Since we would have to take out most of the tile, we thought we would redo the entire shower. While walking through the Bel-Air shopping plaza, we came across a showroom for CNY. They do kitchen and bathroom renovations so we walked in. We met Ray and Anneliese and immediately felt very comfortable to work with this company. My wife and I sat down with the team and chose all of the items to be added to the shower after Ray came out to take measurements. The final price came in at $15,000 and a quarter of that was put down to start the project. Once all the specialty items were ordered and in the project started. Victor started with demolition and finished at the installation of the tile. He was amazing and very nice and respectful. Did a great job not making a mess as demo tends to do. Next came Cory who finished the job and was also very polite and did a fabulous job. Our guests now have a new shower to enjoy with the latest upgrades and a spa look.

There were a few little projects that we could DIY and then there were these cabinets. GAH! The color! The doors! They were so dated and didn't match the rest of our home at all. I called several businesses who weren't interested in such a small job and then called several handymen who didn't know how to fabricate something from scratch. That is when I was fortunate enough to run across Walton Home Improvements on Yelp! In the very few photos posted, I saw something similar to what I was hoping for! Ron did an amazing job and was incredibly professional. He clearly knows his craft. After listening to my ideas and adding his own creative suggestions, he went to work! He was quick and efficient and quite reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone and even gave his name to our realtor, who frequently has clients needing tricky repairs. Excellent service. According to the installers, in April, Jim ordered the wrong transition strips to go between the LVP flooring and the ceramic tile. Jim reordered more transition strips. These strips were too narrow to fill the gap left between the two floors. Jim said that he would reorder in more transition strips. He told us would get back to us and come out to ensure these strips would work - that was in September. Jim did not get back to us, I had to contact him. Here we sit, the floor still is not completed. I cannot in good conscience recommend this business! It is by far the worst follow-up and communications I have ever encountered from a business owner!

The manager that I dealt with started out fine but by the end he was horrible. Their installers…read moredid a great job installing the floor planks but their finish work on installing the thresholds and quarter-round molding was terrible. They cracked my baseboards in two places. Cut away some baseboards around one closet and cut them way too short...looks horrible!! Several places where the quarter-round was cut either too short or too long. The baseboards were really banged up when they finally finished....have to re-paint the baseboards. Also, the installers only worked 4 to 5 hours a day......took them 7 days to do 1,000 square feet of LVP. NEVER USE MCALISTER FLOORING AGAIN...........!!!!!!!!!!!
