Unfortunately I can't give less than 1 star but, boy, do I wish I could. If you read any review please let it be this one and take it as seriously as you can. IF THIS IS TOO LONG PLEASE SKIP TO THE END. I spent weeks looking for a BMW to replace my first one of three years that I just sold. I drove an hour and a half for this car they posted that was advertised as one of the better cars I had seen in my lengthy search. I read the Carfax myself and went back and forth with my mother because it was definitely priced higher than other BMW 535i's I had seen and test drove (by a good $1K-$2K). We decided to finally take the leap forward and head to Stafford to check this car out hoping with all our hearts that this would be the one. It was a beautiful 2010 Black BMW 535xi (my favorite). It was clean, sounded great, and on paper was taken care of like it was the previous owner's own child, which again was a step up from the others we had seen. When we came in they told us the car wasn't on the lot because it was receiving an oil change at their service station across the street, okay that's great! Doing it for us is awesome, until, I realized the previous owner did regular maintenance on this car, break checks and replacements, oil checks and changes. It had an oil change within the last 6 months why is it getting another? Fast forward to us sitting in the office at Cristina's desk signing papers. Pushing aside my doubts and questions, I finally found my car. We drove it home and took it to our mechanic the next day to make sure everything was as in shape as Cristina told us it was, she sat with us skimming the CarFax, jumping around and only focusing on a few things not mentioning anything that may stand out as odd or suspicious. Well, surprise, surprise our mechanic came back with multiple oil leaks, brake pads and rotors at less than 50%, all control arms needed to be inspected or replaced (yet somehow it passed Stafford safety, yeah okay), a very loud an obvious rattling when the car is idle. I'm starting to believe they did the oil change to cover something up, there is no way you can do an oil change without seeing the leaks. BUT THAT IS NOT THE WORST PART. We called asking to speak with someone about this, obviously frustrated we had been essentially lied to. Hans told us we could only speak to Cristina who was conveniently busy. Was told she would call back. 20 minutes later we heard nothing so we called back, we did this game of tag 5 times before someone talked to us. They told us their "5 day return" is actually an exchange which is NOT what they said. They argued with us that VA does not have a Lemon Law or 3 day contingency law which the state does. When we finally got a hold of the mechanic he reassured us he would speak to the GM and call us on Monday. That was yesterday and we've heard radio silence since Saturday. I know you'll read this and try to reply with some "We are so sorry for the horrible experience..." Save it. If you can reply to this review you can call us back, and be assure, Hell will rain down. read more
