When we first got there around 7:30pm, the line was almost out the door! It wasn't too busy at the tables but it just looked like everyone was ordering super slow and the line wasn't moving. Luckily, we found out they take online orders. We placed our order online and got our food within 20 minutes, then took it back to the hotel to chow down! I got the Jalapeño B burger. It's a hefty size and was oozing and leaking down my hands with beefy fat juice! The patty was so juicy and infused with chopped jalapeños bits, while the gooey jack cheese and grilled jalapeños added even more flavor. The bun is also some fancy artisanal bread, not your normal processed fast food burger bun. The fries are also well-seasoned and crispy. Also, I got the ranch dip and it was the star of the show -- tastes even better than Wingstop ranch! I drenched my burger with it and licked up every last drop. The drive-thru took roughly 45 minutes, and after being pulled forward I waited another 10+ minutes just trying to get someone at the window to acknowledge me so I could get a receipt. I eventually spoke with the manager, Savannah, who explained that the second order would likely drop off. The frustrating part wasn't really the $1.99 fries. It was that after such a long wait, there didn't seem to be much effort to quickly resolve a very small issue and keep things moving. A little better communication and customer service would have made a big difference. Hopefully this was just an unusually rough evening, because the location itself is convenient and we're frequent McDonald's customers.
