Having very limited time I had to go and select what was necessary so the project could continue and not held up any longer. Stressed well, that's an understatement however I first had the privilege of working with Randy who invoked Todd's opinion and ended with Erica @ check out. They truly made this stressful situation a Joy and I even left with a smile on my face because of them. Randy was extremely patient, I asked him if he was busy and if he could help. He spent the next 20 minutes walking up and down the aisles repetitively (at least four times) before I could finally decide on the tile. As we were looking for the shower flooring to match the fantastic tile- the only thing I knew - I wanted pebbles. This is where Todd came to help, the two of them tag team and got various samples. (I got one which got voted out very quickly for the right reason). Todd had an eye for this as does Randy and that truly made a difference because from what I said earlier, being extremely stressful now suddenly became exciting because of the tile and pebble flooring that Randy and Todd helped select. Upon leaving, I had the privilege of working with Erica who is so kind and patient as I asked many questions about how the contractor will come get everything the following morning. She maintained a smile and when I told her how great Randy and Todd were she handed me a card so I could do a yelp review. Little does she know I've been an elite yelper for Eight years Overall, I'm very happy with what I got, the prices were very reasonable and I got a good value for my money. I was actually surprised at how inexpensive the pebble flooring and tile were as I really thought it was gonna cost a lot more. I had a professional cleaning company come in, no success in removing the haze. At this point I am treating the floors with Quick Shine products to clean & provide some consistency in finish. I would never buy this product, $5K later and it looks old worn out floor.

We need countertops for our new kitchen so I suggested to hubs to travel up to the store so we can shop in person and browse options. We also want to weight out price options between different stores. We arrived in the early evening and it was not busy. As soon as we were about to enter the store, we were greeted very enthusiastically by an employee. It was so nice and welcoming. This store is massive! We decided to walk around the entire store since it was our first time here. I was surprised of the imbalance of product genres. Eventually, we located where the countertops were and it was the smallest section of this warehouse size store. Once we located the countertop section, we found very limited options but decided to pull samples together. There are areas where you can put samples together and see how everything looks. After we did that, we decided to leave. Upon walking out, an employee who was working the designing desk offered his card and informed us the services Floor & Decor provides, including someone coming to the home and assisting in ordering, designing, and providing estimates. We were also greeted on the way out of the store. The employees were really nice.

This is the best store of this sort I have ever been in…read more The wife wanted to go here, it was never on my radar. The word "decor" made me think it was sort of like a HomeGoods type of place, vases, baskets, signs that say "Wine O'clock", that sort of thing. In fact they do not carry those, but they have a truly impressive selection of tile, both floor and wall, and flooring. No matter what one is looking for in tile or flooring, they will likely have it here, and will not be plunking one down at a desk to open binders. They also have a much broader selection of colored grouts and caulks than H*** D**** or L****. Well-stocked, clean, huge facility , plenty of staff willing to be helpful but not biting my ankle. Prices seemed good to me. For example, they had a nice beige ceramic tile, 12" x 12", for only .49 each, and I thought it was quite nice, a super cheap way to redo a floor. They have some hypnotic tile patterns that I have never seen before, nice eye candy ( see photos ). So I can't give them a 5 as I did not go through the process of a good size order with them, we just bought a few diddly things, but if you are doing this sort of project, you should consider coming here instead of places staffed by those with orange or blue aprons.
