I'm updating my review because they really turn things around for me. They placed me in a new vehicle better than my last and I just left from having it repaired and it drives amazing! Special shoutout to Stan for putting up with me, Sammy for also dealing with my high maintenance needs, and Isamel for my recent service visit... even though.. he never really at work... I'm scared from the 6-months of hell they put me through so I probably won't be back but I feel I owe them a good review going against protocol and making thing right for the customer. Y'all alright in my book!

The huge carmax lounge is very welcoming in the heat outside. There are seats in the left, on the right and around, so plenty of seating. I had just come from Shabana motors and though the staff was courteous, it was much smaller with limited seating, compared to which, this was luxury. Had to get a quote to sell my 2008 Prius. My partner for many years, it was high time to let go and get a new one. I realized it was so old that every dealer we went to, v had to explain to them how to start the car! :).... It was a pretty long wait of 30 min, and the quote that came back was really low, but the guy who was responsible for us did not take us for a ride, he told us upfront that it was very low and he personally would not take the offer but sell it directly and earn definitely a better price. I appreciated the honesty. They did enough for me to want to go back to them for any car needs in the future though I could not sell the car that day. So long...

Very nice location the design of this Carmax is absolutely beautiful. Lots of space and privacy when working with one of the salesperson. The customer service is top tier and the new quick check out is amazing! You can tell this location really values the cars they sell!

I was astonished at the speed & high level of customer service. Motivated professionals took care of my transaction on a very busy Saturday in under an hour! Barely had time to read one section of the Wall Street Journal. First - went to their website, entered all the vehicle information, mileage, options, etc. Then made an appointment to sell it. Arrived 20 minutes early, checked in, handed over the key. CarMax folks appraised it, produced a confirmation of the $$$ value. Then signed the paperwork to sell it. Received a tote bag with my old plates and how to let Texas DMV know I sold the vehicle. Will 100% do business with them again!

As you can see there's some type of adhesive on top of metal body frame

Got an online appraisal at 10,500 and was offered 7 when I went there, took them 2 hours and kept me hanging. Cannot say I'm impressed.

I definitely felt I got a very fair offer, since I had checked the Bluebook price value for the year, model and miles on my van, prior to coming to CarMax.

I didn't bother asking for more because I simply just didn't want to do business with them. Their offer was insulting. I think they get paid more commission for how low they can buy vs selling. It's easy to lowball desperate people. Me I am not desperate.. just getting values. Verdict Carmax offered 4K more (appraisal is 1 day apart). Picture is proof! ****Update I took my car to the main location at Stafford and they gave me 5k higher then this previous offer. In summary the appraiser at this location is a moron!

Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced…read more This is the fourth automobile I have purchased from the company formerly known as Texas Auto Direct (now known as Vroom). The automobile I purchased April 2, 2019 was a beautiful 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. The purchase price was great at $18,480. I had my financing in order, so this should have been a very easy transaction. My paperwork was completed on April 2, 2019, and I hoped to take delivery by April 8, 2019 because I would be out of town after that date. This became a problem because there is really no number to call to check on your delivery date. I wasn't please with the communication regarding delivery, so I called their customer service and arranged to pick the vehicle up in Stafford, Texas. This was a five hour drive for me, but I felt better knowing I would have the car prior to my vacation and wouldn't have to deal with the poor delivery service anymore. It took about ten irate phone calls with their delivery team before I finally got to speak with someone in Texas that could help ensure the car was ready. Before pick up, I was contacted by Lupe Espindola, who assured me that the Fiat would be ready on April 6th, and that I could pick it up at 9 a.m. and simply drop off my trade. So that is what I did. This part of the transaction went well. The car was ready on time, clean, and I left my Elantra in their parking lot, as instructed. After I got home, I realized I'd left my garage door opener in the old car, so I texted Lupe to see if he would mail it to me. He said he would. This was a lie. The next snafu was them mailing me the title and other paperwork that I needed for registration. In Louisiana, you have only so many days to register a newly purchased vehicle. The paperwork took so long that I was assessed a late fee by the state of Louisiana. When I DID get the paperwork, I realized that I had been charged a $499 delivery fee. After all of the hassle I went through to go pick the car up, I was astounded that they delivery fee was charged. I e-mailed and called several times about this issue and was assured a check would be sent. This was misleading. The check was sent a week later; however, it went to my lender, USAA. Not to me as was suggested. Three months later... after a phone call from my old lender, Capital One, I found out that Vroom NEVER PAID OFF MY TRADE IN. Capital One said I had two days to arrange for payment or they could report me to the credit agencies. I called the service line that I had become so familiar with over the past three months to tell them about the situation. I demanded that they pay off my old loan immediately or redeliver my Hyundai Elantra back to me. After all, I was still technically paying for it. After about 10-20 phone calls with their "service" department, I was informed that they could not wire the money that easily. Instead, they would have to send me a new set of paperwork via FedEx. I was assured they would call me, though, and arrange for delivery of the paperwork. Instead of calling me back like they promised, they proceeded to send the paperwork to my home address. I happened to be in California at the time, so I was pretty enraged with that. I called them back several more times to ensure that the papers were sent to the place where I was staying in California. They did assure me that they would go ahead and pay the balance of my trade before they received the returned paperwork. This was a lie. Before I received the final paperwork to have my trade in payed off, I got a call from their DELIVERY DEPARTMENT. Amazingly, the sequence of events had set off some kind of automatic pick-up request for my old trade-in. A guy from Texas calls and asks me what day he can pick up my Hyundai Elantra! The Elantra had been dropped off in Texas THREE MONTHS EARLIER. This company is the worst. Their various departments don't communicate with each other, they don't communicate with customers, and they aren't honest when they make promises. I called them several times after the whole ordeal to ask for some type of compensation for this disaster of a transaction, and they did nothing. Had they reached out to me and made some type of offer for all of the time and frustration they caused, I wouldn't leave such a negative review. The truth is, you need to read this review and avoid the company at all costs. You might save $1000 on the price of a used car, but think about what your time and well-being is worth. You don't want to risk it. I can only imagine how much worse it could have been if the car I received had problems. DON'T EVER BUY FROM VROOM. If you have any questions about this review, e-mail me at hazmatofficer@gmail.com. I have all of the names, e-mails, texts, and call logs from this transaction, and I'm happy to share. In total over 40 e-mails had to be sent, over 40 calls were made, and there is also a log of text messages.

I am naturally skeptical of any used car dealership even more so one that has so many high ranking reviews. I didn't initially believe it and thought they were fake. Boy was I wrong! Joad (Sales Manager) & Zuri (Sales Agent) do business the old school way. They stand behind their product, no B.S. Bait & Switch, and take care of their customers to no end! They offer a 7-day warranty on there vehicles and dont just sell you junk that you have to be worried about breaking down the minute you roll off the lot. They sold me a solid business van for my fleet, that had low miles and it was the cheapest priced vehicle online in the entire country. They are in business for the long haul and understand the importance of reputation. They treat people with the upmost respect regardless of price on car, like some other dealerships. Motors on Wheels went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the esthetics and mechanical integrity of my vehicle, which gave me peace of mind! If this wasn't enough, Zaki has proven that he has the goods to build a premier dealership as the personal care that he places on cars and customers is apparent from the time you meet. You will likely be taken aback by the way that Zaki balances being personal and professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately we had a situation arise causing us to not be able to purchase from Zaki (completely our fault) and he was more than gracious and understanding. While we didn't get to purchase from Zaki( this time), we will be referring all of our friends and family to King Brothers. I only write reviews that I am utterly compelled to, and after spending weeks going through the car shopping fiasco, meeting many wonderful and terrible people, Zaki was the star that outshined them all. I wish Zaki and King Brothers nothing but success as this is just the type of experience we need in the world. Whether you purchase from King Brother's or not, you can rest assured that this 5 star rating (at this time) is not a fluke.

First of all the transportation company was two days late with the car. The most dangerous problem was the right rear wheel was barely bolted on by about a1/4" of two bolts, the other 2 were way loose and one wheel stud completely corroded out. We're lucky the wheel didn't fall completely off when we took it to get new tires. We were told that the tires were good and the car was in good condition. We soon realized the radio doesn't work, no trim around sun roof, loose wires under the hood, plastic radiator cover loose- no bolts at all, spare tire flat, front fog lamp housing hanging loose, etc. We paid for a car in great condition and got a car that needed a lot of work and had not even been detailed (as advertised).
