They are not the fastest or the cheapest but we feel that it is important to use local vendors. A few years ago we had a single pane of glass replaced in a large storm window. It took a week and we were charged between 70-80 dollars. I thought it was pretty high but not outrageous. Two weeks ago we took the SAME storm window in to have the single pane of glass replaced. When we asked how much it would cost we were told he would have to figure it out. I called the following week and was told the window was not ready because they broke the piece of glass putting it in the frame. We were told that it would be another week. When we called the following week we were told it was ready and to come pick it up. Again, when asked how much it would be were told, "I need to figure it out." When we arrived we were told the price was $300. I thought he was kidding and said, "really how much it?" and was once again told $300. I said that was crazy for a single piece of glass. He told me glass prices had gone up. Really? over 400%? Not sure what has changed at Clinton Glass but clearly something has. If you plan on using Clinton Glass make sure to have an exact estimate before letting them do any work. For us-NEVER AGAIN!

I can't say enough about the quality of his work and professionalism. Stan has built enough trust with me that I don't bother getting other prices for the fairly small projects that I have him do. Don't get me wrong, I could find a handyman that could do some of these projects for less, but Stan gives me the most value. You will not go wrong with Small Home Repairs if, like me, you are interested in high quality workmanship.

I honestly don't know how this guy is still in business. This will be the last time I refer anyone…read moreto him. As a board member of a building with many residents needing window repairs or replacements, I expected a much higher level of professionalism. I contacted this contractor today, and he told me he wasn't even sure when he would be available to come take measurements. When I asked for a timeframe, he couldn't even tell me whether it would take 1 or 2 weeks just to come out for simple window measurements. He said he would "let me know," yet never even took down any contact information. On top of that, the person I referred to him was also left waiting without any response or follow-up. This is no way to run a business. The customer service is extremely poor and unprofessional. I had no idea the company operated this way, otherwise I never would have referred anyone to them. Do yourself a favor and use a real window repair company like Mike the Glazier instead. The business owner has since removed his rude and unprofessional follow-up comments to my review and has now taken a much softer approach in his response. His original replies were completely nasty and disrespectful. I guess someone finally educated him on appropriate business etiquette and basic manners. Listen Taulant, you really need to work on how you communicate with people. It's not just about the quality of your work, it's also about professionalism, respect, and the way you speak to customers. Just because a job is $325 instead of $13,000 doesn't mean you should brush people off or treat them like they're not important. You know exactly what happened here, so please don't try to play the victim. I'm not trying to hurt you or hurt your business, I'm trying to teach you an important lesson. I was actually trying to help you by referring business your way and putting money in your pocket, but instead you ignored the customer I referred to you and then brushed me off as well. That's not how you build or maintain a good reputation. You also can't say things to customers like "I don't trust your measurements" or act like you'll get to their job only when you feel like it because it's a smaller project. Every customer deserves respect and proper communication regardless of the size of the job. I will eventually delete the review because my intention is not to damage your business, but I hope you truly take this as a lesson learned moving forward. How you communicate with people matters just as much as the work itself.

Not the end of the world. I show them a all the windows that need to be done. They said that is more than what I told them on the phone by 2, and they can't do it. Also, the deal the person in the store said was possible will no longer be honored. I say ok to the price, and ask if they can just do three windows (less than half the initial workload). Nope, they won't do that either. How about just two windows. Nope to that. The entire time they kept blaming the guy in the store "I can't do anything about the price, there is a guy in the store sitting there with a calculator. Not my job". Okay well I made an appointment for today, Can you at least do some work. "Nope we can't we are done at 4pm, he won't let us work later" well this was at 2:30. I called the guy at the store front who was very nice as always, he said he could do nothing about the guys, and he sympathizes with me. The guy in charge sat in the van outside sending his worker back and forth to the house to talk to me, the whole thing was very odd. They took all my storm windows and screens out, left the windows wide open upstairs, moved my furniture and rugs and just left everything a mess. Very disappointed. I made an appointment for window repair, not to get a quote and have the job of putting my windows back together. Once again, not a review for the storefront. I have used them multiple times over the years for doors and shelves, but the people they sent to fix my windows today were terrible.
