This review is long overdue! We had carpet installed by Carpet In over a year ago, and I'm still so happy with the entire experience. From start to finish, the process was incredibly easy. Thomas was very knowledgeable and helped us choose a great quality carpet. He also let us take home samples, which made it much easier to narrow down the right color. I was more than impressed with the pricing, so much so that I found myself wondering why I had waited so long to replace our carpet. I honestly wish I had done it sooner! The installation crew was great, too. We had a somewhat unusual installation because they needed to use the new carpet to help fix issues with our vinyl plank flooring, which had been installed incorrectly by a different company before we bought the house. The Carpet In installers were able to use the carpet to secure the vinyl and keep it from shifting so much, making it safer for our toddler. Overall, I can't recommend Carpet In enough! read more

After finally landing on a wood floor color, the process was quick. We relocated most of the house into the garage and scheduled the work. The crew was polite and efficient and took only four days (4!!!!) to remove all of the tiles, skim-coat the slab to make it level, and lay the new floor and baseboards. We found Carpet In online. We knew nothing about them, good or bad, when we went to their store in Corona. Thomas was helpful, and clued us in on various options for carpets, pads etc. We bought a pattern that had to be ordered. During the lead time Thomas called us to keep us up to date on the delivery status. On the day of installation David called to let me know his arrival time, and that he would be about 20 min late. Most places give a 4 hour time-window; he was concerned that he would be 20 min overdue. The installation took longer than I anticipated, but that was mostly because David took great pains to get the pattern centered and stretched properly. The carpet is great and we are very happy with it. Their customer service was well above what passes for normal these days. Their installer did an excellent job. read more

I had the carpet replaced in my house last year and within a month or two I started noticing some discoloration. At first, I thought it was the way the sunlight came through the windows, but now it's getting worse. I haven't used any chemicals to clean the carpet. All have have used is the vacuum. I really like Thomas, but after waiting two months for him to get back to me about the carpet samples I had sent him. I finally called him only for him to tell me that I should've received a letter from the carpet manufacturer stating that the carpet was discolored due to bleach being used on it. First, the carpet sample I gave him was a good piece that was left over and not the actual discolored piece of carpet. Second of all, I've never had it chemically cleaned. It's only been vacuum. And to this day, no letter stating the manufacturers findings. To me, all this sounds kind of shady. What do you readers think? I'm still trying to settle this mess. Thomas, I like you man! I referred people to you and this is how you treat someone with a defective product from your business. If I'm being treated like this, I think new customers should think twice about buying carpet from you. Readers, I'm still trying to correct the problem with Thomas and will get back to you when it's corrected or not. Update! Just had my carpet replaced a few days ago on 3/24/16. Thanks Thomas! We shopped for about a month for new carpet for our house and chose Carpet In based on what we wanted and the price they had. We also purchased about 200 sq. feet of tile as well for our dining room. It was a no-nonsense transaction and didn't have to worry about being sold something I didn't want. Installers were very friendly and spoke English. They worked hard. On the day the carpet was supposed to get installed they were about 6 hours late arriving and didn't finish until about 9 p.m. They did good work though and cleaned everything up and we were happy to get the carpet installed that day. I would recommend this place to anyone - it's not as fancy as the big carpet stores but you will save money and get it done right. read more

We moved to Corona last October. Don't know much about carpeting other than online infos. Shopped around 5-6 different carpet stores. Learned a more about it as we shopped along. Once we reached Carpet In, Thomas greeted us (not knowing he is the owner) who is very professional, helpful and knowledgeable, He wasn't pushy. We used Carpet In last year after being to several other flooring stores. I had a swatch sample of carpet I got at Home Depot and they were able to find the exact same one at a bigger discount. They verified that day to see if the manufacturer had enough rolls for our home size. Once they had it it was a three day turn around time to get the carpet and have it installed. This is a family operated business and they are very friendly and customer service oriented. The installers were very thorough and did their job quickly. The only thing I have a suggestion for Carpet In is to follow up with your customers after the job is complete to ensure your customers are satisfied with the job done. read more

In search of carpet and laminate for our home in Corona, I came across Carpet In online. We received a great price, quality carpet, and fast service. Ordered flooring on Sunday, Monday they installed laminate, and Tuesday they installed Carpet. The only thing that bothered us what that their outside contractors that installed the flooring had to borrow tools and materials from us, ie. masking tape, power drill, extention cord. I figured they would have at least had some of their own supplies ready. It wasn't a major issue though. The carpet and laminate look great and i would recommend them. Ask for Thomas. read more

I had a great experience purchasing carpet for my two-bedroom condo in Riverside. From when I first walked in the door, Thomas was very helpful and showed me (a carpet newbie) the popular styles. He gave his honest opinion on the quality of carpet necessary for my home, and I never felt pressured into higher-cost styles. Measuring and installation were painless. The installers were quick and friendly. There was an issue where the factory mistakenly sent less carpet than ordered, but Thomas sent out another installer the next week at no charge. It's been several months now since installation, and the carpet looks and feels fantastic. The prices are much better than Home Depot. I found the same carpet at Home Depot for $0.75/square foot more, plus Home Depot's extra cost of the pad and furniture removal (Carpet In bundled them together). Thomas was so knowledgeable and helpful in choosing which style and quality carpet was best for us (this was so much more important than I realized). HORRIBLE experience of installation and customer service. I had my upstairs re-carpeted and the bathrooms had new tile installed this past July, 2015. I paid extra to have my furniture moved. I moved most of it on my own, but was told to leave the larger pieces (things that required 2 people) for the installers. First day only 1 person shows up. How is 1 person supposed to move my dressers and large cabinets?! The guy tried doing it on his own, but I didn't want anything damaged so my 65 yr old mom and I helped. Then, he had my 16 yr old son in the bed of his truck helping to unload the massive roll of carpet and then helping to unroll it across the driveway to be cut. I had called Thomas (the owner/or son of owner) to let him know. He said that he would find some other workers and call me back. He didn't. The next day still only 1 guy. I called again. He said he couldn't find anyone else to help because no one wanted to work with this guy. Great- thanks for sending him to do my house! The 3rd day there were 2 guys. Instead of moving my cabinets to carpet, THEY JUST CUT AROUND THEM!! They had to go back in and piece it together since they were out of carpet. A different set of workers came to do the tile. That came out well until I couldn't get the black lines off the tile. I thought they were just line marks used when cutting. NOPE! they are black cuts from the tool used. So they came back and used a metal brush to scrub it down. Those tiles should be replaced, but I sure don't want them coming back to my house to do any kind of work.
