I wish I could give this zero stars. I spent over $2000 to purchase a washer and dryer over 3 weeks…read moreago and the dryer still does not work. The delivery person dropped off the W/D and left before testing the dryer. Sensor system on dryer does not and has not ever worked. I made multiple calls and got jerked around. I am not having to speak to virtually non-English speaking tech support that is telling me the earliest they can look at the dryer is 7 business days. If you want a decent product and support, do NOT purchase here!

Contacted BB&B for an RMA which they issued and was told they would deduct the return shipping charge from my return. I agreed to their terms and returned the sheets. However, when I received my refund it was only $18, I had paid $71, that was quite a charge for return S&H. I had shopped at BB&B all my adult life until they closed all retail stores, was always a great place to shop. But my first purchase through their mail order business has been a disgusting experience. I will never purchase from BB&B again and strongly urge everyone to avoid buying from this mail order business as their customer service is terrible.

I asked an employee where something was and they walked me to it, but when we got there the employee said, wait this is not what you are looking for and then told me the store is not the best organized. I thought it was interesting hearing that from an employee. But overall we found what I was looking for and it works great! I have used it a ton now! I would recommend this place! I purchased what was supposed to be a "deal of a lifetime"--a 2006 Dixie Chopper for $3,000 out the door. It had a new motor and seemed like a great buy at first. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disaster. The owner, Gary, presents himself as the nicest guy, but it's all an act. Be cautious--he'll say anything to make a sale. Always get everything in writing because if you don't, you'll end up paying far more than you expect. In my case, I was misled into paying for repairs on issues that should have been addressed before the mower was sold. Here's my story: Gary made grandiose claims about the mower, saying things like, "This mower retails for over $16,000,"(I've had it listed on FB Marketplace for $3900 for months now and no bites, and there are several newer models on there for less money). "You'll never ride a better mower," and "You'll be overjoyed with this machine." Excited, we bought it, but my excitement quickly faded. * Day one: I turned on the blades and immediately noticed a loud, harsh vibration. Upon inspection, I found the spindles were rusted out (I have photos to prove it added below). * Day two: The mower wouldn't start. The shop came to pick it up, but even they struggled to get it running. Weeks passed while they claimed to be troubleshooting a wiring issue. They eventually installed a relay switch. * I also reported the spindle problem, but Gary brushed it off as "just surface rust" and said they had already been inspected. After pressing him, I offered to buy new spindles myself for $150. Gary assured me they'd handle it. A week later, he admitted one or more spindles was completely destroyed and it's good thing they replaced them. (See pics of before and after below, you can barely tell which is which). Repairs dragged on for weeks. Every time I called, there was a new issue: belts, pulleys, you name it. When they finally delivered the mower back to me, I assumed the repairs were covered given that I had received no quote and had purchased a mower they claimed was in good condition. Imagine my shock when I got a voicemail a month later from Gary saying I owed $935! They never provided an estimate, never sought my approval for repairs, never gave me an itemized receipt, and were clearly charging me for problems they should have resolved before selling the mower. When I asked for a refund, Gary claimed they didn't have the money but offered to sell the mower on their lot. After months of no progress, I confronted him. Suddenly, he claimed he had given me a quote (he hadn't) and that the $935 was for spindles and labor-- see pictures below also, obviously he put used spindles on it and charged as much as he could. To make matters worse, he told me he had a buyer lined up for $6,200 but would only give me $3,000 of it. Frustrated, I had to let him charge my card just to retrieve my mower, fearing he'd sell it to someone else out of spite. When I asked AGAIN for an itemized receipt, he provided me with a piece of paper that had clearly been hand written right then (no invoice). Even more interesting is it's now been a week since and magically he hasn't called with the "interested buyers" information. This shop is beyond unprofessional. They sold me a broken mower, mishandled repairs, charged me without consent, and failed to take responsibility for their mistakes. Avoid this place at all costs! If you go make sure it is in writing before you give them anything, with prices confirmed and agreed upon.

I have never had issues in Gainesville with my seeing-eye dog entering any local establishment, from places as banal as Publix, post offices, and other restaurants (fastfood to gourmet) to institutions as formal and manicured as the Harn Museum of Art, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, the Phillips Center of the Performing Arts, Smather's Library West, and the University of Florida Auditorium. Talking Walls ridiculously claimed they have "valuable works of art" and could not allow the dog to enter; Talking Walls of Gainesville must have some art the Getty Museum would envy, seeing that even the Getty in LA allows Fyshstyx to enter. The owner (or potentially worker) of Talking Walls had no basis to bar my entry, especially since 1) I AM ALLOWED BY LAW, 2) Fyshstyx was behaving perfectly, and 3) I explained the Americans with Disabilities Act laws under Title II and III that disallow a prohibition of necessary, trained, mobility assistance service animals from publicly accessible places of business (see more info on these laws below). The owners still would not let me enter their stores. I have filed a complaint with our local City of Gainesville Office of Equity & Inclusion and the Florida Division of Blind Services. I don't know if any Gainesvillians frequent this establishment, but know that they ardently wish to flout ADA regulations and disallow entry to the handicapped even when presented with the Federal legal codes. Went to get paint and rent a pressure washer. It was like a 'boys only' club. I walked in with immediate prejudice of 'what's a girl doing in here (eye rolls)'. I got my paint and Bill helped me with a pressure washer, gave me instructions that I filmed to have for when I got home. By the way, their pressure washers are extremely used, harshly. I got all that I needed and was out of there by 8:30am, got home, worked a full day, then got to start my home project at 3pm on a Friday. I opened the video made sure to follow all the instructions, however, when I attached my garden hose to the machine, the attachment was lose and had a makeshift spring that would not catch and tighten. I called Gator Paint, was instructed that I 'just needed to tighten it with a wrench'. I have done several home projects, fixed my own car, assembled a ton of furniture, THIS simple tightening method was impossible. I took the machine back in hopes of getting a replacement or someone to help me tighten the attachement. I get back to Gator Paint at 4pm, an old, overweight, man with a WALKING BOOT, finally got off his seat to "help me", he did not, told me I needed to tighten the attachment again. I expressed that I couldn't and I had tried. His immediate response was to get me a refund. Told me it was user error, refused to give me an exchange when there were 2 additional machines, did not want to show me how to tighten the machine I was renting when I gladly offer to take the machine back once he showed me such a simple tightening solution. I asked to schedule a different rental and he refused, said I would have the same issue and wanted to just issue my refund. I HOPE YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS!
