Roughly 1500sqft pavers and 1000sqft turf. First subcontractor did demolition, no excavation, no prep and started laying pavers. on 80% of project completion, we stopped this chaos. We could not look at interim results without crying: drainage not planned, not leveled, bricks cut is terrible, borders around laid pavers not planned and another round of perimeter cuts is not avoidable. Dust everywhere, trash is not disposed and laying everywhere. Needless to mentioned, chaos was lasting 2 months. We were tired and raised notice to general contractor, who seems did not care much, everything by spec, PM said. General contractor starting bringing new teams to evaluate state of project and finish it. 4 Teams come and rejected to completed it. It was disaster. To be honest, owner of business promised the project will be completed within highest quality. I waited.... When Placido come for assessment, I did not believe he could even do something here. In first day he made something what changed my mind - his team rebuild porch and it looked amazingly well, same as we wanted. I started communicating within him and his team, and in a few days they finished walkway. Same promising results, same impressions. Hope started raising, this team is what I was looking for! But, we quickly realize, we do not want to finish project, we have to REDO it. Hopefully, general contractor accepted our concerns and Placido started. Team, teared everything, compacted, leveled, designed drainage and layer pavers. I'm sharing few pics of this fantastic works. We as owners, we stand two projects, regardless, result worth it. I never had issues with team. They listen you, they follow up raised concerns (not much I had at all), clean and accurate job.
