I swore I already posted my review! We have been renovating our home for 3 years now, which was not our original plan when we purchased our house. As we repair one thing, another opportunity/ disaster presents itself. Hubs was able to repair most of the beautiful hardwood floors that were ruined by previous owners but half of our home needed new flooring. Since we live in Ocala, we decided to use Floor & Decor as the option and chose to order online & delivery our first experience. We need countertops for our new kitchen so I suggested to hubs to travel up to the store so we can shop in person and browse options. We also want to weight out price options between different stores. We arrived in the early evening and it was not busy. As soon as we were about to enter the store, we were greeted very enthusiastically by an employee. It was so nice and welcoming. This store is massive! We decided to walk around the entire store since it was our first time here. I was surprised of the imbalance of product genres. Eventually, we located where the countertops were and it was the smallest section of this warehouse size store. Once we located the countertop section, we found very limited options but decided to pull samples together. There are areas where you can put samples together and see how everything looks. After we did that, we decided to leave. Upon walking out, an employee who was working the designing desk offered his card and informed us the services Floor & Decor provides, including someone coming to the home and assisting in ordering, designing, and providing estimates. Today I needed many supplies and Harley greeted me kindly, professionally and appropriately. He worked hard and was patient when I had an important (yet short) phone call or could not find a specific sample. What a fine young man! Great customer service. I actually had to come back later for something else and Sergio, at the Pro Desk, was also magnificent. Love this place. read more

I had such a great shopping experience at this store. Unlike some other locations, where employees try to hide from you, I had an employee approach me to offer help. His name was Harley and he was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. He even took me to another section and showed my some recommendations to compliment the shower tile I had decided on. After my cart got heavy, he even assisted me to my car. This store is great for getting ideas and seeing a lot of options. We were looking for LVP floors. Picked out a beautiful product. But Floor and Decor told us they had installers that could serve Ocala... unfortunately they did not Have any installers who serve Ocala... Had to go with a different company. read more

Giving 2 stars for could have been better. The Gainesville store is very clean and well organized, nice selection of tile and flooring and other products, and the designers and associates are friendly and knowledgable. Advice: From an experience i had with this store's installer, beware of hiring an installer who hangs out in the store or is recommended by the store's employees. Installations Made Easy has pamphlets in the store, it says that they provide qualified installers. They charge 15% for this service which would be fine if they lived up to their promises. One of these "installers" hangs out in the store. Before writing a check to this installer, or any of their recommended installers, look at -Installations Made Easy, LLC- Better Business Bureau's rating and check the installer's reviews on YELP also. read more

If it wasn't for Kyla I would have canceled my whole house order. She was very helpful and took the time to help me figure many options. .... Unlike the assistant store managers who were just full of excuses as to why they couldn't honor a price that was quote the day before. One was VERY rude and talked over me the entire conversation. I nearly walked out when Kyla recognized their behavior, apologized and did their job. Management should step back and take a look at who they have put in charge of the their stores. read more

Ask for Landon. He helped us at the Gainesviile, FL store. He went above and beyond, was knowledgeable and assisted us in putting together an estimate and order for our shower tile job, from the smallest to the biggest items, and from every department. Shopping list was prepared by Installation Services and Coastline Custom Floors LLC. Landon was able to suspend our order for a week, and then we purchased and picked it all up at the end of the week. My husband and I spent 2 hours at Floor & Decor in Gainesville yesterday and were extremely pleased in every way. We are redoing our guest shower and needed lots of supplies, advice and expertise. The store manager on duty paired us with Brian Craig, who stayed with us for our entire shopping expedition. He steered us toward some new innovations, helped us find the tile and trim we'd selected months before (still in stock!) and patiently stood by as we debated (numerous) options. He encouraged us to check everything we bought, to make sure nothing was cracked or marred in any way. He answered every question (and there were many) and he addressed each concern with concern and empathy. It's a hard thing to tackle a home project of this magnitude on your own, but he gave us reason to believe in ourselves. Upon checkout, my husband noted our shower tile was now discontinued and would the store be willing to give us a discount on it for that reason? A manager was consulted, and Yes! About $130 was knocked off our final price. We spent $1600 yesterday and are thrilled with our experience. Once we checked out, no less than four employees helped load our truck up with the products we'd purchased. We went back inside to shake everyone's hand because we felt we had received truly special customer service. read more

We ordered a lot of tile for our new home construction - for the bathrooms and the kitchen. At first, they said the the tile would be delivered on the 22nd. After we came back for more tile, they promised a delivery date of the 17th. At least 3 people, including the manager on the floor (whose name I won't mention), made this promise. We were elated, and we immediately notified our tile man. Well, today's December 17th and the tile didn't come. I called the store and another manager named Byron said that his paperwork shows December 22nd for the delivery date. Since they only deliver on Tuesdays and Thursdays via a third party, we're stuck - and the tile man is stuck, too. So, here's my advice to you would-be customers of Floor and Decor: Get that delivery date in writing. All they give you when you leave the store is a receipt, with no delivery date mentioned. Don't be fooled by false promises. read more

Ms. Jaime Albertson is a designer specialist who was incredibly helpful with our bathroom renovations. She came up with ideas and suggestions that fit our budget and needs. She was able to coordinate this as an out of state order. Very thankful for her professional help. She also wore a mask through out our visit. read more

Our first visit to Gainesville Floor & Decor today (normally we travel to Sandford) and it's will not be our last! Incredible tiles and just a beautiful showcase of wall to wall tiles, shower doors! But what made this much more than a shopping trip for tile was the OUTSTANDING customer service! Jamie met us at the door, asked a few questions on what we were looking for and walked & shopped with us! She has such an incredible design eye! Pure talent! And Royce was just as helpful, walked with us, loaded and pushed the cart. Do not hesitate to make this your go-to for your next project. You will be extremely tickled that you did! I went in to replace my son's room with wood. Spoke with a really nice gentlman and bought a sample. I decided it was too lite next to the tile in the hall way and went back about an hour later with my other son. The nice gentleman was gone for the day and I ended up with the car sales man. He treated me like I was too poor to be in that store. Tried to railroad me away from wood into laminate. Then tried to over sell me the wood I was looking at by about 4 boxes. I did not make a purchase and I returned the sample piece I bought. Needless to say if my money isn't good enough for that store I am ok with it. They Re not the only flooring store in Gainesville and I will not be back. read more
