Glad I made the trip! These cupcakes are HUGE, and definitely worth the value. Fun and different flavors for everyone! Was an instant hit with the rest of the family. I've only had the Oreo cupcake myself, but the fluffy, buttery Oreo icing paired very well with the chocolate cake. Just the right balance of sweetness! I'm excited to try the rest. It was so rich and so moist, EVERYONE at the party devoured their slice. My husband, who doesn't even like cake, LOVED IT! My only regret is I didn't order a few cupcakes for the little kids who normally may not be fans of German choc cake (1 out of 3 of them loved it tho). We live out of state and visit NH every summer. Her love of baking goes back to her childhood when she would help her mother bake for her six brother's and sister's. We wanted a medium cake for my son's first birthday, not very sweet, nothing special and were ready to pay $100+ for it but she simply was not flexible to offer me any options but said her cakes are all the same, standard and that she can not do anything we asked, which is a medium cake with minimum sugar. Carina's email was not friendly and she sounded annoyed with her customer. If somebody makes custom made cakes he or she should be ready to fulfill the customer's ideas but not their own like Carina, she offers her standards. It means the cakes are not custom made but standard like in the store. We contacted another baker and she was friendly and thought out of the box providing us with custom made cake and service. read more

I ordered 50 cupcakes for our sons rehearsal dinner party and left it up to her for the flavor variety. They looked and tasted AMAZING!! They are fine and the owner is nice, but seriously the prices are insane. $16.00 for a half dozen cupcakes? I guess frozen yogurt and pop up cupcakes shops that charge up the rectum for cupcakes is the in thing now, but there's no need for it and no way they are worth what they charge. read more

they are delicious but WICKED pricey! $2.75 a cupcake! I kid you not!! I bought a variety half dozen for $16.50 to present to a friend. Everyone agreed they tasted wonderful but no where near worth the price. Carina made the most beautiful cake for my son's wedding, a 3-tier beach themed cake with seashells and graham cracker "sand" that was almost too pretty to cut into. The guests were raving over it. She also created a small, soy-free individual cake for a guest who has allergies. She was an absolute dream to work with, and the price (which included delivery to the venue) was far less than I expected it to be. Can't recommend her highly enough. read more

Carina made the cake for our May 31st wedding. It was beautiful, and delicious... so much so that many people went back for seconds. Carina is a delight to work with, talented and creative and was willing to work within our budget to create what I had in mind. She was sweet, honest, knowledgeable and very accommodating, and offered great suggestions to make the cake look fabulous. I've also inquired about gluten free cupcakes, which she is able to make but required advance notice. I ordered a cake for my daughters baby shower. Carina had a picture of just the cake I wanted on her website. Very easy to work with over the phone. Picked the fillings and the colors. When I arrived at her new site the cake was ready and even cuter than I expected. Everyone was impressed with how it looked and tasted. One of the best cakes I have ever had to date. I've been here a couple of times to have some cupcakes, just on a whim. They've always been very tasty, and her frosting is very light and fluffy. They're about $2-$3 each. Carina is very friendly and always willing to talk to me when I come in. I'm only going to give her four stars because her selection is a bit sparse at the moment (I'm assuming because no one really knows about the bakery yet), but I hope to update it to 5 stars soon. read more

We first tried Carina's after trying to find a bakery that could make me a custom cake for my 30th birthday. I had been craving the traditional style Italian wedding cake (almond cake, raspberry filling, vanilla butter cream) and it had been hard to find a bakery. Let me just tell you, this was the BEST cake I have ever had, by far. Not only did it taste amazing, but it looked beautiful.
