I recently had new tires installed at another Just Tires location and they unfortunately forgot to program the TPMS sensors. The original shop was over an hour away, but Deion at the Glen Burnie location was able to get me in the same day and had the sensors mated to my truck in no time. Couldn't be happier with the punctual and friendly service.

Grease Monkey on Ritchie Highway is unlike any automotive repair shop I have encountered in the…read moreBaltimore-Glen Burnie area. What separates this location from the typical garage is their combination of speed, mechanical capability, immediate service, and determination to finish the job correctly. I brought my vehicle in for substantial rear-brake work involving new brake drums, wheel bearings, brake components, hardware, and the related parts needed to properly complete the repair. Instead of telling me to leave the vehicle for several days before a technician could even begin, they started working on it immediately. That is the remarkable part of their business model. They provide the urgency people expect from a quick-service operation, but they are capable of performing serious and complex mechanical repairs. When additional parts were needed, they were able to obtain them from nearby suppliers extremely quickly. In one instance, the replacement drums arrived in roughly 15 minutes, and the technicians continued the repair without unnecessary delay. I also observed other customers arriving with automotive problems and saw the same sense of urgency: diagnose the problem, obtain what is needed, and get to work. There was no attitude of, "Leave it here and maybe we will get to it in a few days." The young leadership and technicians work with tremendous tenacity. If a repair requires another component, another adjustment, or another step, they keep moving forward until the vehicle is properly repaired. I did not have to stand over anyone or repeatedly ask whether the related components were being addressed. They handled the repair comprehensively. Many dealerships and traditional repair shops can keep a vehicle for several days simply because it is waiting in line before anyone begins working on it. Grease Monkey has created something different: bring the vehicle in, get the repair started, obtain the necessary parts quickly, complete the mechanical work, and get the customer back on the road. Their building says, "Done Fast. Done Right." After experiencing their service firsthand, I can say that is more than advertising. It describes how this location operates. For drivers, families, commuters, and businesses with fleet vehicles throughout the Baltimore and Glen Burnie area, this is a shop worth knowing about. Five stars. Grease Monkey is not simply another repair garage. They are demonstrating what modern automotive service should look like.

My car's been making a horrible high pitched whirring sound for the last 3 years (?). While I knew it was the power steering pump was the cause, I just left it since it wasn't too big of a deal, just had to keep filling the power steering fluid a lot but other than that sound, it was fine. One of my best friends used to do all my car work for me before this but since he is no longer around I was at a loss of who to go to. My dad's neighbor (hey, Mr. Foster) recommended Hondamans. Patrick is on top of his customer game, returning calls, keeping you updated on the car status and what kind of additional work your car might need. I never felt pressure to do any of the additional work, if anything, he told me it was all just superficial/cosmetic stuff and wouldn't move forward with it if he was me. I had my car back in less than 3 days and it sounds like new. Air was getting into the pump so it did have to be replaced and now, no more stiff steering wheel, crazy noises, or overflowing fluid. Definitely be back in for future maintenance. Highly recommended!

I've spent my whole life doing my own car repairs, so it's rare that I ask someone else to help me…read more I don't trust repair shops, and I've specifically had bad luck in Glen Burnie before. Now, let me tell you why they have earned five stars from me (and I do not normally write reviews.) I called them on Day 1 and asked how much I'd be looking at for some exhaust repairs. As expected, they told me to bring it in and let them have the chance to give me an accurate estimate. Day 2, I picked up the parts that I already knew I needed and drove over to get an estimate. The shop told me that there is a $75 minimum on labor costs, so that's what they would have to charge me. Instead of walking away, I realized that I have a lot more work that needs to be done and asked if we can find a deal that makes me feel like it's worth it to spend more, but have more services performed. They gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work, so I told them that I would be back in the morning. In the end, their mechanic (Justin) installed an exhaust seal and ABS sensor, and replaced a sway bar bushing and some oil cooler line fittings. I bought my car with 180,000 miles on it, and it currently has 215,000 miles logged. Post-repair, my car has never run as smoothly as long as I've owned it! To say that I am happy is an understatement; I am ecstatic! Justin is the man, and Rich knows how to run a shop effectively. Some people would end with saying that the mechanical aspects were as expected and that the price was appropriate. I had the pleasure, and yes, it actually was a pleasure, of sitting in their waiting room from 10 AM until 6 PM. This wait was completely my own fault, as I intended to get there when they opened at 7:30 AM and I didn't get there until 10. They offered multiple times to drive me home and let me wait in comfort, but I wanted to just wait on my car. There is a great diner next door with wifi access that allowed me to sit at the bar and sip on tea for a while, but I felt bad doing this for multiple hours and I went back to the waiting room. I spent roughly six hours sitting in their waiting room and speaking on and off with their manager, Rich. I witnessed people calling in and yelling at him about things that made absolutely no sense, and I watched him respond with professionalism and poise. I watched Justin get frustrated with a car that seemed to break more every time he touched it. I watched customers come in and leave, some without a problem and some with issues to address. What I observed is that some people just argue about cost no matter what; even if they are getting a great deal. The staff here was 100% customer service oriented. They were incredible. They were so incredible that I plan on going back in a couple of weeks to have more repairs performed that were optional recommendations. Heck, they weren't even recommendations. I asked Justin to tell me everything that he saw that would help me extend the life of my vehicle and he went through it and told me. The parts are on order now. Rich saw that I was trying to work remotely and allowed me to use one of their phone lines when I could not be on my cell phone and work on my laptop at the same time. I was able to effectively work remotely and not miss a day of work because they were willing to work with me. I cannot recommend this shop enough. I have never found a commercial chain store that I felt was giving me the complete truth... until now. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a chance. Ask for Rich. Ask for Justin. There are others that I am sure are just as competent, but these two know what's up!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Tate Jeep on Ritchie Highway in Glen…read moreBurnie. I scheduled an appointment two weeks in advance to have an electrical issue diagnosed on my eight-week-old Jeep. Since the vehicle was already going to be there, I also requested an oil change. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told they didn't have time to look at the electrical issue it would take days to figure it out, and that I should reschedule after my vacation. While inconvenient, I agreed. Two weeks later, I returned for my rescheduled appointment. This time, after arriving, I was informed that Tate would not honor the warranty/ oil changes I had purchased through another Jeep dealership. While that was frustrating, the bigger concern was that my Jeep--only eight weeks old--had an unresolved electrical issue that still needed to be diagnosed. They kept my vehicle from 8:45 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m., then texted me that it was ready for pickup. I replied to the text asking whether they had found the electrical problem. I never received a response. I then called to request the shuttle service they advertise, since I live less than five miles away. My calls went unanswered, I left multiple voicemails, and no one returned them. In the end, my husband had to leave work early to drive me to the dealership. Unfortunately, the customer service didn't improve when I arrived. The cashier addressed me as "Mr. S." When I politely corrected her and said I was "Mrs.," her response was a dismissive, "I'm just used to saying Mr." It came across as unnecessarily rude instead of simply apologizing and correcting the mistake. When I asked if they found the electrical issue I was told again quite dismissively I don't know ask your writer. From being turned away at my first appointment, to the lack of communication, unanswered calls, failure to provide the advertised shuttle service, and the dismissive customer service, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. When someone brings in a nearly new vehicle with an electrical issue, they expect communication, professionalism, and respect. Unfortunately, I received none of those. I cannot recommend Tate Jeep Service based on my experience.
