I was trying to track down a mis-shipped package that was sent to this office instead of my local office (my local office confirmed that it was sent to this one in error). So I called this office to see if they had the package and to hopefully come pick it up rather than wait for it to get re-routed. I've been to this post office twice and service has been awful. This second time around I politely asked if I could have a piece of tape to seal my mailer and was told they didn't have tape but I could buy it or "go home and tape." I ended up buying a mailer they sold to me only for the attendant to pull out a role of tape to attach my return slip to the mailer (they had tape the entire time). read more

Had to ship some large boxes. Had an appointment in the area. Googled this post office. It's a little hidden in the neighborhood, but once I found it, it was big. It wasn't crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. Plenty of parking, like 40+ spaces. Walked inside, and there were three people on separate registers helping the 3 customers there. Sad to say, I've never seen this before in recent memory. Fortunately timing was great. The person that helped me at the counter was pleasant and courteous. Air condition worked and it was well stocked with boxes/supplies and clean. This was a five star experience. Good job USPS! Hope it continues to have great service. read more

I find myself frequenting this postal location more than most. Usually it's stocked with supplies. Usually there are multiple people staffing the service desks. Usually it's not a 30 min wait. If you're able to spend 45 mins to an hour in line then this is what you can expect at this location. Tip : use the standing kiosk that allows you to mail and ship letters and packages. Easy to use, best option especially if you're in a rush. The staff at this location has been there for as long as I've been stopping by, 17+ years, they know the regulars which is great (personable) however they start to chat as if they were sitting down having a cup of coffee which in turn leads to a longer than normal wait time. Update time...long overdue it seems. Needed to send a package off. Easy drop in (around 2 pm on a Tuesday) and quickly through the line. Larry was very helpful when he noticed I grabbed the wrong envelope and let me correct that, then quickly get back with him after I did that (no line wait). And a couple seconds later, I was heading out. This is not unusual for the service I've received over the years here. All Covid-19 protocols are being enforced. read more

The fees for the PO box have gone up another 6 dollars from Sept 219 payment. The service continues to decline, packages are misdirected, or damages. The other issue is you may get a slip in the box telling you there is a package, so when you go to pick up no one can find it. Then the statement is you must have already picked it up ! I have had to track more packages with the online service to see where it was sent. I am so confused what they issue is ? Nothing in delivering mail has changed, I keep the PO box as I thought it was more secure. So where is all the money going, no significant money has been spent on this location. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE FRONT COUNTER!! The lady that did my transaction (Jessica) was very nice I have no issue with her. However, the large black guy working 2 stations down was extremely rude to me. I had about 30 prepaid packages that I needed scanned because I wanted a receipt. I am a very busy online retailer and I like to know that my packages have been accepted by USPS. The black guy yelled at me from his station and told me next time I need to go to the self service kiosk to drop my packages off and that I was holding up the line. I don't see why it is an issue for me to have my packages scanned at the front counter. He continued to argue with me about holding up the line in front of a customer that he was helping along with a few others that were standing in line. I have never experienced such horrible customer service at any other post office. This guy should not be out front assisting customers because he is very VERY rude. Please address the with the employee or forward this to the local branch manager of that post office. This is not my first time having an encounter with this rude employee. He is rude every time I go to that location. I find it funny that the guy standing in line behind me walked up to the front counter to get serviced the same exact time I did, and he only had 3 packages to drop off (the black guy was helping him), but my cashier finished all 30 packages before he did. I have a PO Box here and constantly have mail lost or delivered weeks after it was mailed (locally). The only reason I still have a box here is bc it is on all of my business information; paper invoices, contracts etc. so as we transition away from this garbage company we are stuck here for a little longer.. The reason I am writing this review though is that I recently had an important package mailed to my PO box via UPS (a better run company). The package was signed for by a rep confirmed to be working at this location, dated and time stamped and then the package mysteriously disappeared. I have a confirmation tracking from UPS with all of this information and when trying to file a complaint with USPS they said they will do nothing because it does not have a USPS tracking # assigned. In short, since it was mailed to their location by a competitor there is no recourse for the package disappearing even though it was confirmed in the post offices' possession. It was lost or stolen by USPS 2901 W Parker Road staff and they refuse to do anything about it even when pleading my case to USPS consumer affairs. I recommend avoiding all business with this "company" and especially this location. read more

Customer service at this location is a joke. Absolutely the worst. The manager or person in charge of this post office should be ultimately held accountable for the customer service. There are never enough clerks working. And when dealing with a clerk their attitudes are rotten. They seem to be bothered by a task. They seem to always ask another clerk questions or step in the back to get an answer. Does this management team train their employees? Or do they just put them in a position and say, "here go work and good luck"? The self serve kiosk does not work at this location half the time. Case in point, I bought stamps yesterday and it shorted me a page. So a 25 minute wait in line to have a clerk act like a complete douche to me, just so I could get my stamps. Also where is the supervisor or manager? Why not help your clerks out when I line is to the door and your clerks clearly are struggling. Yesterday was my last for this location. I am really unhappy with the service and customer care. I moved and did a change of address, went in and paid 15 for a new mail box key to be made. They told me up to 15 days. I've been up there 3 times. No explanation of why my keys have not been made. It's been 3 weeks. I have not been able to receive my mail. This is very poor treatment. And still no answer or key. Be Aware!! Be Very Aware!!! I had a PO Box there for 16 years. With no statement in my PO Box or email notification (as in all the past years), no notification of any kind, they shut my mailbox down and started sending my mail back to the senders. I had picked up my mail one week prior, and came back the next week, to find it closed. Credit card statements, bank statements, legal matters, payments from clients, and everything else, sent away. I was home all day waiting for a package, when I left for 16 minutes to pick up my son from school and came back. There was no notice on my door, but at 540, I get an alert that the package was undeliverable. I check online and they say they attempted to deliver at 340... but I don't get alerted until 2 hours later. That's a joke. I called and sat on the phone for 49:22. I was told that my package would be available to pick up as early as 5 am. I show up a few minutes before before 700, because I need this package for a trip this morning. I was at the door ringing the bell for 50 minutes, heard a million people back there, but nothing. Sign clearly says pick up available for ca2l in at 7... which I did the day before. Now I'm heading out of town LATE because of this yeah service. This is why I rather spend more for UPS and FEDEX. I hope the people of Houston won't miss these supplies #houstonstrong read more

I have to vent. Our Post Office spends Millions on TV advertising then only one trip to the local Post Office makes you want to scream! And they really don't care. They're Gubment Employees and they know they can't be fired. The lady in front of me was waiting for an honest 20 minutes at the package pickup window and after I re-rang the door bell after I have waited for 10 minutes. The clerk who first greeted her came to the window and it became obvious that the clerk had totally forgot abt her after she took the delivery slip. The clerk demanded that the lady give her the delivery slip that was already given to the clerk 20 minutes earlier. The guy who is suppose to be in charge was very complacent abt the ordeal. They're Gubment employees and their union protects them. They might be placed on "administrative leave" (fancy words for paid vacation) then they will get reassigned to a different office after the heat blows over. They wonder why the Post Office is having financial issues. Good Grief. This is why my company only ships via UPS. I have a Post Office Box at the Parker Road location for over 5 years. Although they have improved over the years it's that Gubment Employee's Union mentality that needs to be fixed. I went on vacation and stopped the mail. It was suppose to be started back on April 22. I received the stopped mail notice and regular mail that day but I did not receive the mail that was stopped until May 9, 2015. When I received it, it had four other peoples mail included in my mail. I also received a Forward Residential Notification for a lady who had stopped her mail on 3/11 and wasn't returning home until 9/21/15. I am not real happy with my service. read more
