My husband and I spent several hours in the Jacksonville store off of Blanding Ave. We were looking for flooring for a home that was heavily damaged during hurricane Helene. I cannot commend Christian, the young man that helped us enough! He went above and beyond my expectations to educate and help us on the different kinds of flooring we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, patient and kind. I actually had a seizure while in the store and he remained cool, calm and collected as my husband explained what was happening. God bless him! Wow this place is HUGE. The staff are a bit ambivalent, but if you chase them down they are nice enough. There an enormous selection of tiles and wood type flooring. There are the supplies you need to install those things as well. When you walk in, to the right is a huge wall of sample tiles which is super helpful. They frequently have sales going. I got some pretty nice backsplash tiles for $4 a sheet. Same stuff at the big box stores is twice that. I like that they put the product up with grout so you can see what it will look like. That's super helpful. They have inexpensive and super expensive tiles and everything in between. This is a warehouse type store so its not cushy, the bathrooms are pretty ragged, but the prices are excellent for many products so it is worth it. Plenty of parking and big carts to haul your stuff around and out. Much better selection than any bog box store and a better price to boot! read more

I ordered ceramic tiles from floor and decor. I had the installation done in my kitchen. I thought that the floor looked so awful afterwards because they hadn't removed all the grout haze from the floor. I had two floor companies come in to remove the haze, and the first one said they couldn't do it through their process. The second one came in today and removed the haze only to reveal the scarring, scratches, scapes, and bumps that were visible on the tile. Every single tile. Had to pick one star to post. read more

We have questions about the differences in the types of flooring and what options were available. The associate that ended up helping us was very knowledgeable and didn't pressure us into a purchase. I was shopping at Floor & Decor for a house remodel. They suggested Installation Made Easy for my project. Don't do it! It was a nightmare! They advertise "licensed and insured contractors" however anytime I asked to see a license or insurance they stated, "we can't give you that information". At first I thought I was using G&M Contractors but come to find out they work for Installation Made Easy. The contractor did not finish the job so when I contacted IME they were very difficult to work with if you could get them on the phone at all. Apparently, IME is the "warranty company" however, they don't do much to help the situation other than make excuses. I made Floor & Decor aware of the situation but they did not respond or seem to care. I am currently having to sue both the contractor and IME because they did not finish the job and what they left me with was a mess! They screwed up my plumbing, floors, and left me without kitchen countertops. IME seemed to think offering me $500 for a full remodel was sufficient! Save yourself and use anyone but IME. I wouldn't want to purchase from Floor & Decor either due to their unprofessional business practice. Floor & Decor is aware of this issue and does not care that they are referring people to come to your home that don't know what they are doing. read more

Worst Floor and Decor in the country. They lost my company's $3000 order for over a week. I ordered LVP from them over a month ago and it was supposed to be delivered in 3 days and it's been a month. They keep "scheduling" a delivery so I have my employees wait at my job site for entire work days and the material never gets delivered. Who doesn't love home decor, floor and home improvement suppliers? I just walk through this store and think of all the possibilities. My friend brought us here to pick up a butt-load of travertine tiles (yuck!) for his house and it was extremely heavy. Thank goodness I brought my brother to help my friend load it into his car. For the amount of money that was spent, you would think they would insist on helping you load it. Not sure what happened there... For our small remodel, we were able to pick up the White Matte Hexagon Porcelain Mosaic tiles sold by the sheet for our bathroom floor at a pretty good price ($2-3 each). Our bathroom is very tiny so we didn't need much of it. All-in-all, they had the selection we wanted at the price we liked. read more

Beware of Floor & Decor Jacksonville on Blanding Blvd Jacksonville Most recent & last purchase EVER for bathroom project Dec 2020, one case had broken tile so they reorded another case which was also broken. I waited over 90 days to pick up the un-broken tile & it was no longer at the store. I asked for a refund for the un-broken tile, the person at order pick up was very rude, however manager was able to give me store credit afte about 30 min of research. They told me they would "not" order more tile for me to finish the project, however I could drive from Jacksonville to Orlanda since they stock the tile in the store. Next day I drove to St Johns town center store and they explained it was not that they would "not" order the tile, it was that they could not order one case of tile. The tile was leaving the program so they would only be able to get a pallet. This made sense so on 7/1/23 I made the 6 hour round trip to get an additional 2 cases of tile. Fast forward to today 8/5/23, all the tile is up and I did not need those extra 2 cases of tile. I went back the the Jacksonville store on Blanding Blvd to return the 2 cases of tile. At first they refused a refund since it was a spec order..I explained these 2 cases were not a spec order and an in stock item. Then asked if I purchased at this location (they had all the information on the screen) & told them no they were purchased in Orlando at which point the manager told me there would be a 10% restocking fee. To avoid causing a scene I said that was fine. At the end of the day it was a whole $10 I lost, however this is a national company, since this is an item that was not on sale, clearance or spec order there is no reason a re-stocking fee should be charged, There is nothing on the reciept or in line about a fee for anything returned within 90 days. These were two unopened boxs of Breeze Graphite 10x28 tiles. Below is the return policy from their website. The selection here is fantastic and they also have a lot of stuff on sale or clearance. I did feel like some of the associates try to avoid you since a few employees passed us and did not acknowledged our presence. We did manage to get help so that's a positive. A few things to note here. They do hold items for free for 14 days, not sure what the storage or holding fee is after the fact. They also subcontract any work needed so they give you a brochure and you call the number and figure out the measurement, etc. They also allow non-service animals here. We were able to bring our pup in no problem. We are going to have someone come out and do some measurement, more than likely we will be back to buy some granite and hardwood from here. read more

I made a purchase well a couple purchases and I dont need some of the items. I have a Online receipt and was told they are treating my items as a Non Receipt Item because its over 90 days. Im a Travel Nurse and was depending on someone to complete a project so I can list a rental property but the worker vanished. Ive NEVER heard at any store I frequent that a Store Credit couldn't be issued. I will never purchase from them again not to mention the manager was acting like I was a thief until the cashier told him I had a online receipt. Worst customer service and Never again. My husband and I purchased flooring from our local store 2 weeks ago. Went to the store to get additional supplies and the price dropped .50cents a square foot. I went to customer service to get a price adjustment and was told they can't do that! So, I called their customer support and was told they do not do adjustments. Wonders has this place got tile tile and floors galore. You walk into mini displays of bathrooms with all sorts of tile ideas set up like a models runway. After you ohhhhh and awww and oh no ewww, you head over to the tile, unless your looking for flooring, then you go left of the store. I think I saw every color tile here with the exception of neon colors which I am sure they could probably order for you. Porcelain, Marble, Travertine and in all price ranges. If you have a budget they can find a tile that will fit your budget. This store also has a nice selection of tiles in two clearance sections. I actually found enough tile in one of the clearance sections to complete a project that I was looking to do in my house at a bargain price. If you are looking for granite or butcher block counter tops, you can locate those in the back of the store. Now word to the world...this place is huge...picture Home Depot with nothing but tile and flooring huge wear your sneakers. The store is very well lit and there are lots of employees on the floor to assist you. If you want your project to be simple or fancy schmancy you can find your tiles or flooring here. read more

My family had decided to get rid of carpeting in my daughters room. We weren't sure what direction we were going but went here on the recommendation of a friend of mine who is an interior designer. We are very happy that we did. They had a very good selection of laminates and hardwoods to choose from. They had a lot of tile too but we never got to that section because we found what we liked and it was well under our budget. The person who was working suggested getting more than we think we need because they do not always restock the same things and if I need more it might not be there. The return policy is set up to be very easy to return extra materials. I opted out because we are installing it in a few days and they had quite a bit of what we were getting. Even though it states clearly on their receipt and website that they will take product back after 90 days and issue a store credit they refused to do it. I spoken to the manager I've complained to the Better Business Bureau and not getting any satisfaction. I'm not asking for anything special just for them to honor what is on their receipt and website for the return policy. Renovation is a daunting task especially if you are an overworked person. I've heard a lot about Floor & Decors from friends but have never stopped to see what they have. The first time I stopped by I looked at tiles to renovate my bathroom. It was truly overwhelming with so many on display. I asked for help from their manager and he told me about their free design service. I took one of their brochurse and by scanning the QR code I was able to schedule an appointment with their designer. I was very lucky to get an appointment with Ryan on a Saturday morning. Armed with a photo of what I wanted for my bathroom, I met with Ryan. In less than an hour he was able to help me select all the tile & grout I needed for the renovation. He gave me a quote which was also emailed to me. It gave me a chance to think about the design Ryan recommended. Three weeks later, I was back to pay for the tile, I love all the items he recommended. In two weeks, my contractor will pick up the tile and my bathroom renovation will begin. Dont understand the ordering system. We paid at 910am and was told to sit out to wait for our order. Waited til 10am while 2 trucks who came after us got loaded and left. We didnt have a huge order either only 20 boxes of tiles. About the same amount as the 2 trucks prior. They hire incompetent employees like teenagers or people who know absolutely nothing about home Reno and it's quite annoying when that's the whole point of the store. I hate shopping. And shopping for tile, up to this point, had been miserable. I needed four different kinds of tiles for my bathroom remodel and everywhere I went ended up in disappointing. That is until I arrived at Floor and Decor on Saturday. I started just like every other place walking around mindlessly when an associate at Floor and Decor asked me if I needed assistance. For the next hour and a half, he stuck with me, comparing different tiles and laying them out to make sure they matched, even when I had to take a few work calls, he stood there and waited on me, helping other customers with questions too. I had been dreading this for a while but with the staff at Floor & Decor, they made it painless and even helped me load everything in my car. I believe the individual's name that helped me was Zahn. She gave us color coordination advice and proceeded to work with us for a half hour! We got way more assistance than we'd ever get from HD. This place has some really nice stuff. However the customer service is non existent. Employees walk away and past you. No eye contact, or acknowledges that you're a prospect customer. The PRO SERVICES desk people are totally rude, useless, and inconsiderate. They avoid looking at customers by looking at their cellphones while the person stands there waiting. The lady who works there right before closing, which never said she was actually closing... dismissed us without a proper answer to our question.
