The folks at Carmel Movers couldn't have made our move easier unless they packed our stuff themselves (which they could have if needed)! Arranging a time for the move was as simple as calling, and they were able to provide a rough estimate at the time of my call. Ivan provided great tips on how to be as involved (or not) in the move as I wished. I opted to be involved and to move what I could prior to moving day to make things easier and cheaper, since I was on the edge of possibly needing 2 trucks. On moving day, the crew was fantastic. They assessed what needed to be done, then quickly and efficiently emptied my house of its contents. They were able to fit everything on one truck (amazing truck organization), and disassembled beds and tables with ease. At the new house, they guys were attentive to where items should go and re-assembled all items in place. They made what should have been a stressful day very easy to deal with. I highly recommend these guys and they were worth every penny (which in truth was very affordable). read more

So I needed moving help and was looking around on the Internet for companies in Boston.. found their website and.... now I have moved.. Your pricing was more economical than your competition! Not only did you provide me with excellent service, but my experience surpassed my expectations. Your employees were so great to work. At all times they maintained professionalism and politeness while working hard. Btw..they tried so hard to get my huge couch out of a small stairway and through the small door. They were so careful and nothing was damaged. I also had a 250 pound mattress that they moved down some of the narrowest stairway with no problem. Their time management was perfect so that I was able to stay within my budget. They were conscientious about where to place everything when unloading. I don't have a single complaint. Carmel Movers made my move as simple as possible and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for meeting all of my needs! read more

We had no plans on moving, but our shady "slumlords" have us three weeks to vacate (yes illegal) so they could do renovations on the building...we were completely strapped for money and had very little to cover movers. I called Carmel Movers and spoke to a very nice man named Ivan. He was very helpful and gave me a great rate. I received a confirmation call two days prior to our move and was told that the movers would arrive between 8-9am. On moving day, they showed up at 745am, went through a quick walkthrough and the three men got to work. The movers did a fantastic job!!! They took care in wrapping furniture so that things did not get broken or scratched. The movers made quick work of all of our stuff ( we had a ton of stuff)...and they finished 1 1/2 hours under quoted hours. I will definitely use Carmel Movers again...and would recommend them to others. They made our bad situation a lot better. read more

We had to move out from our season apartment to a new place in Boston, so I came across Carmel Movers, and called in advance for scheduling and was given several availability dates. They honestly did the best move we could ever expect, in terms of speed, safety, promptness, friendliness, honesty and price. They arrived twenty minutes before their two-hour window began in the morning, got straight to work, and finished way below the ceiling price established a week earlier by the guy who did our estimate. We did our own packing to save money and they didn't mind in the least, it is cheap movers. They moved everything down from our 2nd story apartment and my wife being responsible for the packing and unpacking happily gave the four workers a nice tip and money for a good lunch.. she was happy that nothing was damaged.. Phew! We would not hesitate to call them in the future! read more

Carmel movers is the BEST. Over the past few years I have used them to move several times and each time they impress me with their efficiency, professionalism and skill. Each time they arrived on time, navigated challenging locations (midtown NYC, Boston, narrow driveways), and packed my items with care and speed. They wrap all furniture and make the closet/dressers/clothes move so easy. They are even more impressive when they unload - they set up each room perfectly and re-assemble each piece of furniture, including tricky dresser mirrors and desks. They're so helpful, rearranging pieces when I changed my mind on location and helping move boxes to the right location. And every time they finish ahead of schedule and have made a busy day so much easier and stress-free. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs to move - locally or out of state. They are the best! read more

The best movers ever. We had a complicated move combining the contents of mutliple houses from Duxbury Dover and Wayland to a new home in New Hampshire. They came out to give us an estimate and there were no overages. Their teams were thoughtful and polite and took wonderful care of us and all our belongings.. This was a difficult move for us but Carmel made it as wonderful as it could be. We have many antiques and fine items which were all well wrapped and delivered with no harm. They were courteous and hardworking at all times. They disassembled and reassembled the beds and even took apart and rebuilt our two heavy nautilus machines. It was a true pleasure working with the team including the two leaders (we had multiple trucks) Hector and Alvarro. Great Job Guys. I would recommend them again in a minute. read more

Do not use this moving company! We moved from MA to NC and it was the worst experience ever! The contract states the movers have 15 days to deliver your furniture, they came on the 16th day, or should I say he came on the 16th day. The company sent one employee all the way from MA to NC all by himself. When he came in he told us he could go find someone to help him...what? This guy was going to go pick up some delinquent hanging out on the street! No way! My husband had to help him move everything in and reassemble all the furniture. Our contract stated they would handle everything...that is what I paid $2500.00 for. It has been 2+ months since our move and we are stilling fighting with them for a partial refund. They agreed to send us $250.00 and the check has been in the mail for 3 weeks.! read more

I worked with Ivan to get a quote and after having several companies including Carmel Movers come to my home to give me an in home estimate, I chose to go with Carmel Movers. I was very impressed with the knowledge I had gotten from the estimator and was even more satisfied with my move. I moved from Norwood to Boston, and was very impressed with the entire move. They treated me and my belongings with care. They wrapped my furniture three times once with shrink wrap, with bubble wrap and blankets/pads for a damage free move. They even had a box for my 42 in plasma, who knew that even existed? They even followed up the move at the end with making sure that I had everything placed in the right rooms. I will recommend and use this company again if the need arises. read more

I used Carmel Movers to move my two story house located in south Massachusettes to a new place in Boston. Several companies quoted me outrageous prices and their pick-up and delivery dates were never the days I needed. I found Carmel Movers and I was so happy to go with them! They had exactly what I needed, and were extremely happy to help with everything! Carmel Movers helped me wrap every piece of furniture I had in protective wrapping and gently moved each item carefully into their truck. I didn't recieve one damaged or scratched part at my new home! I can't say enough great things about these guys over at Carmel Movers. From their awesome customer service to the moving guys themselves, no complaints at all. read more

We had a fair amount of items that were heavy and they were diving right in. I really didn't have much expectation for them so they did much more than I was expecting and I really enjoyed their service and price. I was not disappointing with these guys. Although I must say that the quote at the beginning reminds me of our moving day. We were quite nervous that we were going to get a few duds as movers. My husband and I would say yeah its not gonna be funny if it happens to us. So that is where the first quote came from. These guys actually ended up working out so well for us. They have great service, are friendly and their prices are reasonable. read more

We just had an excellent experience with Carmel Movers last weekend. Arrangements with Ivan at the office were simple and straightforward. Carmel moved the contents of a four bedroom house from a storage facility in Natick to our house in Framingham. The crew called me while I was driving to Natick to let me know they were on their way, and actually arrived before I did (and before they were due). They were polite, cheerful and worked super hard. The whole move, including assembling furniture in Framingham, was completed in six hours. I highly recommend Carmel based on my experience with them. read more

Over two moves and three years of storage, Carmel Movers consistently provided me with superb service. They were professional at every step of the way. They did what they said they would do. They showed up when they said they would show up. They packed my belongings carefully. They gave me great advice when I needed transcontinental moving services. Over the two moves and three years of storage I had with Carmel, nothing of significance got broken. In a world of full of nightmare stories about movers, Carmel stands head and shoulders above the others for its reliability and professionalism. read more

I used Carmel Movers to move and temporarily store my living room furniture and then return them. So that I could replace my entire failing old living room ceiling. Ivan was very helpful to me. The price to move plus one month's free storage was the best low price among the local movers. Plus Carmel Movers was very careful with my furniture by thoroughly wrapping them up to protect them in the move. When the furniture was returned, they unwrapped and place each item back where it belonged. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs moving and storage at a very reasonable price. read more

I hired Carmel Movers to move me closer to my elderly mother. I had some items that needed to go to her home and I needed relocate and store some of my belongings in storage. I can not thank them enough. The price was not the cheapest one I found, but the service was worth every penny. They accommodated all of my requests. Even my mother commented on what a great job they did, and she is a tough customer. Ofra my sales woman was so helpful; she was always willing to answer my questions. I can not thank them enough. I will recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks Carmel! read more

I highly recommend Carmel Movers. The Customer Service Manager (Ivan) was fantastic; he kindly and happily adjusted to our schedule that had to change several times, and provided lots of details about the quote and the process. The Movers were also excellent: prompt, careful, polite, extra helpful and efficient! And the final charge was less than the estimate! This was a temporary move while we have work done on house, and we will definitely call on Carmel when we move back! If you are moving, I suggest you call them too! read more

I've used Carmel Movers twice in the last 2 years and I couldn't say enough good things about my experience. Vivo was very easy to communicate with and provides top notch customer service. The movers were extremely kind, caring, efficient, and hard working. They didn't just bring in the furniture and leave as quick as possible - They took the time to help set-up the entire apartment and make sure the entire moving process ran smoothly from start to finish. read more

I've moved almost a dozen times...but this time I was not going to count on family and friends (and their trucks) to move me. My sister hired Carmel twice before...and swore by them. So, I did the same...with no regrets. They were on time, efficient and handled my things with care. The price for the move was over 50% less than what I was quoted for by other companies. I don't plan on moving anytime soon but if I do, I will certainly give Carmel a call. read more

Carmel Movers is my all time favorite moving company....and I've moved a lot. They took the best care of my belongings than any other company. The movers were pleasant, efficient and respectful. The price was right too. Vivo is a master problem solver and in a real estate transaction all kinds of challenges can come up. I am a real estate agent and since then I have referred them to all of my clients and gotten nothing but rave reviews. read more

Carmel Movers are the best. Ivan was very helpful and experienced in all aspects of moving. I made some last minute changes and he took care of everything.
