I went to Plaza Carpet to speak with the owner, David, who claimed that he didn't know anything about how the carpet should be vacuumed. He acknowledged absolutely no responsibility for how it should be vacuumed, even though HE WAS THE ONE WHO SOLD THE CARPET TO ME. The receptionist, who had sent me the notice about the Sanitaire vacuum cleaner, came out to say it is only a recommendation. She said the carpet should be fine. David literally walked away from me, denying any responsibility at all. Well, I went home and looked carefully at the carpet only to realize that in fact it was already getting fuzzy from our Shark vacuum cleaner.
