One of the design consultants toured us around and made suggestions as to quality, durability, and style. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant and we had her full attention. There are differences in products depending on use, pets, durability, and water resistance and she explained it all to us. The quality, variety, and styles were far superior to the "big box stores". She even showed us clearance items. We are very pleased with what we chose. This is the only place I would go if I needed anything in the future. read more

Don't believe their inventory system. It lies about availability to customers. I placed an order with an associate who confirmed the website availability of every tile we needed for our project and that I could pick it up next day. The hours I spent going to pickup only to find they did not have the tile to fill the order. FURTHER, Imagine my installer's Dismay when he was not able to work for a week because floor & decor could not get common bright white ice tiles to fulfill the order. Fix your archaic system to address allocations or limit your sales to those internal to your company and forget retail or contractor orders. Finally, after a weeks delay for their most common/high volume product, I tried to buy a couple matching cove corner pieces (98 cents each). They couldn't get the system to accept the bar code on one, and expected me to wait while they walk across the entire store and back. I gave them a $10 bill and said keep the change, and they said they couldn't do that. Hope they figured it out. But yet another example of customer abuse. Thank you to Lynn for making the extra effort to drive to another store to finally allow us to get started. The only bright spot in the entire experience. I wish I would have ordered from daltile. The delivery would have been the same time and the price may have been a little higher, but a full product line and a quality product would have been assured. read more

4.5 stars. 5 for our designer, Marina, 4 for the store. This is a superstore for all remodeling needs from tile to grout and all accessories needed. The first time we went to browse for our bathroom remodel, we were overwhelmed by all the choices. Marina was not pushy, but led us through the store, showing us many possibilities so we could get an idea about what we wanted. She was very patient with us even though we did not have a good idea of what we wanted at first, even postponing her lunch hour to help us. The second time we came back, we had an hour appointment with her. She helped us narrow down our choices and helped us build of off a decorative tile we fell in love with, suggesting grout colors and shower floor tiles that would go well, steering us away from things we suggested that would not work. We were able to pick up some of the materials the day of our appointment. Some things needed to be picked for us over night. They set up a time for pickup the next day, and I assumed everything would be ready for us. When we arrived for our appointment, things were not ready for us to load. We had to wait about half an hour for someone at the service desk to locate someone else to get our order. All in all, our bathroom remodel turned out beautifully, and if we have remodeling needs again, I will choose this store. read more

Steve B at the Sanford, FL location was incredibly helpful. Steve came up to my husband and I while we were trying to figure out if we had found a stone tile we'd been searching for some time. The tile fell from our fireplace and cracked. Steve helped us based on description and a picture. The tile worked great! Then my visit got a whole lot better. Through Steve's knowledge, guidance and patience, I was able to figure out what type of countertop I wanted. Steve then went next level and brought the slab out for me to see, further making sure I'd be buying exactly what I wanted. The wifey and I are undertaking a home renovation and we were directed to this particular Flooring & Decor location (now we know why). When we arrived we were promptly greeted by Marcus and let me tell you he was absolutely AMAZING. He was so patient with us explaining the hundreds of different options for our home. This is a difficult task for any home owner to take on but Marcus made it so easy and actually fun. He listened to us and what we envisioned for our renovation look. He took in all off that information and provided us with a bunch of different options that fit our budget as well as the look we were going for. Marcus has a wealth of information whether it be the product line, manufacture or the actual installation process. My wife and I felt like we were in good hands. Once we picked our all of the material it was Stan who translated all the material ordered into the sqft of product we needed to order. It was a bit of math and number crunching but when we were done it all worked out perfectly. Needless to say when we finished ordering we were relieved. I speak only from a browsing perspective. I went here on the weekend and was asked if I needed help right away. The place is huge! and had a ton of selections. I was looking for the perfect backsplash here and sadly I did not find it here; but we are very picky. I found a lot of backsplash and other tiles that were beautiful that I'd like to try in other rooms of the house. the tiles are easy to purchase as samples and the prices very reasonable. In addition it looked like they had some nice high end options like marble and other stone tiles as well as more traditional types of tile. I browsed around the rest of the store and was "floored" (haha) by the multiple faux, yet completely realistic looking "hardwood" options in tile and acrylic flooring. If you are looking for tile or flooring, I recommend stopping here! read more

Great, friendly service. If buying a lot of materials (floor or tile) buy and schedule pick up for 4+ hours or next day. They have a really great selection of flooring (wood, LVP and tile) and kitchen and bathroom tile (glass, ceramic even a few peel and stick on)! I love how you can buy one tile to see if you like it and they have a good return policy that makes it easy to return. We prefer this location over the Orlando. Friendlier and more in stock. I'm giving Floor and Decor 4 stars for their product and negative stars for their customer service. Somehow I'm evening this out to two stars. I tried to place a tile order several times online and it would not process a gift card I was using towards the purchase. Since that isn't the stores fault, I figured I'd just call and see if I could place the order by phone since I live a little farther away. I called three times throughout two days and never got an answer. Then I called the corporate service line to place the order and after 20 minutes with them, they said I need to make sure the store will allow me to assign permission to my contractor to be able to pick up my tile order for me. I call this location back again, and to no surprise, do not get any answer. I finally get tired of this and just pay for everything out of pocket. I assigned my contractor permission and the order took forever. I've also had several issues here with the return policy changing and being caught with extra tile. The staff is not trained to handle actual customers here, just tile. Thankfully this is my last home project and I do not have to go back there again! read more

So disgusted I purchased my tile on Friday, my mistake I didn't realize you had to set up an appointment to pick up your order, so I took my husbands truck., wasted trip. They set The appointment for Monday got the email reminder, went at my set time the guy comes out with a small portion of my order. I questioned him and he said there's a hold on it. I went in to talk to the manager because once again wasted trip. The only store that had it was 2 hrs away, I asked for a transfer, oh we don't do that. So I asked for a refund I payed 1/2 cash 1/2 charge he would only credit my card not give me the cash. When I asked when it would come in he said who knows. read more

We went to the store in Sanford, Fl today, our first time there. Shopping for tile for a new shower to be built soon. A young man named "Cora" asked if he could help us, I said we needed a designer and radioed for one. No one was available at that time but I asked he might be able to assist us. Although everyone I encountered was great, Emily was phenomenal. She helped me review my orders, make another choice on one of the tiles, select the best colors of grout, the best schluter strip finish, and after all of this, she took on the challenge of rescheduling delivery, taking care to ensure that every aspect of the order and delivery processes would be what I wanted. A terrific representative of Floor and Decor. Every business would want to have someone like her. The original delivery schedule was ably assisted by Mary, who is in Atlanta. She too was remarkable. She was very careful with each step - what wound up requiring a rescheduling was the fact that one of the tiles ordered had more than one dye lot. This fact was noticed by a F&D employee and the delivery was halted until we could work out the problem. I have spent seemingly endless hours looking at tile. I'm finished now, but If I had more projects to do, I would go to F&D first, last, and always. Thank you Emily, Mary, and all the F&D employees who helped me. My insight from my experience is to buy in the store and take the items with you. Don't do delivery as there is no guarantee that the items won't be sold to someone else. Also, if you want to call the store just call to the Pro desk. I tried the department options 3 times and waited for 5 minutes with it ringing and got no answer. The Pro desk answered first time I tried them. The experience in the store was good. The employees were nice, and helped answer my questions about what was needed for tiling a shower. The associate John Chang was very nice, and helped me order the items I wanted for delivery. Unfortunately, at the time of purchase they said they had the quantity of tile I was purchasing, and I saw with my own eyes there was more than enough boxes of tile in the store. They called me a few days later saying that they were a few tiles short, and I could either 1. get refunded the few tiles, 2. wait two weeks for another shipment to come in or 3. cancel the order. I said I'll just go get them at another store. The day before delivery was scheduled an associate named Kyle called me saying that they needed to go over some things for the delivery. He was very polite and asked me if I had been told that most of the order of tiles was loose tiles and that they couldn't guarantee the quality of the tiles...I said just cancel the whole order. He was very polite and let me know he would have it canceled. Not sure why they couldn't just give me the tiles that were in boxes in the store, or why they would think it would be okay to deliver 200 loose tiles that they can't guarantee the quality of. Again, the experience in the store was great. The employees were very nice and helpful; however, my personal experience with the entire purchase ended up being very disappointing. The store was very organized and easy to shop. Associate Arturo Bonilla assisted us on multiple visits, pulling items and giving recommendations. He was very friendly and helpful. On our first trip to the store, he helped my husband match some laminate flooring for a new home that we had just purchased. He made sure that he had everything he needed so that the install went smooth. He also helped him with selecting the items to replace our stair treads. Arturo spent close to 2 hours assisting him on that trip. The second time we went in today, he happened to be at the store and my husband sought him out because of the great customer service he had initially received. On this visit, he was able to help us with shower tiles, accent tiles, grout, and a granite vanity top. Overall, we had an excellent experience at the Sanford location because of Arturo and will be coming back soon! read more

If you've never been here, think a shoe warehouse with LOTS of shoes in it, but it's flooring instead of shoes. It was pleasant to shop in, and the guy who asked us if we needed help was tremendously helpful. He was obviously knowledgeable, but didn't talk down to us. We're not experts on pricing for flooring, but from what I can determine, they're very competitive, with many 'specials' touted throughout the aisles. The one caveat is that, with so many choices, it IS possible to get a bit confused. So, do your homework, know what you want, and you'll have a great shopping experience here. read more

I would give Floor and Decor way more than 5 stars!! I have had an absolute fantastic experience with the location, the product and most importantly Joshua and Marcus. They helped me throughout my entire renovation process. They assisted me with design ,choosing the right materials for the job, and installation instructions. And when I was one (1) piece short of finishing a pebble shower floor and both Orlando stores were sold out, Josh went above and beyond and located what I needed and had it shipped to my home. After placing my order for the tile I wanted I walked to the pro desk to have then fulfill my order. Took over an hour and thirty min to have this fulfilled and they didnt have to do anything special other than pick up an entire pallet and place it in my truck. I had guys working on a job waiting for this product.. but the employees here are joking around outside, not providing any status updates, no sense of urgency what so ever. A very successful experience. If it weren't for the help of Dolores we would have been lost. She came to our rescue and educated us throughly on vinyl flooring. She explained in detail what each rating was on the sticker and steered us clear of inferior products that wouldn't hold up with a busy large household. She was also kind enough to take us from her dept. to the tile and also took the time to explain there as well. Even took us to the cashier and out to the car to be sure we packed our large samples so they wouldn't crack! We learned a ton and will be making a large purchase for up and downstairs in our home.
