After the kiosk accepted my payment of $35, the machine jammed and misprinted the first shipping label. An employee was called to assist and reset the machine, which resulted in my entire transaction being erased. I did not receive any usable shipping labels, and my payment was not refunded. As a result, I lost $35 due to a kiosk malfunction and the subsequent reset performed by the employee. I am requesting reimbursement of the $35 charged and guidance on how this issue will be resolved.

But today I stopped by in the morning before work to drop off two packages that I had QR codes for. Used the self kiosk since there was only one person in line there and the normal line had about 10 people. Printed my postage and put them on my package, got my receipt, all good to go. Went to drop off my packages in the package drop off bin but it was locked so went over to the counter to ask where I could leave the packages and the counter lady told me to get in line. I told her I used the kiosk, my packages are good to go but the bin is locked I just need to set the packages down. And she told me that she did not care and I have to get in line to hand them to her. I have been going to USPS for years, multiple locations, even in different states, and have NEVER been told I have to get in line to HAND a package to a clerk when the package already has the postage and everything on it AND I had my receipt. I am not waiting in a 30 minute line with 10 people ahead of me to do that. Either unlock the bin or have a counter reserved for drop offs like EVERY other USPS office has. And besides the fact, SHE could've been more respectful too. Will never go to this location again. I went to a different USPS right after this situation and dropped them off at the counter they have designated for drop offs, and walked out. No waiting in line.

Luckily VIC found it and listen to what he did- he found the package I had sent, looked up the address of where I sent my package from, GOOGLED it, called them- and had them relay the message to me that he had found my Drivers License. I used to dread coming into USPS, but not after having this as my local post office! This past fall, I've had to ship a lot of packages and was here almost every other week! The workers always had a smile in their face and were very patient! Service is quick/lines move fast, the place is always clean, and everything is very efficient. The only thing that could be a headache is lack of parking spots on busy times (Christmas shipping season). However, spots open up after about 2-3 mins anyway! Consequently, I had to stand in line. Also, I chose to go to this facility because it's the main facility for Plano and I needed my package to depart the facility with the early collection parcels. I arrived at the Post Office in plenty of time to make the early collection time. My package, however, did not begin tracking until almost midnight, so it likely was not placed in their internal collection location until after the early collection time. Poor customer service.

Don't waste your time coming here for that stuff. Just go to the one on Stonebrook 2. The kiosk machine seems to rarely be in service and when it does work it will charge your credit card but not spit out the postage. Don't bother calling the postal service about a refund or anything else regarding the kiosk. Only the store personnel can assist you. Which leads to the 3rd item. 3. The store hours don't seem very reasonable. They aren't open the times I can get there this the reason to use the kiosk. The postal service owes me a refund of $14 for postage that never printed but since I can't get there during their hours I am out of luck. Even though the Stonebrook location is a long ways away, I have to go there for anything postal related. Maybe someday the government will hire someone that will change the attitude of the postal service by introducing an aspect of customer service!!!
