My pre-paid postage package was too large for the mail receptacle and there were no…read moresigns as to where I could drop my package, although there was a sign telling customers where packages could NOT be dropped. Consequently, I had to stand in line. Also, I chose to go to this facility because it's the main facility for Plano and I needed my package to depart the facility with the early collection parcels. I arrived at the Post Office in plenty of time to make the early collection time. My package, however, did not begin tracking until almost midnight, so it likely was not placed in their internal collection location until after the early collection time. Poor customer service.

They couldn't find my info for fingerprinting but he called them for me, schedule an appt so I can get my finger printing done. He had patience and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience. Later that night I had received a message from him, hitting on me and trying to state that I said he should "keep my number" and "we get together to hang out". I am in a serious relationship so my boyfriend and I have been absolutely livid about this ordeal, and are considering contacting authorities about the matter. So when I finally got to receive a stamp to mail off, she stared feeling the card up and said "what you put in card!" And I told her, "there's a letter with a gift card in it." She then goes on to say "no, no, it feel funny! Me have to run through machine, so I charge you extra!" I told her that she could run it through the machine but I didn't have time to argue with her about her trying to over charge me for sending a simple letter with a gift card in it. (Which I have done many times without a problem until I came to this place) but there was no way I was paying to have it scanned when I've done this multiple times. I just simply rejected her demands and bought a book of stamps, then put it on the card myself, and placed in the drop box outside. Would never recommend going to this place. Forgot to update this and hoping the Asian lady is reading this; I was right and the birthday card was mailed and received. Someone needs to re-train her.

This was the first post office I used there and my memory is of a highly efficient facility run by career professionals. Many things have changed since then but,we still depend on the USPO occasionally, regularly and Routinely. When you need it, you gotta have it. Today,I happened to need it and was close. So I choose here. Driving up,I made mental note of how the grounds were being well taken care of. This is no longer assured,as the USPO by my home let's the weeds and lawn grow shoulder high and it's only 2 years old! Inside I found the same. Well lit,clean and staffed facility, meeting the needs of the people.

We went to get our passports renewed, took time off work. Waited for over 40 minutes for our appointment only to be told that the photo machine is not working. They were aware that we had an appointment with photo service and were aware that we were waiting for this when we checked in. When we asked Paul (the lead!) why he didn't tell us to go get our pictures taken somewhere else while we waited, instead of apologizing or self-reflecting he threatened us with not being able to get our passports. This is egregious and unacceptable and why I will never get a passport renewed through USPS. I will find any 3rd party application location as they might understand that your job is not an entitlement. Your job is dependent on good customer service - even if you work for the government. What a disgrace!
