Josh was SO patient with me, even though it was a busy Friday! I didn't know all the details I needed, but he calmly walked me through the process to purchase exactly what I needed. We have been using Clarks for years. never a problem. They are always our first call.

the process itself is ok. They are comparable to other stores. The delivery leave a lot to be desired.I got a microwave. The youngman who came was cocky. I had a small crack on the stove top . He set the old microwave on top on the stop top and made the cook top unusable by caving in the top where is was usable before. He even said " not the smartest move I guess" So I had to get a new stove. I requested sliders so the wood floor would not be scratch. Possible rear filler kit. I was told I was making it too complicated. They did end up leaving a big scratch on the floor and there is a gap between the back wall and the stove. The same cocky confrontational young man said the scratch was the old stove. Not the stove its the men moving it. They really were in a hurry to go on to the next delivery and did not want to address my concerns at all. Thier only redeeming quality was they spoke englixsh. read more

Our sales person, Josh, was courteous, very knowledgeable and took the extra time and effort explaining the new Bosch dishwasher models and new Speed Queen models. These folks were great. Very knowledgeable and didn't try to upsell us. The will delivery and install the appliance if you wish and the quality of the installation and delivery was first rate. Our initial dishwasher wasn't delivered to their warehouse but they worked to find a replacement and stayed on top of getting us our dishwasher in a timely manner. We just moved into our new house after renting for three years. We already had an upright freezer but needed a backup refrigerator only (without freezer) to store food in the garage since my husband is a corporate chef and lives to play with food. After looking in the usual big box suspects it was evident that no one would have delivery until October. Many manufacturers do not make anything but refrigerator/freezers combinations. My husband found this locally owned shop online that had a garage refrigerator in stock, on sale and could be delivered free after Memorial Day! Game on! We had the owner, Don Clark, write up the order after a brief discussion of the warranty, foot pedal opening feature and casters. Built-in microwave ended up costing almost 700.00 with all their add-ons. Installation "kid" was disrespectful, constantly calling the elderly lady of the house, "sweetheart" (which she did NOT like) and played his radio for 1-1/2 hrs without asking permission. Folks were too intimidated to ask him to turn off. Cancelled other appliances because it took 3 months to get the one. Will never use them again and will not refer them. This job was a referral but could not be more wrong about this company. They were late, kept putting off delivery time and never followed through. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

Bought dishwasher there 5 years ago, as snowbirds, it has only had about 2 yrs normal use, circuit board failed, so, went back for better model, which cost about 30% more than same unit at HD, bought anyway. It worked once, then would not turn on, all wiring is correct, went to store to get it uninstalled, clerk was insulting, rude, would not back the merchandise. Tech uninstalled it, but did not plug the drain hole in disposal, we washed some dishes by hand, flooded our cabinet and floor. These people are terrible, had to wait long time as both clerks were taking complaints from others. Go big box, small appliance stores have lost their advantage. read more

We visited and found that would take awhile to get units. We went home and measured areas, found models we liked. Then sent info to the email we were given. After a week no response. Sent again and another week passed. Finally as a last chance, sent to email shown on web site. Now 4 days and no response. Either out of business or dont want to sell very bad. I always try to buy local rather than big box stores, but that definitely backfired on me in this case. I had a dishwasher installed, with installed meaning it was pushed into place. Because of a suspected electrical issue, the installer left me with a $600 paperweight. I called to ask for my old top-quality dishwasher back, offering to pay a restocking fee and a second delivery fee, but no response. I addressed my concerns in writing and received this response: "Why wouldnt you ask for jason to leave old dishwasher if you found out after we installed new unit you had an electrical issue ? all of this sounds weird and i will address it with jason tomorrow ." Guess what? Never heard back. Attempted to contact in writing and via telephone again... no response. Long story short, if you have any sort of problem, don't expect anything but defensiveness and then radio silence. read more

I replaced appliances in a home before selling it. Since I was on a budget, I compared prices for the appliance line I liked (GE Slate). I was surprised to find that this local, small business appliance store beat Home Depot & other big box store's deals by several hundred dollars. Not only that, but installation was included! The installers were GREAT, being extremely kind about returning later (without charge) when we ran into a water line issue & weren't ready for them. I purchased almost $5,000 worth of appliances from this store because I wanted to buy local and was told by their salesman they honored their products with service. Hah! The delivery guys didn't even try to help my husband put the very expensive range in because there was a difficulty with an existing backsplash. They left the stove in the middle of the kitchen floor and said they'd be back later or they'd send their installer. When my husband called to see when they were coming, we were told that's not our responsibility, unwrap it yourself. After my husband expressed his frustration, he was told, "you've got a bad attitude. " So much for customer service. I will never buy another appliance from this store again and I recommend you don't either, unless you want the same mistreatment. read more

We bought all new appliances for our condo from Clarks. The refrigerator we received was defective. Under the warranty, the refrigerator was repaired 4 times. Clarks help us with the warranty company and we received a new refrigerator. They were wonderful especially Daniel. I would certainly buy from them again. read more

Speed Queen Washer and Dryer are the best I have ever owned, they are from Clark Appliances and are 3 years old. No problems until recently I washed a pillow that burst and caused a problem that was fixed with a simple service call from DeBow's Appliance Service. This washer and dryer are great. read more

I just replaced all my appliances in 2015 (refrig., stove, dishwasher) from clarks . The people are rude and very uncaring after they get paid. It took over 2 weeks and 3 refrigerators (dimensions) before I had to settle with one I really didn't want after being told "next time to take my business some were else". The dishwasher I purchased has broken only 1 week after warranty expired all I got was "THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM' . I would not buy anything from these people again if every appliance I have goes out and their were the only appliance store in the country. I would suggest that if you need an appliance go any where to avoid dealing with this pathetic and incompetent company. read more
