I personally will never buy another vehicle from TX Auto GRP. I bought a $40K Jeep Gladiator from them, that only had 36K miles on it, and within two months the vehicle had catastrophic engine failure and left me stranded in the middle of nowhere. It had a broken crankshaft. TX Auto GRP sold me a lemon!!! To make matters even worse, I bought TX Auto GRP's warranty when I purchased the Jeep. Not only did the Jeep break down, but they could not honor the warranty that they sold to me. The Jeep literally sat in their services department for almost three months, and it was never repaired. It is still sitting there to this day. Not only could they not fix the vehicle, but they did not seek outside help (Jeep dealer) to rectify the issue so that I could get back on the road. I even offered to have it towed to my mechanic so that he could fix it, but I was told "It does not work that way." Beyond that, trying to get updates about the repair was almost impossible. Nobody would answer the phone or return my text unless I called the sales manager. After a while the sales manager just started letting my calls go to voicemail. I even tried to contact the owner, but nobody would put me in contact with him. It was the worst experience of my life and that is not an overstatement. Then the loaner car they gave me also had engine issues. The check engine light came on one day after I picked up the loaner. It started running rough, so it was not drivable either. After I told them what happened, nobody even offered to get me into another loaner car. I was now stuck with another TX Auto GRP mechanical issue. Finally, the Jeep Gladiator is not something that happened to me once. Nope! I have purchased four vehicles from TX Auto GRP over the past six years. The first vehicle I bought from them had major frame damage and the front end of the truck was welded up to the point that you could not even fix any of the damaged parts. They hid the frame damage by using bondo and paint. The next truck I bought had fuel system issues. I had the entire fuel system changed out twice just to clear the check engine light. The third truck was the only vehicle that I did not have issues with because I bought it from someone who came into the dealership to trade it in while I was there shopping for trucks. Meaning, it was not an auction vehicle that the dealer got super cheap so that he could then repair and sell off for a jacked up price. Three out of four vehicles that I have purchased from TX Auto GRP have had catastrophic failure. I highly recommend you stay away from this dealer unless you want to end up like me: Screwed out of your hard-earned money ... After all of that, I tried to get them to buy the Jeep Gladiator back and put me in something else, but they refused, so now I have to spend money on a lawyer, since I was basically forced to go buy a new vehicle, because they could not fix the lemon they sold to me. read more

My 30 Day car buying review . 2008 Porsche Caymen S was shipped to the house. I started the car up and WARNING........the driver information center had 1. Side marke light warning light is out. 2. Large red explanation on the dash( warning light ) 3. The car has a bose sound system with a Sony head unit. Only front speakers work and you can turn the stero all the way up and it's still not loud. A&D audio in tarpon springs wants 130 to pull the unit and tell me what's wrong. 4. My License plate is expired and I have the car parked in the garage waiting on Texas auto group to send another temp tag till they get my out of state tag. AND NOBODY WILL CALL YOU BACK. Typical shady dealership. I bought a car from this dealership. They took weeks to process the payoff for the trade-in so I got charged another payment on the old loan. The registration took over a month to receive, and when I left the dealership, they promised to mail me my second key because they said "they keep it at another facility". Turns out there was never a second key, they just like to get you out the door as soon as possible. I do not recommend, but if you do, expect to be underwhelmed. read more

They have some cool inventory, but they're from auctions for various reasons. This CL63 was filmed by their group in what seemed to be immaculate condition. There are over 100 pics on their website, so they present very well on paper. The video walkthrough is also showroom quality. An out-of-state buyer relies heavily on this. A friend told me to get a PPI (Private Party Inspection), to be my "eyes" out there and check for any discrepancies. There were a couple major ones: someone at the dealership at some point rear ended what looks like a hitch, it punctured the back bumper and is partially hanging off (plastic clip is broken). My inspector said a new bumper is needed, front and back. A hood vent is randomly missing. They lied to me and said they got the car that way, yet the vent is seen in their showroom video. My PPI found deep scratches all over the car. Mechanically, nothing too bad, but a recently cleared engine sensor which isn't a good sign either. The sales person said 'no problem we'll fix all that', but I know better. It won't be a full swap OEM bumper, it'll be a bondo quick job. All-in-all, I've seen the price of this car go down $100 in 4 weeks lol I don't think they negotiate because SOMEBODY will buy it. They have a hardcore gig here. I have a Manheim connect and know what they got it for so it's shocking they dropped it a hundred bucks when they screwed the car up and the online ad is false. If you buy from them, get a PPI, get everything in writing, never let them "fix" anything for you so you know it's being done right. See it with your own eyes if you can. read more

The Google reviews are flooded with fake reviews to drown out the bad ones. These people will scam you, then offer 1k, for 10s of thousands of dollar repairs. Save yourself the headache and buy elsewhere. When we talked on the phone, I said all y'all do is lie, it turned into a yelling contest, said I never lied to you, cursing me, very unprofessional, with an angry customer, going through what I'm going through. Hate to break to it to israel, you said 2 days in a row, you'd call me back in 10 mins, never heard from you. So you lied twice! So to start yelling and cursing me and going on the defense was just to play the victim, pathetic.Then he said you have no proof, you probly blew it up. I asked for an email address to send proof and he said I'm done with this bye. Didn't want to see the proof. These crooks are unprofessional and I doubt they'll be in business much longer. Although the test drive was great and financing was quick. I have to now unfortunately, share that not even 45 days in my car and s not running right. It's rough and sounds horrible. Not sure if it's the motor or transmission!! When I test drove it the breaks were very sensitive like when you first get them done, but about a week and half ago, now got warning saying the front break pads needed to be changed. How? I called my sales person and left a voicemail and he's hasn't returned my call. Update, manager called me as soon as possible. Taking car in for service. Long post BUYERS ....BEWARE - and of course the shop isn't being truthful about the situation and is why this review is necessary. Please pay attention to similar reviews and YES they will try and bully you AFTER they have your deposit. I saw the vehicle listed under their retail options. I went in and looked at the car. Driving it the check engine light appeared and the AC was malfunctioning. I was advised by my salesman that they will fix the check engine and AC. Yes I have the signed promise you'll see below. It was offered ! I finalized all paperwork paid $500 deposit and signed a prp for the remaining $500 which was about a week or so later. I was given a loaner while the repairs were fixed. I was called next day and asked to provide my first month's payment (which was agreed to by my finance co not in house a month later AND the remaining deposit before my car would be released) !!!! I spoke with the GM named Gregg who stated the car was not suppose to be sold at that price and another salesman told me they were trying to sell it to someone else who came on their lot while it was suppose to be fixed. This is AFTER my paperwork and partial deposit. When I arrived with their loaner car they loaned me for less than 24hrs and hadn't fixed my car , I am sitting with finance and a guy comes to me and takes their loaner keys from me. Then after about 40m sitting there just sitting there they return from a back room and claim they changed their mind and they are not going to fix what they promised AND wrote down as a promise AND they again already had my $500 deposit. It was absolutely the worse to be treated as if I the CUSTOMER did something wrong. I felt bullied , vulnerable and swindled. Fast forward to today this car is a lemon. It will cost $7k in repairs out of pocket and that's with a $2k warranty portion- $9k total . I called back and of course there's this huge false story where they are stating I MADE THEM SELL ME THE VEHICLE!! They are even as going low and claiming by AL - a new sales Manager who wasn't even working there when this car was purchased stating I went into their dealership and had an altercation !!! why lie lol. This will be interesting to see on their non existing camera footage. Which clearly never occurred. I asked AL to have Sean the owner call and his response as if he was speaking to his 3yr old child "NO IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT!" Just a lot of grown men taking advantage of a person with their tactics. I did also leave a request for the owner to call back with the front desk and no I never received a return call. Yes I tried to converse with the dealership but they are just nasty.(AL, JIMMY the mechanic whos text exchange was pictured below, and GREG) My car was also given to me on E and hiding in the lounges valet parking BEHIND their dealership back door!! November 10, 2025 I purchased a 2018 BMW M5 from TX Auto Group - I live in San Diego, CA -- Therefore I was unable to see the vehicle in person. The vehicle online looked IMMACULATE. Show room ready. Car arrives to my house November 13th, 2025 at approx. 8:30pm. Mind you it was a bit of a rainy night. Car looked fabulous, just as described. Upon entering, I was met with a trim piece right above the steering wheel that was broken beyond repair... Whatever, wish that was disclosed as it is literally one of the FIRST things you see when you enter the vehicle. Who cares, it's a car from 2018, 7 years old. If that's my biggest issue with this car, I'm happy.... The next day, November 14th, 2025. In the sunlight, I noticed there was a trim piece on the roof of the car missing. Hm, ok, well seems the previous owner wasn't too fond of plastics. Whatever, we've racked up a $50 plastic replacement order. Who cares. Again, wish it had been disclosed as it is RIGHT above the driver's door. Whatever... The following Saturday, November 15th, 2025 - I was met with a low coolant warning before I even started the car for the day. Approx. 7:20AM. I contact Israel about that one. Immediately calls me to get it figured out. Ended up being the coolant reservoir was leaking. They send out a new reservoir and all is good. I appreciate the prompt response as well as the urgency to get that replaced. November 19th, 2025, A couple days go by and I hear nothing from them. Being that I am in California and this vehicle hasn't seen any state aside from Texas, I know I'll need to go through whatever state inspection process. I contact Israel to see what is needed. He states I do need to get the vehicle smogged. Sounds good. I get it smogged and scan/send the paper work over to him as well as Monica via email. November 25th, 2025 - I reach back out to Israel to ask the status of the registration (temp tags expire December 10th, 2025) to which he responds that Monica will MESSAGE or CALL if anything is needed. Sweet, I will keep an eye out for a message or a call. November 26th, 2025 - I get a text stating "Hello, This is a follow up to remind you additional documentation is needed to process your title & registration. The documents were emailed to you. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us!"... Awesome, I check my email and see a "REG 31" form needs to be completed. What is that? I respond to the email asking exactly what is needed from me. Do I fill this out and send it to them? Do they fill this out and do something with it? Do I need a state inspection? What do I need to do. No response..... December 1st, 2025 - Please keep in mind the registration expires on the 10th. I get another text with the exact same "follow up" generic text. Sure, I respond via text this time acknowledging I saw the email, however I had a couple questions regarding what needs to be sent. I asked the same question of "Do you need me to complete and send the REG 31 form?". I got no response.... December 2nd, 2025 - "Good afternoon Monica, I wanted to touch back with you to get some more information regarding what is required from me?" NO RESPONSE.... December 9th, 2025 - Registration expires TOMORROW! "Hello Alec, So it looks like all we are missing is the Vin Verification for the 2018 BMW M5. It must be completed in CA by DMV authorized personnel, police Officer or AAA on the Form REG 31. Then you will need to mail us the original form so we can send it out to the CA DMV to process the title and registration." Uhhhhh.... Why am I hearing I need to get this mailed and THEN it goes to the DMV. First off, am I able to take care of this? Whatever, probably not for whatever god forsaken reason. Second, why was this not disclosed the DAY the funds landed? The DAY I smogged the car? LITERALLY ANY POINT PRIOR TO THE DAY BEFORE EXPIRATION!!!!! For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to get information regarding what is needed and I am met with either no response or a response that somehow takes DAYS to write.... Ok, stuff happens, I can either cry about it or just get the paperwork sent out and roll with it. I get the vin verification done. I ATTEMPT to get it sent out same day as well... Well that was a silly assumption. Mind you she sent that text at 8:52AM I respond at 8:56AM with "Ok got it. What is the mailing address that it will need to be sent too." followed with " I can get it sent out later this afternoon" - No response, who woulda guessed!! As yelp is capping my word count lol, I am cutting to the chase. January 9th, 2026 - 1 Month expired registration, which in the state of California is an impoundable offence, with no answers or status. More problems undisclosed that I have found (approx. $3,500 in parts and labor NEEDED NOT WANTED). Requested a call from the GM today and was told I would be called back. Avoid this dealership at all costs. They sold me a truck that needed a new engine and didn't let me know as I was buying it. Test drive went fine but once I got it home, this truck started to fall apart immediately. Brought it to my mechanic and his comments were this engine has been worked on before based off the new parts in it. Come to find out TX Auto Group bought this truck with a broken and sold it to me saying it was in great working condition. Turns out they must have bandaid'd it enough to get it sold and then ghosted me. Won't answer my calls, won't answer emails...just gone. I'm having to file a lawsuit against them so that I can possibly recover the $15,000 it costs to replace the engine. I purchased a 2500 RAM from Texas Auto Group on August 8th, 2025 It was a good purchase with ONE EXCEPTION. Marcus (salesperson) did a fine job, Kamila in finance did a fine job, Maria and Monica in titles and registration did a fine job. BUT..... Somehow the State of Texas DMV was slow and then the third party contractor that the dealership employs to audit the plate and registration paperwork (based somewhere in Colorado) FAILED, FAILED, AND FAILED SOME MORE to perform the duty for which they were contracted to do. I am an out-of-state purchaser of this truck and understand that it should take a few extra days because it is out-of-state. However, it's actually taken 82 days (yes, that's nearly 3 months!!!) and 4 Temporary Tags The dealership is without blame. The people who work at the dealership are without blame. They did all they could to expedite and help (except for providing a name/address for the Title Company responsible for the delays). I am also very pleased with the vehicle. MY WARNING TO ANY POTENTIAL OUT-OF-STATE BUYERS OF A VEHICLE AT TXAUTOGROUP IS TO REALIZE THAT THE TEMPORARY TAGS YOU GET FOR YOUR VEHICLE WILL EXPIRE LONG BEFORE THE PAPERWORK IS COMPLETED AND SENT TO YOUR HOME STATE!!!. I only wish I could have talked the girls in Titles and Registration into giving me the name or contact number of this contractor.... I would have much rather rattled their cage a few times a week instead of bothering them. Update...... I was able to track down the title company responsible for all the delays. They are ATC. What used to be a $32k collector condition 2005 Daytona Sunset Orange Chevrolet Corvette is nothing more than a $22k low mileage Corvette with body and paint damage repairs. It also has a dead battery that was so low the driver side window automatically lowered 4 inches to allow a vehicle recovery service to access the interior of the vehicle to prepare it for towing. That didn't happen however, because I refused receipt ofthe car and had it sent back on the same trailer that caused the damage on the trip to me. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and they refused. I gave them the oportunity to discuss this with me to see if there may be a more amenable resolution and they refused. Note the condition of the trailer that they used to ship it to me. That ISN'T a car hauler trailer. That's a Farm Trailer that was last registered in 2012 and that has the rails cut off of it. CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT - contact me if the dealership screwed you!!! I see tons of complaints about bad vehicles being sold and it's time this company pays for it. I'm having to find a lawyer to sue them and Veros Credit. Been dealing with both of them for nearly 2 years. Finally was told that the dealership would by back the car but instead they sold it at auction and are trying to get me to pay them $13k when in fact, they owe me $8,500, per our discussion with Veros Credit. DO not shop here. They are all lying sacks of sh*t - all of them. Sam, Diego, and Gregg. The owner is the only one I have not spoken with but apparently everyone there says the owner made these decisions and without talking to me lol such bs, they blame each other until you get tired and say screw it... Sam "the new sales guy" is a slithering little snake and lies about anything to get the sale. Just a scummy little boy. Diego the sales mgr is the devil in disguise - dresses somewhat proper but isn't a good person at all - just plays pretend, no follow through, and again, just a lying little boy. Gregg is the finance guy, the Lying King. Fluffed up the numbers when I bought the car, made up all sorts of lies, promised to get the car taken car of and never did. All started with them saying they would fix a light and fix whatever the issue was if I bought the vehicle that day... Brought my car in 3 separate times within 2 months after purchase. Nothing. the maintenance guy actually yelled at me lol forgot his name but is slime like little Sammie boy. Said they would fix the problem tons of times and when they couldn't fix it, they refused to give me any info regarding it. Couldn't tell me the repair shop name, couldn't send me any repair documents, didn't even know if it was worked on, AND didn't even give me a loaner car. Additionally, the car was such a lemon that Veros Credit (Don't use them either, they are in cahoots) said I could reverse the sale and make the dealership buy it back and return my money. Which I did, TWICE. Then both companies ghosted and came up with bs to avoid paying me back AFTER they got my car. I've called TX Auto and have been ignored, lied to, yelled at, etc.. I have pictures, texts, and recordings of my own. Both companies refuse to provide any documentation to prove me otherwise. 2 years of hassle and tons of money and time repairing the vehicle due to TX Autogroup and Veros Credit. So who wants to get a lawsuit going? They are frauds and need to be held accountable. Just adding a few things: They work with their own used tire company and repair shops who do their inspections as well as repairs. They are all scammers. the complaints are about being lied to, damage being hidden, bad tires, damages, cars failing after "thorough"inspections lmao OBVIOUSLY they are scamming everyone here thats complaining. read more

Not horrible experience was just trying to get some numbers before I popped into store. Sales man tried to force me to go in after letting him know I wasn't going to, He finally mentioned I need a co signer which is okay but why wait and try to make me go in just to tell me that. UPDATE: I called the dealer again and finally got AL, a manager. He listened to me and offered to fix the tailgate next time I'm in Houston (come to the dealership). I explained it may be 6 months, so I found the most reasonable repair shop. He offered to pay partial for repairs. And seemed helpful and wanted to keep customer relationships. Very sleazy company. They sold me a car with a warning light on and swore up and down they would fix the issue bc it was a cheap sensor. Turns out they sold me a lemon. Had major issues less than a week after driving it. Sam and Diego promised to fix things several times and nothing ever happened. They couldn't even tell me who they took it to and what was done with it. They are absolute scum and "outsource" a lot of work to their sketchy partners. It's all a sham and I have reason to believe they are doing illegal activities. The maintenance guy got in my face in front of a few customers at one point and was yelling that I needed to calm down when I started asking for detailed information on the 3 times they "fixed" the sensor. Basically things just kept getting worse like they were slowly killing my car. These people are jacked up. You heard my warning. Stay away. Went here to look at a car. They had some very cool looking inventory but from what I could tell every car had been totalled and "repaired". It seemed like the only thing they sell are salvage titles. The car I looked at had several warning lights on. The salesman was said the car was new in inventory and they would fix it all. He seemed very shady and fast talking. I told him to let me know when the car was fixed and I'd come back to take a look, he said I had to pay for the car first and they would fix it later.
