for me. Parking is the second con. Because it's located in plantation walk, there's many other restaurants around. I went around 6pm on a Friday and had to circle quite a few times to find a spot somewhat close. Thanks yelp for this gem! read more

I really enjoy coming here when I'm craving a healthy and delicious meal. This location is located in plantation walk and it's one of the newer locations. However, wherever I have been at a carrot express inside has been always very clean and very organized. There's plenty of meals to choose from from bowls to platters to wraps and sandwiches. There's also juices to pick from and healthy desserts. The staff is always really nice and you can see them around cleaning. I have taken my husband here and he also really enjoys coming and dining in. read more

Just moved to plantation and I have been coming regularly to get the blue dream smoothie. I was the only one inside and my smoothie took about 10 minutes. Didn't hear a blender making a smoothie. Food is as advertised but the staff are full of idiots. I ordered a fully plant based meal. I don't usually have to tear open a wrap to ensure the contents are correct but I should have because I took a huge bite of a chicken wrap. Told the staff what happened and asked for a new one. Not even so much as an apology and they had the nerve to be annoyed that they had to remake the order. So I just got a full refund instead and told them not to bother remaking. Came for the elite event & Carrot express gained two new customers! The menu itself has a variety of options on the lighter side like salads, açaí bowls, and 'healthy' burgers for food as well as tropical smoothies and cold press juices to drink and of course carrot cake & a vegan banana bread to finish. Invited my mom to come with me, we ordered the carrot juice, pesto passion ciabatta with tostones & vegan banana bread to share. Aside from the elite event order we also tried the guava coconut cookie which was super delicious. I'll start by saying everything tastes very fresh! From the juice to the banana bread, no ingredient goes unnoticed. The sandwich was delicious and the tostones...cooked to perfection! IMO they were the perfect size, not too thick and also not too greasy. Could definitely use a bit of garlic crema sauce to go along with it but they were honestly amazing on their own. The banana bread really stole the show though. To be vegan I was not expecting it to retain its moist nature but it did and the flavor on top of it was also impeccable. Pricier than your usual tropical smoothie or bolay run but cant put a price tag on that fresh taste. The plaza itself is very new so lots of construction going on still, in fact they were doing some next door so outside seating wasn't completed yet. Seems to be optimal amount of parking available too. Overall its a place you go where you want a genuinely healthy meal that'll actually fill you up. read more

As an Elite Yelper, I had the opportunity to check out Carrot Express at their new Plantation location at Plantation Walk. This is the first time eating from Carrot Express, so this was the perfect opportunity! I was impressed! The restaurant is very bright and clean. I loved the aesthetics. Let's talk about the staff. Sandra greeted me even though she was taking someone else's order. While I waited, I spoke to another patron and asked for her advice with the menu. Apparently she loves everything they have but she at least established that the brownies were the best thing there. Lol! Sandra then took my order and helped me with the menu items and took some of her suggestions. My order was made to go. As I waited I had a bowl of their carrot-sweet potato soup and YUM! It was delicious. If the soup was good, I knew that the rest of my meal was going to be delicious as well. I ordered a carrot-orange juice, which they make fresh. I also ordered a Mexican Salad with Salmon and of course, I also ordered the brownie. I took some goodies home for the boo thang. I got him a Julia Juice and an Açaí Bowl. Everything was delicious and can't wait to go again. I've downloaded their app because I know that I will be making more pick up orders from there! read more

Where to begin with this one. Let's start off by saying I want to like this place, I really do... Ok, don't order iced coffee, just don't. I told the manager if she is going to sell iced coffee they should make iced coffee, not pour burning hot coffee over an entire cup full of ice. Of course the ice melted and now I have coffee flavored water. Just save yourself the aggravation. Turkey bacon power wrap. Only substitution I asked for was no cheese. Well I guess they didn't want to give me avocado either. I Even asked the manager if it was supposed to come with avocado. I ordered in store, and took it out to sit on the benches and eat. So I literally walked back into the store to ask. Her reply was "yea, it does" end of conversation. Cool. So I just asked for a copy of my receipt being they didn't give me one to begin with and left. I also ordered the tostones, not bad, but could use some salt at least and maybe a quick roll on a sav-a-day to get the grease off. My bag ended up getting soaked with it. There were a lot of REALLY good looking things in this restaurant, so I hate to be this harsh on them, but 34 dollars for an iced coffee, breakfast wrap and tostones, and the best I got was ok tostones. Amazing!!! I've been waiting for a healthy restaurant like this to make its way to Plantation. I really enjoyed my food, the vibes, and my juice at Carrot Express. It's order at the counter style, and then they bring your food to the table. I will say, it's a bit pricey, but it makes sense because everything was very fresh tasting. I ordered the LIV wrap, which had chicken breast, avocado, quinoa, kale, jack cheese & basil pesto. Omg it was so incredible. It was also pretty big, I definitely could have saved half for later (but I didn't lol). I also ordered the Zeus green juice , which had celery, cucumber, apple, spinach, kale, and lemon. It was super refreshing, with a strong celery taste, but it wasn't overly pungent. I really enjoyed it! All together, I ended up spending $28, which, like I said was a bit pricier than I would have appreciated, but I did thoroughly enjoy my meal and the service was very speedy. My friend also really liked her chicken Caesar wrap, so all in all, it was a big hit. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items, everything looks so insane. read more

EPIC FAIL. I went to the Weston location all the time and it was always excellent so when it opened in plantation I was thrilled. BUT it has screwed up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME both in person and delivery. I kept giving it chances to redeem itself but it's just trash. Take todays order- what I got vs what's on the menu. $22. (I added chicken which didn't arrive) There's simply no excuse. This is disgusting, disappointing and robbery. I ordered an acai bowl and a couple of smoothies online. When I went to pick up the food , they were preparing the smoothies . The ladies there picked up a bag put in the two smoothies and opened a freezer grabbed an acai bowl and put it in there too . I was a little surprised that they just grabbed the bowl from the freezer and didn't make it fresh . I thought maybe they made it earlier ( store opens at 9 and I was there at 9:20 ) .When I got home , I live 5 minutes from there, I realized it was hard frozen not at all made at the moment. First offense was closing 15 min earlier than closing time that's said on their window, and almost didn't open the door for me to pick up my food. Second offense was just now, I went in 20 minutes over the time it said my order would be ready. I get there and my order was not ready. They flat out didn't make it because they had ran out of an ingredient. didn't bother to call me or send me an email or cancle the order so I would receive my money back. Nothing. I'm afraid I tried several times to love it, but this time really made me hesitant to try anymore. I've had both delivery and takeout. I have not yet eaten in the restaurant. 1) I found the online ordering to be a challenge. It asks to set up a profile but then won't let you. 2) You cannot edit your order until after you hit place order, the edit buttons don't work in the review cart page. The first time I ordered I literally had to start over several times because the delete or edit button did not work. 3) The reason this is so important is because the options are cut in half so you can't visibly see what you're clicking on when you're putting together your order. You can only see it in the summary in the cart. An example, if you're trying to order sweet potato, you can't tell if you're ordering sweet potato, or the sweet potato fries because the words are cut off. 4) That being said, the items that I have typically chosen were platters. They give you two options for sides. But then they charge you for the sides separately. And then still don't give you the items that supposedly come with it. On the plus side, the first time I ordered, the salmon was fabulous. The second time not so much And this final time, the salmon was flat out crunchy. Like over cooked excessively. I got three small trees of broccoli as my additional charged side. I think the biggest irritation for me is that I tried to call the restaurant at least five different times. There is absolutely no way to get a person's voice on the phone to ask questions or report feedback so you are 100% reliant on the website if you're doing a takeout or delivery order. Sadly disappointed. I was very excited to have somewhere nearby that I can place orders regularly. But, with the price points, there's just no room for this type of inconsistency. read more

I love carrot express and would normally go to the one in weston, I've been to this new location at least 4 times and it's disappointing to say that every single time I've been here, my order was always 15+ minutes late. They move so slowly here, line or no line. They look like they need more training, especially with multitasking. I order my food online for pickup and show up even later than the promised time it would be ready, and I still have to stand inside waiting for a good 15-30 minutes. Maybe that can improve in the future and would make this location a better place. read more
