The relay I got here didn't work and just got hot (it showed signs of being defective). Went back to get a refund. I casually explained to the employee that I needed a new one because the first one was getting hot and just not working. Right off the bat he began gaslighting me that the issue wasn't the relay and was most likely a crossed wire. I disagreed, got a new relay and went on my way. That one didn't work either. I went to a different store (Ellicott City) and explained that the relays clearly weren't working and they refused to refund me because they are electronic parts. I didn't do the exchange again because they clearly weren't compatible with my vehicle or just plain cheap. I got a used Ford brand relay off ebay and it works just fine. Long story short I'm never going back to Advance Auto Parts. Bad experience all around.

They let me borrow an OBII reader (battery is going bad) and the staffer Jamie even verified the problem with their dedicated battery tester. Above and beyond, I didn't even buy anything today. He suggested the best buy to get the parts I needed (their rewards program is awesome) especially the 30 cent per gal discount partnership with Shell. The military discount is awesome. Chose to take my truck to the Catonsville location as my friend had his truck done there. As I…read morepulled up to the parking lot, a man came out to greet me promptly. I was in the process of taking off my tonneau cover, and he told me he'd have the team take it off and have it back one when they were done. I made some special requests like no Line-x stickers or badges and to have some holes taped down. I waited for the truck since I didn't have a ride. Watched some cable TV that was available in the waiting area. Very friendly staff, we discussed the shows. When the truck was done, one of the workers brought it around to the front and had me inspect. I was really happy about the way it looked on the truck, amazing product. My bed was all scratched up before, because I was too lazy to get it done sooner, but now it looks brand new and better. All in all I'm satisfied with the job. I'd give them 4.5/5 if I could. The only reason for me taking off a half point is for some minor miss in details. They sprayed over 2 bolts (shouldn't really matter though) and there was some overspray in my bedgate latches.
