Everything went mostly according to plan (thanks COVID) and really we only had a few time setbacks due to that. Just a day or 2! The people he sent to do the work were totally competent and easy to get along with. Showed up early and stayed late. Most surprisingly was that there was zero mess. I was still given a functioning kitchen every night. The job they did was beautiful and the end result was better than I even thought it would be. They removed old tile, put up new that they helped me choose, did those gorgeous wood shelves and repainted all our cabinets. Gave us new hardware and kept everything spotless while they worked. When I had a small issue they came out that day and fixed it, and then went on to do the same minor fix on every drawer! We were super impressed. I can't recommend them highly enough. All the cabinets fit perfectly, the moldings were exactly the right size and closed the space right to the ceiling. Our appliances fit exactly right. Nothing really went wrong! AW Custom Kitchens recently installed cabinets through out our condo. They assembled quality…read morecabinets on site which resulted in precision work. No kitchen is perfectly square which can result in odd gaps when installing pre fabricated cabinets. A first design assumed (based on another contractor's judgement) that a wall was not load bearing and could be removed. The entire design had to be reworked when it was discovered during demolition that the wall was indeed load bearing. Alan reworked the design very quickly and kept the cabinet order on schedule even though the design was dramatically different and actually incorporated a small laundry room which we are thrilled about. The design involved wrapping a beverage center around a corner which was executed perfectly. We are looking forward to using our new kitchen.

We went from a small, weirdly placed island to a 10' island in the kitchen without moving any walls. Plus, the placement of appliances and spacing is perfect. They were straightforward about the pros and cons of all of the cabinetry options they offered. Some offer more "customized" features and some are more basic. They were very clear about price and timing differences and there was never any pressure to chose a more expensive option. We chose a non-custom option and are delighted with the outcome.
