The salesman Nathan & measurer Phil did a good job of covering the basics & following through with detailed estimates. Their installers are in-house and Travis & Gene did a very good job of installation & clean up. This carpet truly has extremely limited off-gassing & even "new" odor was gone the next day. I went in to pay the balance & asked for any carpet info in writing, I did not get it, but I did receive a bottle of carpet cleaner for this type of carpet. Travis stated if there were any installation problems in the year to call them. As a long-time established family local business I shall rely on his word. Although some of their fees are higher, I would definitely use Hasty's again.

Our…read moredecision was based predominately on the fact that we could actually see the granite slabs we purchased and could therefore decide on specific designs and aesthetic aspects of our particular slabs and incorporate those patterns in our design We carefully designed exactly what areas would be cut into the specific high traffic areas in our home. We focused on only three cuts and let the what we deemed the experts cut the remaining counters with the best utilization of each slab. Imagine our shock when not one of those three areas were installed in our home. The counters we received had a great deal more stress cracks and flaws than we recognized in our selection. Unfortunately many of these flaws and stress cracks are front and center in the highly visible areas of our counter spaces. We expressed our dissatisfaction of what we actually received and were offered a cutting board made from the same granite. We declined. Seven installation appointments later we are left completely discouraged and disappointed after the huge investment of money and time.

Going into this process - they never informed me about plumbing or hiring a plumber - since obviously, I would have. First they didn't have the tool to turn off the water, thankfully, I had a neighbor that did. From there - they completed the installation. Before I signed for the job - I reminded them to turn the water back on. They said they couldn't do that - only a plumber could - since my valves were bad?! I was apalled! If they noted my valves were bad - why would they have started the job? They knew I didn't have a plumber! It was nearly 2pm - and I was stuck with no water! I called the owner, Crystal - and she literally told me it was MY PROBLEM - and HUNG UP ON ME!!! The installers as my witness. Seriously?! She claimed she told me I needed a plumber (not true) but in the next breathe said - she didn't know my valves were bad - okay, so what was it? Either way - they were in the wrong and needed to find me a plumber. As a contractor - it was probably easier than what I went through - and the extra costs I encountered. Do yourself a favor - find another company!!! These people are awful!

You can hardly see the drain because the tile for the drain was cut in the same pattern as the floor. He also was sure that we were happy with the tile job on our screened in patio. (Sorry for the mess in this picture - we had a storm this morning!). Finally, Tile Tek put the glass tile we selected inside our glass front cabinets. We love everything that they did!

Looked at the 'job', he emailed estimate that evening a very accurate, cost of everything going line by line. We had requested a start date for the job, no problem. He told us how much tile would be needed. We ordered from Home Depot. Rob had it picked up . On start day a crew showed up, as some of them started ripping bathroom apart. they also put down a 4' wide paper walk way so they weren't making a mess from bathroom to door. Super nice crew if I bothered them with a question they actually explained what they were doing. WOW I liked that. When the last guy left everything was cleaned up by them. Wow. Amazing customer service. I am a raving fan of this company!…read more It was the fall of 2019, and hubs and I had just purchased a condo that needed everything. Full renovation. For floors, we were pretty sure we wanted vinyl plank, and visited several places around town just in an effort to educate ourselves. We wanted something nice, something that really looked like wood since we had real wood floors in our previous home (which Mercury installed about 12 years prior, great experience with them at that time, too). We quickly discovered LVP, luxury vinyl plank. But even as we narrowed to that category, the options were seemingly endless. We called Cristal from Mercury who we had worked with on our previous wood floors, and she came right out to our new place with several options, just to work through what we wanted. Cristal is so knowledgeable and sweet! A real joy... she educated us AND she listens. Long story short, we stretched our budget as far as we could get it and chose a really nice high end LVP. We were happy! Delivery came on a Friday, and the install crew began work in a Monday. The install was expected to take a week. A few hours after work began, I got a call from Cristal. Problem with the flooring... her crew had discovered the problem fairly quickly, and opened about half the boxes in an effort to find flooring that didn't have "the problem". No luck... Cristal said she had already made contact with the manufacturer to find out if they could get replacement flooring expedited... flooring without "the problem" (the problem was most of the floor wouldn't snap together properly, and those pieces that did snap together would not seat together flush, left gaps between planks). I was very grateful to the install crew for stopping install and for Cristal jumping in to sort fixing everything quickly, but I was clearly worried about our condo renovation. You know how these things go... can't do the next thing until the first thing is done, and so on. And I was on a tight deadline... our current home was sold and we needed to move out by a certain date! By the next morning, Cristal called. The manufacturer finally called to say the entire manufacturing lot had "the problem", and they wouldn't be able to replace the flooring for upwards of 6 weeks. I gasped! She quickly told me not to worry, I could pick another floor and they would rush ship it. Hubs and I LOVED the floor we had chosen, but we had no choice... we had to pick a new one. Cristal came right over with samples... by then she knew exactly what we liked aesthetically. I looked over everything and quickly narrowed down to two... after a few more minutes, I decided. Cristal said she thought I would probably choose that one and it was more expensive than my original purchase. Great.... how much more? We had already stretched our budget. Cristal said no extra charge... Mercury would give me the new floor for the same price as the old floor, AND rush ship it. I was flabbergasted. They took a situation that was not their fault and made it the best they could. Like I said, amazing customer service. The new floor came a few days later, rush shipment as promised. But now the install crew was working on a new project (they were out of work for about a week after my project fell apart). But they came in after their other project, on weekends, late at night... whenever, to get my floor installed as quickly as possible and get my project back on its timeline. There were a few tense moments with the install crew, I will admit... there were moments I thought they might be cutting corners. But looking back, they weren't. We were all stressed to the max, and the crew was working triple time. They did a good job. And miraculously they got it done, and I was very grateful. Follow up work was done a couple weeks later by Michael... he did some tweaking to the floor and trim work after my cabinets were installed. Super attention to detail and doing a job the very best it can be done, even if it takes extra time or another visit. He was amazing! All in all, this was the best experience I've ever had with a service company. I ended up with a beautiful floor that is better than the original floor I chose. But I would not recommend going through the stress of this situation to my worst enemy! Im still in awe at how Mercury took a tough situation and bent over backwards to make it better, even though they did nothing to cause the problem. There is no other company I'll ever recommend for flooring... Mercury has a customer for life!
