Great Experience with Alum Rock Doors - Big Thanks to Jerry!!…read more I ordered all new interior doors from Alum Rock Doors back in January while renovating my new place. Jerry was incredibly helpful throughout the order process - friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Although I had someone else install the doors, I later ran into a few issues with how they were functioning. When I reached out to Jerry for help, he didn't hesitate. He came by in person to take a look and see exactly what needed to be adjusted or repaired. That kind of care is rare these days. He also referred me to Fernando from Noal Construction, a general contractor who ended up doing an excellent job adjusting all the doors. I truly appreciate that Jerry only recommends people he trusts, and that really meant a lot to me. If you're looking for a company that not only provides quality products but also stands behind them even after the sale, I highly recommend Alum Rock Doors. Thank you again, Jerry

Ooh my goodness, I never left a review! Homer is the best salesman. When it comes to flooring, I am…read moreall over the place. Still am. We were recommended by another company to come here and I can see why. Homer was really patient with me and spent a lot of time with my husband and I in trying to find the right flooring. On top of that, Homer answered my concerns and questions via email too. He is just wonderful! My only advice is to not ever get Mohawk tecwood, natural linen oak. It's my fault. I tried to research and I picked it. Homer tried to steer us to better quality to hold up for everyday use, but I was dead set on this. I should have listened. I will be back and listen to Homer next time. Just love this place!

Mixed experience with FMD Distributor…read more On the positive side, We worked with Homer for our flooring project and had a fantastic experience. He was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with Shawn on the windows and doors side was the complete opposite. He often came across as condescending, seemed distracted and in a rush, and follow-up was poor. Customer service and communication were disappointing, and we were left wondering why someone with that attitude is in a customer-facing role. Based on my experience, I would happily recommend Homer for flooring, but I cannot say the same for the windows and doors department.

The doors were expensive - but matching the quality I expected and I am thrilled about how nice they are - however, I really wish it were an option to have a certified expert from their shop install the doors. My pocket doors are gorgeous in spite of several errors made by the people installing -it's a specialty item, they built it perfectly, but I now realize the importance of the other half of it - installation is still not exactly right and has been a point of frustration which tarnishes a little bit the joy I have for my awesome doors.

I can't say enough good things about Chris Young at J&M Windows and Glass…read more I reached out to J&M looking for a replacement part for an Andersen patio door installed around 2007 when my condo building was constructed. Chris immediately helped me figure out what was wrong and made sure the correct part was ordered. Once the part came in, he called me right away. When I picked it up, he went above and beyond by walking me through the repair process step-by-step instead of just selling me the part and sending me on my way. After I got home, I realized I was missing several screws--likely lost by the previous owner when the lock originally broke. I called Chris back, and he told me to stop by and gave me the screws for free. This was clearly not a high-margin sale, and Chris easily spent more time helping me than the purchase was worth financially. He didn't hesitate for a second, which tells you everything you need to know about how he runs his business. If you value integrity, expertise, and real customer service, give Chris your business. You won't regret it.

Just a great place. Everyone is really nice and patient. I asked Quinn for lots of cabinets that were light. Quinn delivered a design for just that. I have room for EVERYTHING! The ordering process at Demetra Cabinetry is smooth, but their production, delivery, and customer…read moreservice are unacceptable. We placed a full kitchen cabinet order on April 24th for a June 15th delivery. We are still missing upper doors and shelves. Every update we get is a moving goalpost (first told they shipped 7/20, now told next week). As many other reviewers have noted, they completely stop replying to emails once they have your money. When we complained, we were told it's a "production issue," and they couldn't help us. A business is responsible for a project until it is fully delivered. Look elsewhere if you value communication and timelines.

It's frustrating working with this company trying to get estimates from them. I initially called…read morethem by phone asking if they can give me a rough estimate for a custom front door, barn door and some shelvings for my clients laundry room. They asked me to send an email with pictures and measurements which I did. I never got a respond from them whether they received it or not. Called back 2 days later to check. They said they got the email and we're working on getting a rough estimate to me. Once we approve the estimate, they will come out to do their own measurements. Waited another 2-3 days and didn't hear anything. Called them back but it went to voicemail. Then I got a text as seen on photos. They said they were closed that day but will get estimate to me by tomorrow. Tomorrow came, never got the estimate texted them back, got another text saying they were working on it and will send by the end of the day. Texted back at the end of the day and didn't get a respond and now it's the weekend. I found them on Yelp and saw that they had a good amount of Yelp reviews and rating so I reached out to them but I never would expect for them to take so long to give an estimate. This is extremely frustrating because of these false promises! You need to do better as a company!
