Thought this was a pretty good Carl's Jr. Adequate enough but the service is what saved it from being mediocre.

Look, this place is in the middle of nowhere, and pickings in town are slim, so for what we got, it was pretty good, especially over the holiday weekend. We ordered a ton of food (big family, four hours on the road, and we were all pretty hungry) and the servers got everything right. They even custom made a salad for me and did a great job. The bathrooms were clean (really!) and while there wasn't a ton of parking, there was enough. My one quibble is that the ordering wasn't really streamlined at all, it took a while, and the folks behind the counter seemed quite overwhelmed. However, once we ordered, the food came out quickly, which was nice. read more

Used the drive through, the service was great. She was very nice, but when I received my order, stuff was missing.

Very disappointed dining room is closed. So many of us truck drivers pass by this place and give them our business. Guess we don't matter to them. Definitely will be taking out business elsewhere, don't think my truck will fit through there drive thru. Will never give my business to a place that does not want it. read more

So, I know it's kinda silly to review Carl's Jr on Yelp, but I just thought I might mention that this Carl's Jr is above par. It's nicely kept, considering the small size of Mojave, CA, and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I rarely eat fast food, by the way. It was just a refreshing experience. A great place to stop on the drive from LA to mammoth. Fuel up, grab an always juicy burger, relieve yourself. What else can you ask for? Anyone who comes to Carl's and expect a 5 star meal, 5 star service or a 5 star bathroom needs some new glasses. read more

It's Carl's Jr what more can you expect from fast food. Unhealthy fried food that should be prepared in a quick fashion. This establishment failed terrible at the fast part. Nothing fast about ordering today. Nothing. We ordered fries, onion rings, fried zucchini and criss cut fries. Oh and an iced tea. The iced tea was the fastest as you got it yourself. Food was to be as expected. Fried but not to perfection. But again it's fast food and what should one really expect? The parking lot sucks!!!! It's small. And driveways are super narrow. read more

Staff is funny, it reminds me of the gremlins helping you out in the middle of no-where. The place is clean, some employee happen to be in the bathroom and asked if everything was OK (I did need bathroom paper). They will customize your orders unlike any other places. read more

This is the most awful Carl's Jr. I have ever been. It was not charcoal broiled it was microwaved and I got the walk a moly burger worst I've ever tasted no flavor at all it was cold the bread was all tore up it was awful I would never eat there again. We ordered two of the lettuce wrapped burgers. These were actually very good. The lettuce was done well and covered the burger. However, the fries were over done and old, onion rings were not fresh either. Finally, tea (which you have to ask for) was terrible. Whoever makes that should be sacked. 0n 8 March 2019, around 4pm I went to this establishment to eat, I ordered a super double cheese combo no soda and fries, and a fish sandwich, The female brought the food to my table when I started to eat the fries I noticed they were cold, the burger was cold the bun was dry and the fish sandwich was cold and limited on tartar sauce, after eating this garbage, I went to the mens restroom and how disgusting, the 1 toilet was filthy, It looked like one of the employees had cleaned it recently but didn't bother to clean the toilet bowl, this establishment wasn't even busy at the time, and it's on the main thoroughfare going through Mojave, I won't recommend anyone going to this place, ( save your money and drive by ). read more

Worst Carl's Jr I've ever been to. On New Year's Day, they were "short-handed" yet continued to take orders at the counter and drive-thru. As walk-ins, it took 35 minutes to get our order, then after driving off in frustration, realized that we were short TWO orders of fries!! You have to stop taking orders in order to meet your customer's needs. It is not okay to produce fast food in 35 minutes and you are so flustered that you mess up the order and the food is cold. How did this place get three stars? Horrible experience. Poorly managed under duress. I mean there were still 5 people working but not as a team. read more

So we always make Carl's Jr in Mojave our meeting spot for the Mammoth caravan. They have never failed us and thank goodness, the bathrooms work here! Whew....that's almost always a challenge when driving through this town. I always get the $6 dollar bacon cheeze with the onion rings and shake. Sure, this place sucks. But man, it's tradition! I go here every Thanksgiving on our traditional trip up to Tehachapi. It's a great midway point for our purpose (bathroom break anyone?!) and we get some criss cut fries and maybe a chicken sangwich. The worst drive thru experience!!! 30 minutes to get some chicken strips and they forgot the ranch dressing. It took me 5 minutes for someone to answer me at the drive thru "5 piece chicken strips please,"....... 'hold on'...... who does that. !!!! This is why ISIS gets US recruits. We stopped at 8 pm tonight (Monday) and got a Famous Star burger with cheese, a Western Bacon cheeseburger, and a child's burger for our dog who was waiting in the car. The dog's burger was the only one that was hot. Our other burgers were cold but we didn't know until it we were back on the road and too annoyed to turn back and wait for new food. There were a couple of cars in the drive-thru but the inside whiter we ordered was empty. We had to wait about 15 minutes but obviously the meat had been cooked prior to our arrival. I went into this Carl's Jr to get the Beyond Burger and small fries. The lady behind the counter handed me my bag, and I literally turned around and took 2-3 steps before the bag broke and everything fell to the ground. I pointed it out to the lady behind the cash register and asked for new fries (I did not ask for a new hamburger since the wrapping had not undone.) I cleaned up the fries that were all over the floor, and when I went to get my new fries I was told I may NOT get any. I asked why and was told that I had to BUY new ones since I was given a bag that had not been broken! I had not even opened the bag yet!! She said the "manager" told her she could not replace the fries. I had witnesses that saw what happened and she still wouldn't replace them. I asked for her name and for the owner's name. She refused to give me either one. I then called corporate and put in a complaint. As I was speaking to corporate, the police showed up and asked me to leave!! I have never been so embarrassed! Before I left, the real manager came over to me and apologized for his employee's behavior. He then offered me new fries and a new burger, which is what they should have done from the beginning. Unfortunately I did not trust that they wouldn't do something to my food (the employee seemed like the type that would), so I ended up not eating anything from this restaurant. The one thing she did say, was "I'm pregnant" not exactly sure why or what relevance it had on the situation. It has now been a week, and I have yet to hear back from corporate or the owner on this matter!! I know it's just a small fries, but it's the principle!! read more

This Carl's Jr. is by far the worst. Upon unwrapping the burger, it looked as if the maker had worn it in their back pocket for a few days. The lettuce and onion were outside the bun loosely in the paper. The patty was fatty and undercooked and in two pieces, which did not fit together. The cheese was cold and unmelted. Though requested, there was no ketchup in the bag. It was a sorry excuse for a cheeseburger. Some of the fries were burnt and the fried zucchini was pitiful looking.
