Espresso cheesecake that almost made me cry it was so good- those pretty stars are edible sugar & don't interfere with texture or taste

Best cheesecakes HANDS DOWN. I can no longer eat cheesecake from the store anymore, it's so depressing tasting once you've had their cheesecake. Depression cakes, if you will. The Cake Fairy's cheese part is soo rich and creamy, definitely highest quality you can get. Their perfect crumbly bottom I'm sure is a top secret recipe because it's like none I've ever had- perfect amount of crumble and buttery flavor. Their super special Espresso cheesecake (they only make once in a great while they said) was soo good I almost cried. I did laugh and tear up a little though, first bite caught me off guard how good it was. Lol true story. I told my husband how disgusting it is that it tastes *that* good and he said maybe don't put that in the review but I am anyway. Kind of criminal to be making such perfect cheesecake if you ask me, but who am I to judge? I am not the dessert police. I am a huge coffee snob and this cheesecake went way over and above what I had pictured in my mind beforehand as far as taste. They did more than just nail the espresso flavor. I now need this flavor in liquid form for my morning cup. They also have seasonal flavored cheesecakes- their pumpkin and their apple ones in the fall are amazing! Their strawberry one tastes like super fresh, just-picked berries in a (jam? Preserve?) topping. I highly recommend following this mom & daughter duo on their Facebook page called The Cake Fairy because they always post the super special menu items on there! I call to reserve mine because they go quick- especially their cannoli's (which is my husband's favorite.) During holidays they take pre-orders for pies and such too. Highly recommend for showing up to guests' houses with or for hosting. Nothing says I love you like like showing up with these superior deserts. (Store bought if you despise your in-laws I guess. Or kill them with kindness and get The Cake Fairy ones.) They are super nice people too & really appreciate their customers which is a huge bonus. Definitely give this bakery a try!!! (Just please don't take the last cheesecake or cannoli.)

They made the best eclair I've ever had in my life. The cupcakes and whoopie pies are no joke either.

She's even asked before if I have flavor requests for the gf muffins. All of the staff is friendly, too. Beverage selection is great and they have fun seasonal latte flavors. Best draw of this place is the latte and chai flights! I've seen them other places for crazy expensive prices. The flights, like everything here, are very reasonably priced and a fun way to try different flavors. I've noticed in my time going here that they always keep up with trends, like adding lemonade flights and energy drinks. I don't usually order hot food, but I've loved the sandwiches I've tried. Like the drinks, they have quality ingredients and fun recipes. I've visited off hours and during rushes, and the staff is always prompt and organized. The atmosphere is great for hanging out and they keep close ties to the community, such as selling art and allowing by local businesses to display their business cards. I recently stopped buying coffee out to save money, but I'll absolutely this local business whenever I'm craving a treat.

Plus, the owner is friendly, accommodating, and clearly understands the assignment. Pro tip: go EARLY or don't complain. You want the freshest picks and the full spread? Then show up on time, because this place sells out FAST--for a reason. Miss it? Yeah... that one's on you. Savory cravings? Covered. Pastry mood? Thriving. You truly cannot mess this up. Yes, the location is small--but don't be fooled. It packs a HUGE punch. Indoor seating is almost non existent, but grab your treats and enjoy the outdoor seating, during warmer months, while you ask yourself, "why didn't I visit sooner?" Hosting something fancy or need a holiday flex? Say less. They do that too. Bonus points: if you bring your fur baby by during the summer, you might catch them handing out dog treats--because this place clearly believes in spoiling everyone! And no, I don't have aesthetic, influencer-level photos. Why? Because we're too busy devouring the goods and living in the moment before I even think about grabbing my phone. Priorities.

They sell fresh baked, sliced bread on your left as you enter, between a cold beverages cooler and local newspapers for sale. Cashier is straight ahead. A display case under the counter offered a variety of donuts, bagels, muffins and other treats. A coffee station is at the end of the counter, on the way to the restroom (which is very clean). On our first visit, a Friday morning, we dined in on breakfast sandwiches. There was a short line to order, most of which was take away. My breakfast sandwich was egg, turkey bacon and cheese (I think swiss) on a croissant. It was a very tasty sandwich. My SO had egg, bacon & cheese on a plain bagel. He ate it pretty quickly so I'm thinking it was good. On this first visit I ordered a medium Americano. It has a bit of an espresso bite and was a good strength. They left room in the cup for milk which is available at the coffee station along w/half & half, flavor shots, sweeteners, paper cup holders and lids. Coffee beverages include latte, cappuccino, espresso shots and more. Milk alternatives are available for an additional charge. Our second visit, a Saturday, there was a line to the door. We both ordered medium drip coffees. We were given paper cups and filled them ourselves from the vacuum pump dispensers at the coffee station. This day had regular, decaf, french vanilla, hazelnut and maple coffee varieties. The coffee was a good temperature to drink right away and had a smooth finish. Very good. Third visit, a Sunday, the line to order was out the door. We had a long drive and were anxious to be on the road and decided to just stop along the way. We should have waited. This coffee is far superior to what we ended up with. Don't be like us. It's worth a wait.
