I've always loved the At Home store, mainly because during the holidays they have an amazing variety of Christmas and holiday items. I decided to make a trip to Orange Park to look at some home decor items, get some decorating ideas, and just walk around. I arrived and there was a sign that indicated you must wear a mask. They also had some items to sanitize your cart. I took advantage of that and sanitized the cart before placing my little inside it. I walked through the store. There were massive amounts of aisles of home items. From outdoor cushions to fake plants to barstools, there was so much stuff! This place was big enough to social distance, which was nice. We walked around for an hour. I didn't have anything in particular I was looking for during this trip. While I looked at items, I did notice that their prices seemed a tad high, in comparison to other home decor stores. I was disappointed to see they didn't have any holiday items out (i.e. Christmas, but that's to be expected since Christmas was over). If you're looking for the convenience of shopping for almost every room in your home, then this is the store for you. You can get everything from outdoor furniture, fake plants, bathroom cleaning supplies, rugs, and wall decor here. Pros: -Variety of items -Large space to social distance -Taking COVID precautions Cons: -Prices seemed high Tips: If you like browsing, this is the store for you.

I have incredibly mixed feelings about at home. When the store first opened, I was really excited because they have such a great selection of home furnishings. The selection of Decour changes by the season and if you find something you like you should pick it up as soon as you see it because it will probably be gone the next time you come in. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot and the store is large enough where you can browse for quite a long time. now for the issues I have experienced. You need to inspect furniture very carefully before buying it because a lot of it is damaged. They do not say on the floor which pieces are damaged. You just have to look. There are usually very long lines and not many people working. I have had a long line with a manager sitting there, leaning across the counter and not working. Which I find incredibly discouraging, considering it was close to the holidays. He could've easily helped but instead he wanted to sit and talk to people. There were probably 20 people in line and there was no way he didn't see it. I have also had issues in the bathroom. The last time I went they had literally removed the toilet roll dispensers from the bathrooms, so there was no toilet paper for customers to use. At first I thought it was just a stall I was in, so I moved to another one, and that one had literally had the dispenser removed. I do not understand why they even offer restrooms if they are not going to stock them. Overall, I may return, but probably not for a while and only if I get a good coupon or something. However, if lines are long, I would probably put my stuff back and walk out.

    OMG can I live here?

WHERE HAS THIS PLACE BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? Seriously. It's amazing. You must visit this store for any of your home shopping needs. I'm an artist and bought almost my entire booth setup (for art snows and riverside arts market) here. Prices are fair and there is a HUGE selection of everything. The aisles are gigantic and they have a ton of unique products. I guarantee you will find what you need here!

The Good: The variety! Whether shopping for home decor, kitchenware or other essentials, At Home contains a variety of products to suit individual tastes. I will certainly return at collect additional treasures for my new place in JAX. Area for Opportunity: Customer service and treatment by the Manager Gail at your Jacksonville location on Wells Road. Today was my first visit to "At Home" at the recommendation of a local. In fact, I just relocated to Jacksonville in the beginning of this month, August 2019. I signed up online for the "Insider Perks" rewards program on Saturday 08/10/2019, and received a text confirmation. However, I did not receive an email with the coupon, and explained to Gail that it was not in my spam/junk folders either, and even showed her the text confirmation from Saturday. When asking Gail what happens in these instances, she replied there was nothing that could be done to help, and pretty much dismissed me. I found the experience rather disconcerting for several reasons: * Despite showing Gail that I signed up for the "Insider Perks" program on Saturday, she did not attempt to assist me at all. I had to take the initiative to find someone else for help. * With full understanding that everyone does not behave with integrity, it would have been a simple task to verify that it was my first time shopping there. * As a manager, I felt that Gail did not set a proper example to her team on customer care, and taking reasonable steps to ensure continued loyalty. * Gail's treatment of me reflected poorly on the store's brand. On a higher note, I sought assistance at a different register, operated by Jeremy. He was extremely helpful, advising me of all of the options available to receive a discount. With this associate, it was discovered that I was eligible for either a first time shopper, military, or a discount via credit card signup. I utilized one of those available options and completed the purchase. Jeremy turned an otherwise awkward checkout experience into a positive one!

Feeling the holiday cheer in here!

If you have a hour or so you can get lost in here. The Holidays especially. You never know what inventory they have till you look around. I usually go in at Christmas time because it is engulfed in trees and lights and blow ups. They have some unusal items you dont see in other stores sometimes. They have a great assortment for your yard as in furniure or decorations. They have clearance one in a while but its search for the sticker and I havent located much yet.

Who knew such a wonderful store exsisted. I'm sure if you can't find it anywhere else you're more than likely able to find it here. Walking in we were greeted by a wonderful associate and decided to start our journey from the far right and work our way to the opposite end. I was so amazed at the variety of stuff they had and I'm here to tell you that the store was absolutely huge. I'm sure my friend and I lost track of time because we went in and it was daylight and by the time we came out the sun had already set. Some of the items that they have on display are very unique and would definitely go nicely in any home. We eventually decided to have a look at their lamp section as well as the rugs they had available. Every now and then we would find ourselves off course but the store was very fun to explore. Our time was well spent here and I'm not opposed to going back to further explore.

Miss Pat chooses the individual table settings from her vast collection and every place was beautiful. The menu is "set" but they were so nice and accommodated my onion allergy, sometimes by making me a separate dish! This was wonderful! We ate everything that was served with great enjoyment! Miss Pat explained everything as the courses were served--a bit of history and descriptions. I don't think a crumb was left! Then, of course, we took advantage of the many gifts in the shop. Most of us found at least one item to purchase, either for ourselves or for someone special. You cannot go wrong!!!I also purchased my favorite Muffaletta mix because it has no onions in it! Delicious on any type of meat sandwich, or spread on pizza. Thank you to Miss Pat!! (Better hurry and go, though, because this will be her last winter holidays with the shop--she's retiring!!)

I've always wanted to go to a tearoom and on my birthday this year, decided to try this place out…read more My husband and two other friends joined us and we did not know what to expect walking in. Parking lot is a bit rough as it's not paved but it's fine, there's room for parking. Upon walking in, we were surprised and delighted on how cute this tea room was! There were a lot of trinkets, adorned ornaments, teas, gifts, etc. around the store. We scheduled for noon on a Tuesday and only waited about 5 minutes until we were whisked away to our table. The table set up itself was so delicate, beautiful, and I felt that I should be dressed up like I was going to the Kentucky derby haha. The tea room was clean, bright, and I loved how the area is a little private. We sat down and Ms. Pat helped us right away! Ms. Pat was so pleasant, sweet, and explained all the courses and what we're having. We had the following: Pot of tea: I believe it was an English black tea with some milk and raw brown sugar. You know a tearoom is legit when they have sugar cubes and and cream in a fancy container. I was so wowed the delicate set up of the table. I truly felt like I was having afternoon tea with a member of the royal family. I enjoyed this tea's flavor and Ms. Pat came around and refilled our teacups on a timely basis. I added some cream and two sugar cubes and it was delightful. The tearoom experience comes with 6 courses *with x/10 ratings: 1st Course--Strawberry cold soup, fresh fruit, and jalapeno honey. Ms. Pat told us to pour the jalapeno honey on the fresh fruit for an explosion of flavor. She said the jalapeno honey works really well with the fresh fruit. She was not kidding! That combination might seem weird but it worked perfectly with the acidity of the fruit mixed with the sweetness/spiciness from the jalapeno and honey. The strawberry cold soup was also very fruity, fresh, and light. It reminded me of eating freshly pureed strawberries with yogurt! The fruits ((berries and pineapple) were also fresh and you could tell in each bite. We also had some pita dippers with some brie/jam! The brie combined with the jelly on top of the pita chip, was one of the best bites ever! 9/10 for sure! 2nd Course - Veggie tray. It consisted of fresh heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, and carrots with a side of homemaker buttermilk ranch. the veggies were fresh as well and I felt each snap or crunch every time I took a bite of a veggie. The ranch was good too! It went so well with the veggies. . 7/10 3rd Course - Ms. Pat likes to call this course a spinoff on "Fish and Chips". We had homemade kettle chips to go along with a curried fish dip and peach salsa. The chips were crunchy, crispy, and flavorful and the dip and salsa went extremely well the chips. No complaints here! The real show as the fish dip and we found ourselves wanting more of it. Then came the deviled eggs. They were so creamy, flavorful, and soft. I wanted to take the whole tray with me!! I love eggs and here, they know how to do their deviled eggs! I would come back just for the eggs haha 8.5/10 4th Course - Fancy Assortment of Tea Sandwiches: Lettuce sandwich with pickled veggies, cucumber sandwiches, pumpkin-butter & sliced apple on pecan-dipped cinnamon-raisin bread, and some chicken salad cups. The sandwiches blew my mind away! The sandwiches were small but packed a huge flavor! I love how the crusts were cut off too! 8.5/10 5th Course - Scones, the scones are warm, fresh, and came with a cream. It was so good!!! The scone melted in my mouth! it was probably one of the softest and fluffiest scones I've ever had. When you combined the cream on top oft he scone, it elevated the fruits in the scones some more. The scone was blueberry one I believe. 8/10 6th Course - Then came the dessert tarts, dark chocolate covered strawberries, nuts, and some type of petit four dessert. We were pretty full by then (can you believe it haha?) but agreed that the desserts were divine. The dark chocolate covered strawberry was so fresh and I love that they used dark chocolate so it wasn't too sweet. Chocolate and fruit always work so well together! 8.5/10 Overall, I would come here again probably only for a special occasion or here and there. It's a little pricier at $44 a person (but so worth the experience!) and keep in mind that they do charge an extra $20 if you add a birthday cake for the occasion. The cake was so beautiful and I loved that Ms. Pat even celebrated with us! Overall, such a wonderful and pleasant experience with Ms. Pat and we hope to come back again!!!
