Here's why: * The staff is knowledgeable, professional, very helpful, responsive and a pleasure to work with, including the designer, office staff, the foreman and the crew. * It was very clear that everyone listed above was enthusiastic about quality, workmanship and excellence. They wanted us to LOVE our kitchen, and we do! * When Kelley (the designer) told us we would have a working kitchen in 2 weeks, I didn't believe her. BUT, they got it done! * Kelley did a great deal of research to find a cabinet company that would meet our needs (including a custom color), as well as inserts. She made wonderful suggestions that really added to the project. * The foreman Jack coordinated all of the work seamlessly. This included his crew, the electrician, the plumber and the countertop fabricator/installer. He gave me his cell phone number in case I had any issues or questions, and always responded immediately. Jack's expertise was very apparent - he proposed several excellent ideas that worked out perfectly. * Severyn and Carlos (the crew) were very pleasant and professional. They showed up exactly when promised, worked hard all day, and got it done! * Any renovation has some issues - ours were minor, and the team ensured that they were corrected immediately and meticulously, with no pushback whatsoever. I would recommend Empire Kitchen & Bath to anyone.

I will update this review in several months- when I finally get my countertops installed. But for…read morenow, I wanted to give a review of my experience so far. We went by Granite Depot yesterday to look at their selection to see if we could find a slab we liked. We had browsed another countertop company and knew what style/colors we were looking for. This company works with the cabinet company we went with- L&T Kitchen and Bath. 1. You should know- they do not sell to the public- period 2. You must be working with a fabricator, installer. As I mentioned- we are working with L&T and this is who they use for countertops 3. They have been in business for over 20 years 4. They are one of the largest supplier in the Southeast 5. They hand select all of their inventory We went into the office first and waited our turn with the lovely woman at the counter. She provided us a map of the facility and explained the key- color coded per material, when you found something you liked you could look on the ground in front of the slab and find a letter and number that would coordinate with the map and see what material it is. We wanted Quartz/quartzite. Ironically- that is what we consistently picked. Based on the other place we had went to- we knew there was levels, meaning each level was a different price range. Now- this place does not give you prices. Period- but they did tell us what was level one (I didn't want any of level one) and let us know which ones on our sheet that we picked were lowest and highest. Pricing comes from your fabricator/installer. We picked 2 to price compare. One of the lower and one of the highest (making a nervous face as I typed that). John found one of the highest priced ones to pick! Now we are just waiting for L&T to give us the quotes. This place has a huge selection to browse, the office staff was helpful and very nice. I hope to pick on of the countertops soon!!!

Seriously??? Yup! I have stopped basically anywhere that sells slabs and I am told the same thing each time. I can't just buy a 3x4 piece - I need to get a middle man who will then get me a fabricator. What a load! Sounds like a shakedown to me and I don't like anyone in my pockets without permission. What a little monopoly style situation.

I was recommended to come here by a friend. Apparently they have good prices on their "clearance"…read moreor "overstock" cabinets. I've been looking for cabinets for my laundry room for about 2 weeks now. I didn't need anything "fancy" or too pricey as they'd just be holding my laundry soap. I called a few days ago and was told to come in to take a look. I live 30 minutes from the warehouse and went ahead and drove there. I had my child with me (who was in a small stroller) when I arrived, Robert already acted like I was an inconvenience to him. I told him what I was looking for and asked him if I could go to the back and look at them. He said "everything is in boxes and it's hard to move a stroller around out there" .. I was very confused because my friend who just got cabinets from them 2 weeks prior brought her child who was also in a stroller and got to look at options. Robert was VERY confusing and was all over the place when explaining the different sizes and prices of what was available and not. When I told him I wanted 30x15 but 36x15 white cabinets would work as well, he said they had them and then 2 seconds later would say they didn't.. this was said 3 different times. At this point I was over it and no longer wanted to go back and forth of what "might have" been in stock so I left. I called today, not too long ago to see if I could get someone else to help me and see what they had in stock. Terry answered the phone and when I told him was I was looking for, he said I'd have to "come in and look". Mind you, Robert said everything was in boxes and "a stroller wouldn't fit well" so when I began telling him this and that I didn't want to deal with Robert again, he cut me off and said they only had white shaker cabinets. I told him what size I was looking for & again, in the middle of me saying what size, I'm cut off again by him "no, we don't have 36x15" now I'm frustrated at this point cus this is the second time in 30 seconds I'm being cut off and the second rude person I've dealt with at this place. I said "well if I wasn't cut off, you'd know I was looking for "30x15, but ok thanks" and I proceeded to hang up. Basically, these people treat you like you're an inconvenience to DO THEIR JOBS & are very confusing and rude. I'll be taking myself to home depot and spending a little more for better service. I DO NOT recommend this place.

I was referred by several contractor friends who have been using this company for years in their various projects. While I did not end up choosing this company for my cabinets, counters, and hardware needs, I found everyone that I encountered greeted me sincerely and all were helpful. The sales guy I primarily spoke with was very helpful and patient, and showed me the differences in the cabinets they offered. He even drew up plans at no charge, based on my rough measurements and gave me a price for the cabinet portion of my project. They only offer laminated counters, and I really wanted to go with either granite or quartz, and that was the primary reason I ultimately did not choose this company - for my situation, I felt I really needed a single source for all product and installs. That being said, I found their high end cabinets to be a fine quality and very comparable to other places in town. Their install and overall pricing was very competitive, too. Even though I chose to go elsewhere for my purchase, based on my experience with the people, the quality products, and the fair pricing, I definitely recommend you check them out!
