LOWBALLERS ..Take your business to Carmax where they pay more. I was curious to see the difference…read more This guy here knew nothing how to value my simple bmw. I didn't bother asking for more because I simply just didn't want to do business with them. Their offer was insulting. I think they get paid more commission for how low they can buy vs selling. It's easy to lowball desperate people. Me I am not desperate.. just getting values. Verdict Carmax offered 4K more (appraisal is 1 day apart). Picture is proof! ****Update I took my car to the main location at Stafford and they gave me 5k higher then this previous offer. In summary the appraiser at this location is a moron!

Worst Customer Service Ever Experienced…read more This is the fourth automobile I have purchased from the company formerly known as Texas Auto Direct (now known as Vroom). The automobile I purchased April 2, 2019 was a beautiful 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. The purchase price was great at $18,480. I had my financing in order, so this should have been a very easy transaction. My paperwork was completed on April 2, 2019, and I hoped to take delivery by April 8, 2019 because I would be out of town after that date. This became a problem because there is really no number to call to check on your delivery date. I wasn't please with the communication regarding delivery, so I called their customer service and arranged to pick the vehicle up in Stafford, Texas. This was a five hour drive for me, but I felt better knowing I would have the car prior to my vacation and wouldn't have to deal with the poor delivery service anymore. It took about ten irate phone calls with their delivery team before I finally got to speak with someone in Texas that could help ensure the car was ready. Before pick up, I was contacted by Lupe Espindola, who assured me that the Fiat would be ready on April 6th, and that I could pick it up at 9 a.m. and simply drop off my trade. So that is what I did. This part of the transaction went well. The car was ready on time, clean, and I left my Elantra in their parking lot, as instructed. After I got home, I realized I'd left my garage door opener in the old car, so I texted Lupe to see if he would mail it to me. He said he would. This was a lie. The next snafu was them mailing me the title and other paperwork that I needed for registration. In Louisiana, you have only so many days to register a newly purchased vehicle. The paperwork took so long that I was assessed a late fee by the state of Louisiana. When I DID get the paperwork, I realized that I had been charged a $499 delivery fee. After all of the hassle I went through to go pick the car up, I was astounded that they delivery fee was charged. I e-mailed and called several times about this issue and was assured a check would be sent. This was misleading. The check was sent a week later; however, it went to my lender, USAA. Not to me as was suggested. Three months later... after a phone call from my old lender, Capital One, I found out that Vroom NEVER PAID OFF MY TRADE IN. Capital One said I had two days to arrange for payment or they could report me to the credit agencies. I called the service line that I had become so familiar with over the past three months to tell them about the situation. I demanded that they pay off my old loan immediately or redeliver my Hyundai Elantra back to me. After all, I was still technically paying for it. After about 10-20 phone calls with their "service" department, I was informed that they could not wire the money that easily. Instead, they would have to send me a new set of paperwork via FedEx. I was assured they would call me, though, and arrange for delivery of the paperwork. Instead of calling me back like they promised, they proceeded to send the paperwork to my home address. I happened to be in California at the time, so I was pretty enraged with that. I called them back several more times to ensure that the papers were sent to the place where I was staying in California. They did assure me that they would go ahead and pay the balance of my trade before they received the returned paperwork. This was a lie. Before I received the final paperwork to have my trade in payed off, I got a call from their DELIVERY DEPARTMENT. Amazingly, the sequence of events had set off some kind of automatic pick-up request for my old trade-in. A guy from Texas calls and asks me what day he can pick up my Hyundai Elantra! The Elantra had been dropped off in Texas THREE MONTHS EARLIER. This company is the worst. Their various departments don't communicate with each other, they don't communicate with customers, and they aren't honest when they make promises. I called them several times after the whole ordeal to ask for some type of compensation for this disaster of a transaction, and they did nothing. Had they reached out to me and made some type of offer for all of the time and frustration they caused, I wouldn't leave such a negative review. The truth is, you need to read this review and avoid the company at all costs. You might save $1000 on the price of a used car, but think about what your time and well-being is worth. You don't want to risk it. I can only imagine how much worse it could have been if the car I received had problems. DON'T EVER BUY FROM VROOM. If you have any questions about this review, e-mail me at hazmatofficer@gmail.com. I have all of the names, e-mails, texts, and call logs from this transaction, and I'm happy to share. In total over 40 e-mails had to be sent, over 40 calls were made, and there is also a log of text messages.

Carvana Review - Great Service, But a Few Disappointing Surprises…read more My overall purchasing and trade-in experience with Carvana was smooth, and I want to highlight the exceptional service I received from my concierge, Darius, and his assistant, Paul. Every time I called into the center, the representatives and supervisor were also incredibly helpful and professional. Their customer service is definitely a strength. I did, however, remove one star due to a few issues with the vehicle itself. When the car arrived, there were paint defects on both sides that were not advertised online. I submitted photos of the damages, but Carvana only provided compensation for detailing based on one side, even though both were affected. On top of that, the car arrived needing an oil change, which was frustrating--especially since I purchased the extra protection package that supposedly includes oil changes. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for the oil change and was told I "should be reimbursed" after submitting receipts, photos of the oil level, and going through a review process. Honestly... what? That part of the experience felt unnecessarily complicated. I still haven't gotten the detailing done because I'm trying to find a shop that fits within the amount they offered. All in all, the process itself was seamless and the staff were wonderful--but the condition of the car upon arrival and the back-and-forth over reimbursement kept this from being a truly 5-star experience.

Good morning, I purchased a grey Honda HR-V on 05/01/26. This SUV was returned on 05/19/26 due to concerns you each received in an email dated 05/02/26 (11:32 am). I would like it noted and I did call on 05/19/26 to speak with a Sales Manager regarding the excellent service I received from Robert and Wausaun, this portion of my experience was seamless. After receiving my new white Honda HR-V on 05/19/26 during my drive home the TPMS light came on. I called the Customer Service number and was notified that due to it being after 6 pm service was closed. I arrived at 7:28 am on 05/20/26 and was assisted by Ishmael. I explained to him the aforementioned and was met with the following: 1. He stated that my issue could not be resolved because I did not have an appointment. - I stated that I just wanted the air pressure checked because after I left on 05/19/26 Discount Tire Co was closed and on 05/20/26 they had yet to open as I stated previously I arrived at 7:28. 2. Ishmael also stated that I could leave the car and when Service had an opportunity the car could be checked. - I pointed out that I had to go to work, which he then stated I could receive a courtesy ride share. My position is itinerant meaning I am not stationary and need my car for work. Upon further prodding Ishmael took the SUV to check the PSI. Why this many conversational turns took place with no one in service that needed to be assisted is beyond my understanding. When Ishmael returned he stated that the PSI was low on the front two tires and overinflated on the back two tires. I asked "what was the PSI supposed to be" he proceeds to "mansplain" what PSI is WHEN THAT WAS NOT THE QUESTION ASKED. In lieu of listening to listen he listened to respond. He also stated that the TPMS light would go off after driving, which I understand because this is my 3rd Honda purchase from your location and second issue across 2 different cars with Service. I drove out of my way to ensure the light would turn off, it did not. I watched a YouTube video and recalibrated it myself. I am not employed by Carmax nor do I appreciate having to do someone's job had customer service been his priority this morning, it took a matter of 3 minutes. Again, no one was waiting in the service bay other than myself. Considering that Carmax is facing a challenging time and consumers such as myself still choose to do business with you because of Salesmen such as Robert, Wasuan and notable mention "Peter" who I purchased my first Honda from while in college is beyond me. I would like to know how the Service Department is going to rectify this situation? Thanks in advance,

Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), car dealerships cannot send marketing or sales texts without your prior express written consent. This applies even if you talked to them once months ago. Here's what the law requires: * Marketing texts require express written consent -- a signed agreement (electronic is fine) that clearly authorizes that dealership to send promotional messages. legalclarity... * An inquiry only gives them a 3‑month window to contact you under an "Established Business Relationship" (EBR). After 3 months, that protection expires unless you gave written consent. Dealerships get sued for this constantly -- penalties are $500 per illegal text, and up to $1,500 per text if the violation is willful. legalclarity... I purchased from another dealership because they wouldn't stop messaging me and calling me nonstop.
