Joad (Sales Manager) & Zuri (Sales Agent) do business the old school way. They stand behind their product, no B.S. Bait & Switch, and take care of their customers to no end! They offer a 7-day warranty on there vehicles and dont just sell you junk that you have to be worried about breaking down the minute you roll off the lot. They sold me a solid business van for my fleet, that had low miles and it was the cheapest priced vehicle online in the entire country. They are in business for the long haul and understand the importance of reputation. They treat people with the upmost respect regardless of price on car, like some other dealerships. Motors on Wheels went above and beyond for me to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the esthetics and mechanical integrity of my vehicle, which gave me peace of mind! Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. Fast forward a month, I ordered a car to be delivered from Louisiana location for a test a drive. $200 non-refundable. It took two weeks and the tracker sucked, rarely updated. But it eventually came in. And the test drive process was a breeze, again in and out in less than 20. The gal hated the car (Genesis gv70 Electrified). Too cramped, but very pretty. There were no surprises at all during the entire transaction. Everything was very clear and completely transparent during and after the entire process. I was floored, as I'm used to car dealerships trying to rake you over the coals and squeeze as much money out of you as possible. Not with Kerry Strait! It had a broken crankshaft. TX Auto GRP sold me a lemon!!! To make matters even worse, I bought TX Auto GRP's warranty when I purchased the Jeep. Not only did the Jeep break down, but they could not honor the warranty that they sold to me. The Jeep literally sat in their services department for almost three months, and it was never repaired. It is still sitting there to this day. Not only could they not fix the vehicle, but they did not seek outside help (Jeep dealer) to rectify the issue so that I could get back on the road. I even offered to have it towed to my mechanic so that he could fix it, but I was told "It does not work that way." Beyond that, trying to get updates about the repair was almost impossible. Nobody would answer the phone or return my text unless I called the sales manager. After a while the sales manager just started letting my calls go to voicemail. I even tried to contact the owner, but nobody would put me in contact with him. It was the worst experience of my life and that is not an overstatement. Then the loaner car they gave me also had engine issues. The check engine light came on one day after I picked up the loaner. It started running rough, so it was not drivable either. After I told them what happened, nobody even offered to get me into another loaner car. I was now stuck with another TX Auto GRP mechanical issue. Finally, the Jeep Gladiator is not something that happened to me once. Nope! I have purchased four vehicles from TX Auto GRP over the past six years. The first vehicle I bought from them had major frame damage and the front end of the truck was welded up to the point that you could not even fix any of the damaged parts. They hid the frame damage by using bondo and paint. The next truck I bought had fuel system issues. I had the entire fuel system changed out twice just to clear the check engine light. The third truck was the only vehicle that I did not have issues with because I bought it from someone who came into the dealership to trade it in while I was there shopping for trucks. Meaning, it was not an auction vehicle that the dealer got super cheap so that he could then repair and sell off for a jacked up price. Three out of four vehicles that I have purchased from TX Auto GRP have had catastrophic failure. I highly recommend you stay away from this dealer unless you want to end up like me: Screwed out of your hard-earned money ... After all of that, I tried to get them to buy the Jeep Gladiator back and put me in something else, but they refused, so now I have to spend money on a lawyer, since I was basically forced to go buy a new vehicle, because they could not fix the lemon they sold to me.

Victim of Car Liability Warranty Theft: I am a senior citizen. In March 2024, I purchased a…read morepre-certified 2020 Nissan Rogue with 33,000 miles from Central Nissan at 2901 S Loop W, Houston, TX 77054. The vehicle's pre-certified warranty covered it up to 75,000 miles. I also paid $1,800 for a $20,000 extended warranty through the company financing my loan and, at the finance manager's insistence, paid another $2,000 for an extended Nissan factory warranty. Although this was financially difficult, I wanted adequate coverage for a used car. In October 2025, Mr. D told me I needed a brake job. My brakes were not squealing, but I relied on his recommendation and agreed to what I thought was a complete brake job in November 2025. I later learned Central Nissan had replaced only the front brakes and rotor for $400. Immediately afterward, I began hearing a metal-to-metal grinding noise. From November 2025 through April 2026, I repeatedly returned to Central Nissan, sometimes twice a month, for the same noise. During that time, Mr. D and Mr. Y, the service advisors, nearly exhausted my extended liability warranty without my knowledge. Mr. Y recommended costly repairs, including work on the CV axle, joints, and tie rod, and more bogus repairs based on what the technician said might be causing the noise. These repairs did not resolve the problem and should have been submitted under the Nissan factory warranty instead of using over $13,000 of my $20,000 extended warranty within five months. Since purchasing the car, I repeatedly only took my car to Central Nissan. Most of the repairs starting in April of 2025 were for the same reoccurring issues. I repeatedly told Mr. D and Mr. Y that the grinding noise began after Central Nissan performed the brake work. By May 2026, after seven months of the same problem, I told Mr. D that I would take my car to another Nissan dealership. In April 2026, I took my car to Group 1 Southwest Nissan and met Ms. Garza. Ms. Garza assured me she would not recommend unnecessary repairs. She told me only $600 remained on my extended warranty, which shocked me because I believed that my extended warranty should be used only for repairs not covered by the Nissan factory warranty in which I paid an extra $2,000. She noticed several deep circular cuts on the front rotor driver side and Raul replaced the brake and rotor. The metal-to-metal noise immediately ceased. I contacted Nissan customer service to complain, but I was told they could not restore my extended warranty coverage. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), but Central Nissan did not respond, therefore the BBB informed me they closed my request. I pray that you will not become a victim of liability warranty theft as it has happened to me due to lack of warranty knowledge. I have asked Central Nissan's to no avail to replace my liability warranty they used up of my coverage for an issue that began after its performed brake work. I am now concerned I may have to pay out of pocket for future repairs until I am able to purchase another extended warranty unless Central Nissan replaces the coverage that was used. I will continue to seek any remedies from Central Nissan to replace my extended warranty.
