Well...it's a Home Depot! We all have our thoughts and experiences with one, so what can I…read morepossibly add? Well, this Home Depot is definitely out of the way for us and there are 3 or 4 other stores much closer to us for sure...but we chose to go to this one. The reason why was because everything we needed was in stock. That may seem crazy, but if you need stuff "now" you don't want to wait until it's delivered or in stock...this place was literally one-stop shopping. Plus, since the town of Palatka is somewhat small, they weren't crazy busy. The staff was friendly and I didn't have to look far to find someone for help. Help wasn't needed on this day, but it was still pretty impressive compared to the norm at other stores. The store was very clean and tidy as well. Plus, we walked right up to the cashier without a wait! The drive over was worth it... Note: If you don't know, you can look for items online and can see what is in stock at a store and how many they have. You don't even need to call! Not only that, but it will tell you exactly where to find it in the store by isle and bin...easy peasy!

After 15 more minutes I called the front desk again and she said apparently they didn't have anybody to open a register. I asked for the manager and got the voice of a middle aged woman who informed me that they just don't have anyone. When I complained about the excess wait time to check out, she yelled a few words back to me and hung up on me. This is all true. I really need to shop at Home Depot more because I have never ever had the bad customer service that I get at Lowe's.
