I went here after Lowe's sent me defective carpet twice, leaving me with no flooring for a month!…read more Ned helped me find a choice and style that suited me and my budget and was in stock. Everyone at the store was sympathetic to my situation and followed up quickly with any questions or concerns o had. My final install was with Ryan G. He worked late just to make sure my install was right and that I could finally walk on floors again! Ryan is very serious about getting the job done in a way that will leave his costumers satisfied. The people at this shop cared about my satisfaction. Lowe's couldn't even offer regrets for undone floors and twice defective merchandise. Go here instead. They are local and get the job done right.

I had a disappointing experience with Floor Factory Outlet in St. Augustine…read more We purchased carpet and padding on Sunday and provided the measurements we had. We were told those measurements would not matter because someone would come to our home to measure before installation. The installer called us as promised and came by to measure. The final measurement required an additional 6.67 yards, which we paid for by credit card over the phone. We were given an installation price and scheduled the installation for Wednesday. We were told to pay the installer directly the amount quoted by the flooring company. After the installation, the price had increased by $72. I was told the additional charge covered the installer's measurement visit and gas. These fees were not disclosed when we made the purchase or when we were quoted the installation price. Adding an undisclosed fee at the time of installation was unacceptable and should have been communicated in advance. I contacted the company to address the issue and was told that the additional charges were not what had been agreed upon. However, the company declined to resolve the matter or take responsibility for the actions of its installer. I also specifically requested that the leftover carpet be left for us. Despite that request, the installer disposed of it without our permission. Throwing away material that the customer expressly asked to keep was inappropriate and unacceptable. The company's handling of the undisclosed fee and the disposal of our leftover carpet were extremely disappointing. Customers should receive clear, accurate pricing and should be able to trust that their specific requests will be respected.

Today's home improvement has been remodeling the bedroom closet to add shelving. You never know how much you can accumulate as a woman. Ha! Ha! Between Jewelry, makeup and accessories, I've literally need more space. Hubby graciously remodeled our bedroom closet just for me. The entire closet and moved his closet to the 2nd bedroom. He build me extra shelving and storage space for shoes and my purses. We did purchase the closet decor from Home Depot. Hubby added his own touch to make it - Wow just for me. Both selections to choose from where in my price range. When you add all the additional features needed for sturdiness, rods and shelves. It can become a little pricey. But, we pay for what we like. And I live my new closet lay out. We're Home Depot Shoppers for Life!

I went to the St Augustine, FL store this afternoon to buy a Makita Drill/Driver combo set. The…read moreparking lot was nearly empty, maybe 20 customers in the store. I spent 10 minutes by myself trying to compare when John arrived, though he clearly had things he would prefer to do. The combo on display, XFD10SY, had a display price of $199. The same model, XFD10SY, in a box below had a price in front of it as $179. On the shelf beside it was model CT225SXY with a price in front of it of $199. So, my first question was, is the price of XFD10SY $179 or $199? My second question is what's the difference between XFD10SY and CT225SXY? With this John began to get impatient with my ignorance. Each time I tried to rephrase these questions, John got more perturbed to the point that I didn't feel safe engaging with him further and left the store. John is bit of a hot head, who probably is more suited to a position not dealing with the public. I'm 67 years old. Being bullied by a customer service representative was the last thing I expected on a Sunday afternoon.
