These strips were too narrow to fill the gap left between the two floors. Jim said that he would reorder in more transition strips. He told us would get back to us and come out to ensure these strips would work - that was in September. Jim did not get back to us, I had to contact him. Here we sit, the floor still is not completed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this business! It is by far the worst follow-up and communications I have ever encountered from a business owner!

He responded quickly with a reasonable estimate, so we moved forward with both projects. In the bathroom, he removed a bathtub and replaced with a walk in shower. He had to move the drain and demo the existing tile and walls. He replaced walls and tiled the walls inside the shower floor to ceiling. On my request, he also added an accent tall niche styled with a waterfall accent tile. His work is excellent and very precise. He strives for perfection. It turned out beautiful! We are thrilled with the result! He also tiled over the pavers on our lanai by adding a thin coating of concrete to level the area and then tiled the floor. It makes such a difference in the look and feel of the room, which now looks more like an extension of the house, rather than an outdoor space. We love our new updated spaces. I would definitely recommend Vander for tiling work and I would use his services in the future if needed. He is very professional, considerate, consistent in timing, attendance and he cleans up at the end of each work day. He is also very pleasant and accommodating to work with.
