I did need stamps however and for some reason I always like to buy them directly from the counter. I know post offices have machines I know that also you can get stamps at grocery stores and the big box warehouse stores but I always prefer the selection that you get by going directly to the post office. On this trip to the post office I was greeted very cordially by the counter people. When I told them that I would like to see the selection of stamps they promptly put several different sheets in front of me and also even went to the back to get some more of that they did not have up front. The gentleman was very patient while I decided how many sheets of which stamps that I wanted. Once I had made my selection he politely asked me if there was anything else that I needed and when I said no he thanked me for coming in. So many people are so critical are postal workers and post offices and I really think overall they do a great job considering the volume of business that they have.

No way shape or form is this acceptable on any level! Registered mail is to go to the address and get a signature! Couple this with their refusal to respond to ANY form of communication! No one has been able to get in touch with them about this! Judging by the overwhelming negative remarks here this PO needs a 100% overhaul! ALL FIRED starting with idiot post master! I'm sending numerous complaints up the chain over this one!

The line was longer than I expected midday, but the two individuals working kept it moving. Considering how underpaid and overworked postal workers and the staff are, they were extremely friendly, and helpful. As soon as I walked up, I didn't even have to ask what was the best way to mail what I was mailing, the lady at the desk pulled out the right envelope, and sent me on my way after my transaction was done.
