Ok so, in a nutshell dancers were entertaining but food was mediocre at best. We were invited to a birthday party here and pretty much we had a great time with our friends dancing and chatting. After dinner they had group of 5 or so dancers which kept us entertained. The restaurant is good for s party where your focus is mostly dancing and enjoying your friends and family but as far as food is concerned it was nothing special. It was a pre-set menu and I'm sure you all know In that case the food is not so great, a bunch of deep fried appetisers followed by some chicken and beef Kabobs. read more

Me and my wife have been looking around for the best Lebanese food in Southern California and after trying many places we can confirm that Carousel is the best hands down ! The food is outstanding very authentic just like home ,very clean and fresh ingredients...every time we are there we try new plates and it never disappoint ,the consistency of quality is amazing ! As for the service ,I cannot say enough great things about the device there ,they are all top professional and very nice specially "Fadi " he is super friendly, very professional and knowledgeable about the menu ,he always makes our visit extra special by his recommendations of new plates and by his great attitude . Bottom line if u want great Mediterranean food with the ultimate decent service and beautiful ambiance think no where but CAROUSEL! Thanks a lot read more

Best Lebanese food I've had in Los Angeles. The food is fresh, prepared quickly, and is worth going back for time & time again. Reminded me a bit of Hasir in Berlin in terms of quality (Hasir is Turkish, but there's a great crossover in food styles). Lunchtime is a great time to visit with coworkers, as it's usually a bit more quiet. Weekend (Fri, Sat) nights can be overwhelming. The restaurant can get filled to capacity, especially if there's a large party celebrating in the main room, but the staff will work to accommodate. Do try the Fatteh Oberjhin... it's terrific. read more

This place was great. It can be either formal or casual and had a very private feel to it the whole time. ordered off the Mezza menu, like 12 items at least- so much food. The person who I met here, is from the area and so she ordered all the food. It was so delicious! nothing was bad, but I skipped a few items... Turkish coffee to follow and some honey dessert. I would recommend this place to any one. it is not cheap though, definitely keep that in mind. Park on the street, it is out in the open and only like a $1 an hour. read more

Carousel has my favorite Chi kufta (beef tartare). The seasoning is fantastic and it's so well prepared. Although the kabob here is delicious, I always get excited for the sides. My go-to are the Fattoush salad(comes with citrus vinaigrette), the hummus, the the muhammara, the jajek and the tabbuleh. I usually get full off the sides. You always get great service and amazing food here. They have live entertainment on the weekends and it's the perfect spot to celebrate special occasions. read more

3 1/2 stars for the food, 5 stars for the service and the entertainment! Yes, it's expensive, but it's okay since you get such great service, tons of food, and fun entertainment! All the food was good, but nothing that blew me away. In fact, the falafel was very disappointing. Almost as if they overcooked it (it was nearly rock-hard). The raw beef dish and the kebobs were probably my favorite. Maybe next time we'll just order entrees instead of doing the whole pre-planned meal thing. The entertainment was excellent. The singer and the band was very talented and had a bunch of people up and dancing. Next came the dancers. They changed outfits quite a few times and performed various middle eastern dances. Everyone loved it and had a great time! It was so fun it almost reminded me of a wedding reception haha. We'll be going back for sure! read more

If you have the patience, MUST TRY THE QUAIL... the marinade for this appetizer is the best. It is so mouth watering. I usually order this as an entree sometimes with other little appetizers on the side. The bill can add up quick but it's worth it ; ]. Now why 4 stars? Because the kabob's aren't the best. The amount of meat is very petite. Just avoid getting that and you'll be good to go! read more

I tried the bazelah today. It wasn't bad. I like their chicken kabob with tabouli and fries I also like the Shawarma plate. Carousal has a nice setting inside. They used to do gathering on the weekend. The food here taste authentic good customer service I came here a few times it was a good experience and I usually order to go there Shawerma Palate with fries. Over all it's one of the good places to eat middle eastern food in Glendale read more

Love the food here...but it is very frustrating to get orders online. While I was placing an order, the restaurant turned off online orders with Postmates 2x..few days later same on Yelp/grubhub. The days I've tried was on Tues and Wednesday between 5;00pm and 5:45 When I call in ,it seems no one knows anything about their services they signed up on. Been told many times its not closed online and accepting orders. Tried again..still closed so I called and got another story from another person saying yes it's not accepting grub hub or postmates now. Today I tried again...and AGAIN was told it was open for online and I said it's not showing on the app.,So he said ok will let kitchen know and hung up quickly. Called again 15 mins later, was told its on...I gave up on my ordering tonight....lol Someone needs to be trained with these questions or just be sure what their online status is without assuming. read more

Service was exceptional here! Very friendly and attentive staff. The decor was beautiful. Now to the food. Something about the food just didn't hit me right but I don't know what it was. It was good though don't get me wrong.. My brother LOVED his meal. I got the chicken and veal liver kabobs with rice. The salad that it comes with was very tangy in a good way. I liked the chicken best. My first bite of the veal liver was AMAZING! Very flavorful and soft. I usually like eating all the weird organs and stuff but after a few more bites, I couldn't eat anymore. It was getting really gamy, like lamb, and I can't stand the gaminess of lamb. read more

This place is one of my favorite, The food always exceeds my expectation, the service is amazing and servers are well trained and professional. The combination between good food, great live band and awesome belly dance show on Friday and Saturday nights makes this restaurant a great place to go to with friends and families to have fun and celebrate special occasions. read more

Excelent Lebanese food, sadly you have to double check prices, sadly in the menu they offer some "family plates" which prices are really sketchy, they charge the plate price per person without specify, in this case the plate was $28 for minimum 2 people and they charged $28x3 = $84, which was way too high! Second and last time for Us in Carrousel. read more

The food here is authentic and amazing! We always have a good time and the whole table is filled with goodies. There's always some food to take home. Sometimes this place gets packed though--especially on weekends. Don't be in a hurry in this case. Also, if you don't have a reservation, they put you on the patio, which can be a good thing, or a not so good thing, depending on the night. They ask for upscale attire on the weekend, so keep that in mind. They won't turn you away, but again, you get the patio. Birthdays are fun and festive, and if you like sparklers in your Birthday Sundae... Note: Call when it's a week night. Sometimes they close before the posted hours. read more

Had my 40th birthday party here. It was a freaking blast! They know how to host a party. Food is amazing. Dancing was fun. Entertainment outstanding. Only reason to deduct one star is bc the whole thing started a little late and so some of my guests left before the show/cake. read more

You haveeee to come here for the Friday/Saturday night entertainment. Not only is the food amazing, the mood and entertainment is top notch. Been here multiple times and every time is a good time, highly recommended! read more

Don't try to eta here if you are Black. They sit people based on if you speak Farsi or if you know people not if you are on the list. Waited 45 mins only to have servers walk up to people who just arrived and seat 3 other couples before us. Asked the staff and they said, they are regulars. This place is unprofessional and selective based on race and relationships. Gold luck. read more

The food at Carousel is always delicious. I ordered to go food on Valentine's Day and although it took longer, they came through! I ordered my favorites - kibbeh, mante, a steak kebab plate, fattoush salad and it was all great with plenty left over. This is a solid Lebanese/Armenian food option and a Glendale staple. read more

Carousel might be the only restaurant that's gotten BETTER since covid. Hubby and I have been going for years and we always get the hafleh beiruti. I never used to eat the bbq portion because it used to be kind of dry and boringly flavored. We had it today and WOW!! Absolutely delicious! Definitely a game changer. The meat quality seemed MUCH better, juicier, and more flavorful! Bravo carousel for not only remaining consistent but only getting better over time! read more

Always delicious! We always order and love everything in the catering packages! Thank you!

WORDS OF WARNING: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD WHEN ORDERING TAKE OUT! This place always leaves things out from your order and doesn't make the additions (Yogurt/ khash khash) that you ask for - even though you pay extra for it. God forbid you order through grub hub- then you will definitely be disappointed with what random thing is missing from your order. Maybe you should pay more attention to getting your customer's orders right read more

Great place when you are craving some middle eastern food without the fuss of the usual restaurants around. Got a full table with Shish Taouk (chicken) that was excellent as the mutabal (eggplant dip) These deserve the 3 stars. The rest of the food was meh. The fattoush salad is really average, the pita bread is basic and store bought quality ( not a good thing) the potatoes was good if it was eaten the day before (not fresh and got them out of the check) Hummus is ok. The staff is caring and the ambiance (friday night) was lively due to the show in the other dining room. Would not come back unless I am around and didn't get any other option. read more

A must try restaurant I've been to both the original location in Hollywood and the Glendale location. I brought along one of my best friends to eat here with me and she also was in love! read more

Ok so I love the food here dont get me wrong.. its delicious. We went with 6 people and the bill was 385. We left 400 cash and left. When we got to the car the waiter chased us and came to find us because she wanted 60 dollars tip. We already left 25 which was moreeee then enough. 60 dollars is not little money and it was ridiculous how gratuity is obligated at this restaurant. I understand that the 60 dollars does not go to only my waiter but gets spill to all. But these waiters are getting paid by the customers "gratuity" money. This is ridiculous read more

We came to dinner here because we were across the street at Porto's bakery and wanted something other than sandwiches for dinner. So we searched what was near us and this place popped us, lucky us! First off if you're like us and want to try everything that sounds delicious, which was pretty much the whole menu, you're in luck. They have an option labeled family style meals which brings you like eight cold mezzes and four hot mezzes as well as three different kebab entrees! read more

The food is good here, but I feel that I was short changed in terms of the portions... My wife and I decided to eat dinner here on Easter and had the prix fixe menu. All the food was good, but the family style serving for 2 people was very small. Each of the dishes came in a small cup and the amount of meat was not enough for even 1 person. When I asked for an additional kebab, I ended up having to pay an additional $20 for a plate. What really makes me feel short changed is the fact that I sat next to a family of 4 who were served enormous portions. I paid for 2 people and they paid for 4, but they received about 4x the food... everything they got was in a large bowl instead of a small cup read more

I've been coming here for so many years and I'm never disappointed. Their food is always so fresh and delicious. Their vegan moussaka is BEYOND!!! Also their cabbage salad is fantastic. Had placed an order and picked it up. All the dishes were either way too spicy... almost as if the cook just fully spiced everything with the red pepper powder... I mean I've had their food plenty times... and it's excellent ...but jeez take it easy on the red pepper shaker! Left a rather unpleasant experience as to the kids not being able to eat it...not sure this was just a one time thing or it's quite common? read more

The best Lebanese food in LA (and I'm Lebanese Armenian American) DO NOT just order a Kebab plate (I'm talkin to you non middle easterners). Arabic food is all about the variety of sides. Share one kebab plate and get a bunch of sides like Cheese Boreg, Dolma, Kibbe, Hammous and tabboule. You will not be sorry. And try "Halawa te jubne" for dessert. It ain't weird. read more

Cool place! Went in on a Saturday night for their entertainment and had a lot of fun. I called ahead of time to make reservations and they informed me that I'd have to choose the entertainment menu where they bring out a bunch of appetizer-like dishes and a few meats. I was fine with that because it gave me an opportunity to try a little bit of everything. We ordered drinks and they were very strong (yay) and felt I got my money's worth. Then they brought out live music and half the room got up to dance. It was very festive but an older crowd mostly. It seemed like the place where the Armenian parents go out to play. Laterrrr in the night the belly dancers came out and performed. Everything is planned out in steps, including the food. Wish they brought out the food at the same time but it was a fun experience otherwise. read more

This is the worst place to eat or order from. Called 5 hours ahead placed the order and when I came to pick it up had to wait another 30 min. Plus they're the most rudest people I have ever met. All the managers owner and the host straight up rude! And the food sucked also. Stay away from this place. The hype has died long ago read more

Super disappointed with our dinner last night. Stood at the check in desk for over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Two waiters standing right next to the desk talking. A man in a suit a few feet away looking but no acknowledgement. Finally a nice waiter came to seat was very kind and offered us different table options as our original table was now crowded by a stroller. Appreciated his thoughtfulness. Our waiter was great. Food timing was off. Ordered the Falafel and the sausage. Falafel came out first. It was amazing! I was hopeful for the rest of the meal but it went down from there. Sausage came out burnt then they flamed it even more. We ordered two beef shawarma and one chicken shawarma. They were all dry. Probably the worst beef shawarma I have had, the hummus was delicious but very hard to ruin hummus. Too many other great options in Glendale to ever return to this place. read more

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff I love the variety of the menu, for sure I will be back

Was out with a big group, and for some of us it was the first time trying out this place. When we walked in the host (who you can't miss) was very nice, greeted us all & was very attentive. The host is a tall guy, well dressed with spiked up hair. I think his name is like Khalid like that DJ. The service here is great, I was truly impressed overall, with the food, drinks, & entertainment! I would definitely come back & recommend this this place to my friends & family. read more

By Far the Best Middle Eastern town. We drive all the way from Irvine to dine and feast on their huge menu . We always order Family style . All the dishes are authentic and fresh, I'am obsessed with their Kibbeh Nayeh . It is do die for . Great quality of products, and the service is warm and genuine, From the warm greeting at the door from the Manager khaled to the service , from Aymen and Bassam. They always make us feel we belong here. And never embarrassing when we bring guests with us. I love the fact they have a full bar, most Middle Eastern Restaurants do not serve alcohol. Carousel always Deliver the best experience & never Disappointing. Highly recommended. read more
