We delayed scheduling house cleaning and staging for a planned Open House due to this company's 3 week out schedule. When I called to confirm a start time, the day before scheduled work, they wanted to start a day later due delayed work at a prior job. There was termite damage to the original floors, which they repaired, I thought. A week before the end of escrow, the home buyers requested a termite tenting, per an inspection. The termite company found missed sections of termite damage to a section of flooring. The damage was finished over. The termite company can't proceed with tenting until damaged flooring is repaired. I had to pay additional money to have the damaged floors replaced at the last moment. . To top things off, there was minimal clean up effort. The entire house from floor to ceiling was covered with sanding dust and broken sanding discs. We spent hours wiping down crown molding, light fixtures, and baseboards, in every square inch of this 2,500 sq.ft. house. All day before showing the house. To be fair, the dining room and living room floors, which did not require repair work, turned out exceptional. This company did try their best to remove deep pet stains, which was discovered after removing the 40 year old carpeting. They also endlessly sanded corners down to bare wood, where 90 years of darkened shellac finished floors were before. This job was not cheap. These results are bittersweet. I just wished more attention was given to damage and cleanup.
