We used this company for a full home (2500 sq feet) flooring installation. We are happy with the floor we chose. The installation was extremely poor. We have 6 steps that were laid unevenly so they are broken and cracked. It happened almost immediately so yes, they did come out and replace the broken steps initially. A few months later, it happened again. And again. They came out, I believe twice, to replace until, "oops" your warranty is no longer valid. So now, we just have these effed up cracked steps. The rest of the house is great. Just use caution because I don't think the installers they used know how to account for any irregularities. For reference- my husband is 5'11 and 190lb and my son is 6'2 and 185lbs. I am 5'7 and 145lbs. We are not overweight or extremely heavy people. We also do not have pets. read more

Pricing is Not competitive at carpet station; sales rep that took today's phone call was not happy the moment I shared that home depot appears to be more competitive with labor and material pricing with the $2.79 install special. The sales rep hung up the phone so fast I didn't even get a chance to say "Thank you for taking the call." Very poor business etiquette, similar to a poor sport behavior. I have used the Carpet Station on a few rental projects over the years. From the sales to the installation, they have done a great job at very reasonable prices. They have a large selection of carpet, tile, and other types of surfaces. The Carpet Station also has a large selection of remnants ranging from rental grade to super high quality. This, of course, can save you hundreds of dollars or more; depending on the amount of carpet you need. In addition, upgraded padding is usually included. I have yet to find a better deal at another carpet store or big box store. The most recent project (photos attached) involved about 1500 square feet of carpet. The carpet grade was a higher-level nylon rental grade with an eight pound pad. For the type of carpet purchased, it was excellent and was only matched by the quality installation. The installation was an all day job, and the installers made it look like a million bucks. For the next project, I will be installing carpet for my primary residence, which will be a big job. I am looking forward to saving a large amount of money, while getting the best possible deal. You should consider going to this local small business and treating yourself to a great deal as well. read more

I could not be happier with Martha and her entire team at Carpet Station. They were on time, clean, polite, and didn't cut any corners. Their work is superb. I was referred to her thru my realtor as my mother has just past away and I was to renovate the family home of some 50 years. The home needed a lot of help to bring it to market standards (the place needed a full gut job on the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and paint). In November we visited carpet station to try and find a match for the laminate flooring the original owners had in one loft upstairs. Rudy assisted us in almost a perfect match, and we had the entire upstairs (3 bedrooms, a game room and 2 hallways done. The installers were professional and took pride in their work. We were quoted as a 2 day job but it took almost 3. Which was no issue for us, we would rather a job take longer and be done right. It was worth it! Due to some existing floor issues in one of my bathrooms, I ended up postponing our floor work until I could get a construction company to inspect the joists and subflooring. We ended up getting our floors done 4 months later and Danny remembered us and honored our original quote. The two guys completed the work in 3 days and they came out great. I don't have any complaints other than, I wish I had known to cover my furniture and household goods due to the demolition dust (they don't cover anything) and I wish I had inspected the floors a bit better because I found some areas with floor adhesive residue. We did need to clean up afterwards but planned to do that anyways. read more

This review is for the installation. We have a commercial printer that was damage during the installation. It was impossible to damage with human force - it could have been damaged with a carpet roll. At first we thought we could get it fixed so we didn't reach out - we got the quote back for $1,000 so we had to contact the owner of Carpet Station, she said due to the time that had passed they could not be responsible. That was very disappointing so I would not recommend them unless you have someone on-site to supervise. read more

The person I spoke with,"Rudy", gave me a quote on the back of his card. I saw he listed the flooring at $3.89 a square foot. I had a previous quote from a store in Anaheim on St. College Blvd. at $2.99 a square foot. I told him about this price and he became somewhat angry and said, "Don't even waist your time, go and get it, thanks for stopping by" and then turned and walked away into a back room. I have never found it necessary to leave a bad review for anyone, but I must say, this man was very rude and disrespectful. They are much more knowledgeable about carpet and flooring than sales people at the big warehouse stores, and have great deals on remnant pieces.
