TERRIBLE Installation. Buyer Beware. We used them 2.5 years ago to install new carpets when we moved. Initially it was fine, but after a year I noticed the carpet starting to bubble in a few places. It's just my husband and I and the carpet is in a low traffic area. I should have contacted them immediately but kept procrastinating. We just had our carpets cleaned for the first time and it's basically destroyed. There are bubbles throughout the ENTIRE carpeted area (4 rooms). Our trusted carpet cleaner said he's only ever seen this happen through a poor installation job. I googled the issue to confirm if this was true, and there are many sources online stating carpets will bubble after being cleaned when there were not installed correctly in the first place. I contacted the company knowing there was a slim chance they'd cover the repairs but had to ask anyways. They explained it's only a one year warranty and then tried to blame our carpet cleaner and then said it's NORMAL for carpet to bubble like that after cleaning. No, Carpet In, it's definitely NOT normal for carpet to completely overstretch and bubble like this from a simple cleaning, especially when it's still fairly new! I've lived in many different places, and have never had this issue before. Unfortunate that they don't stand by their work and use any excuse to blame a third party. **What should have tipped me off from the very beginning was the men who came to install the carpet told me that they are normally full time landscapers/gardeners and tried to sell me on their gardening service as they were leaving. Obviously not trained in proper carpet installation.** If you're looking for new carpet, don't be lured by their low prices. You get what you pay for. read more

My parents had their house carpeted recently. It started out rough from the beginning. The carpet they wanted wasn't what they thought it was going to be. There were some problems. And the first installers weren't very good. My mom was not happy. David came out to see the work and admitted some of the work was not great. He agreed to redo the carpet. The second time the carpet installation was being done my Mom stopped them in the middle of the job and said she did not like this carpet either. So David ordered a different carpet. This being the third time. I know carpet In lost money on this job. But David was a stand up guy and did what he could to make my parents happy. My mom is very picky when it comes to her house. She is not easy to please. But thankfully after the third time my parents are completely happy with the carpet job. My mom said everything is perfect and she could not find one issue with it. The only other charge to my parents was the difference in price of the carpet because the third carpet was a more expensive carpet than the first 2 they picked out. David at the store was very helpful in figuring out what shades of Luxury Vinyl planks could work well with our existing tile and was very professional and provided a good quote once I provided him accurate measurements. Communication by text was my preferred method of contact and Dave was always available to answer questions. When we asked for a very large room to be stretched a bit more (my husband's a perfectionist), Dave sent out a man who took a lot of time to make sure that the job was done to our liking. He was a bigger perfectionist than my husband. So of course we were more than satisfied with the fix. Great quality carpet, created with a plastic backing because we have indoor dogs. Carpet in was able to look up my original quote and order me new carpet and give me a delivery date that I was able to get to the contractor to have done in time for all the repairs. We originally had a different carpet company in Norco give us an estimate that we thought was rather high. We went to David at Carpet In and he came in $400 less for the same carpet and installation. We were looking for a pet resistant carpet and the other place steered us immediately to Shaw's "Life Happens" series. David spent time talking to us about that specific carpet and it's advantages, but he also told us of some other options and was honest about the differences. We weren't 100% sure about the "Life Happens" carpet until David gave us a demonstration where he poured water on the sample he had and it literally beaded up instead of soaking into the fibers. He ordered color samples for us and had them sent to our house, where we were able to decide what color worked best for us and we could test out the carpet a little more. He did not pressure us on buying at all, but was genuine and friendly. This was ultimately what made us go with Carpet In. We checked out a few others in Corona and a few matched his price, but the customer service was nowhere near as good!! The gentleman at LA Carpet even tried to tell me Shaw had no "Life Happens" carpet and was rather pushy about it. I called David, was honest and told him we were shopping around and had been told this. He told me it was a new product and encouraged me to check out Shaw's website. He was NOT offended at all that we were shopping around and was actually very professional about it in saying that's what smart shoppers do. Once we were ready to make our purchase, we went in and put a deposit down on our installation. David let us know that because it was a brand new product it would take 3-4 weeks to get the carpet from the factory in the color we had chosen, which we completely understood. One week after putting down our deposit, we had a death in the family and needed to use the money we were holding for the carpet on plane tickets to get back to our family. I called David and he was WONDERFUL!!!! He was completely sympathetic and told me that we could put the installation off for a little while even after the carpet was delivered to him and worst case scenario they could hold the carpet we ordered in their warehouse for up to 6 months and we wouldn't lose our deposit. I was absolutely floored by this and it made me SO thankful we went with Carpet In. We were able to have the new carpet put in just a few weeks ago and I could NOT be happier!!! The installation was incredibly fast and the carpet looks AMAZING. We have 3 dogs and 1 who has accidents more often than I'd like, so the "Life Happens" was definitely the best choice for us!! When she has an accident it doesn't soak into the carpet immediately. It beads up on top and we're able to easily clean it up. Then we use the Shaw carpet cleaner for anything that got deeper into the fibers. If you have pets, buy the "Life Happens" from Shaw. And if you're buying any carpet, go to Carpet In in Norco and talk to David. We will go to them for our next carpet need without a doubt! read more

David was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable every step of the way. I was in a pinch for time hoping to have some rugs completed before a big event I was hosting in my new home. I saw Carpet In's local ad which had some decent pricing for carpet, and on an impulse decided to stop by their Norco showroom for more information. David Tossonian was very friendly and personable, and took a lot of time to show us their stock and go over pricing, which was very competitive. He has a very low-key demeanor, with absolutely no high-pressure sales tactics. That's very welcome for a flooring company. He knows his stuff! After finding a price and product we liked, scheduling the job was perfect - a convenient day and time was agreed on that was literally a few days from the date we signed the initial paperwork. The work crew showed up on time and ready to go. They were courteous and professional, and respected the home and its contents. They proceeded to move the furniture quickly and carefully; they did a great job with removal and disposal of the old carpet and pad. The installation went quickly and is very well done. Carpet seams are nearly invisible (very low pile carpet, a very difficult type to get perfect seams) and they did a good job with the placement and securing of the carpet. They ran from 8 AM to around 5 PM for an 1100 sf job at a two story house. The job was completed in April 2015, and I waited until today (May 31, 2015) to write this review to see how the job would hold up for a month or so, and so far it's great! No sagging or stretching to note, and the seams are still very good. Overall, I am very pleased with the goods and services completed by Carpet In, and I do recommend them for your flooring jobs as well. read more
