I constantly ask for a well done pizza, only to bring it home and open it up and see literal raw pizza dough with the cheese falling off. This is the absolute worst market basket i've ever been to.

I arrived 40 minutes later and see my subs on the counter out of reach. The line was long with people ordering so i stood to the side to ask for someone to hand me my subs. I see an older male employee ladeling chowder into bowls for the grab N go area where rotisserie chickens are purchased by customers. This soup guy had the most noticeably disgusting hands ever! His nails are all diseased, discolored, and riddled with fungus and straight up look disgusting!!! He had no gloves on and was wiping the spilled chowder off the bowl edges with his hands!!! Yuck!! How is he working with food, with hands like that? Health code violation in my eyes!! This man couldn't put lids on the bowls of soup correctly and kept crushing the paper bowls. You could tell he was an hourly employee taking his time to literally fill 3 small bowls of soup as slowly as possible. So after patiently waiting for minutes and watching that soup disaster there was a sub station lady walking out front from the back room area & i tried to ask her for my subs before she walked by them, however, the disgusting nailed soup man made eye contact with me first and initiated conversation. I told him i was just trying to pick up the subs next to him. He bluntly told me to go ask the sub lady. I told him i was trying to ask the sub lady but he stepped up and initiated conversation with me. He basically said, Tough, and just looked down and refused to look at me or respond. The subs were 6 feet away to his right on the same counter!! I admit i was irked by that so i told him i was trying to ask the sub lady but he initiated conversation with me and now the sub lady was gone again. A woman from the back room heard us and came out and asked if i needed help. I mentioned to her i called 40 minutes ago and just wanted my subs sitting on the counter next to soup guy. She walked over, saw my name on the order, and kindly handed me my 2 subs. I genuinely thanked her and then sarcastically thanked the soup guy for doing a splendid job and wished him a wonderful night. The express cashier up front i had was a middle aged woman with a wrist guard who is awesome every single time i use her checkout lane. Most employees at this location are great, the subs are usually great, the prices are great, but that soup guy with diseased/athletes foot hands is a cancer that should be removed. I wish I recorded how he packaged those soups! Disgusting! Ill never buy a prepackaged soup here now!! Buyer Beware!

One would as slowly as possible top of veggies in sub sandwich station. Then individually take boxes out back. Eventually another employee helped the gentleman in front of me. In the midst of his italian sub she stopped and went over to the slow veggie employee and started complaining. Then cane back & added the mans veggies. While she was finishes up i got the slow veggie refill lady, and I asked for a steak bomb. She gave me a look like she was mad then complained to the other girl that the grill is almost turned off to which the other girl responded 'there is 45 mins left to grill!' I asked for american cheese and mayo and hots. Then i went to get a few items in the store and heard a man get in line and order a bacon burger. Hope his experience went smoother. Later on I get my sub and the paper its rolled in is tucked in the cheese and impossible to separate without tearing into pieces in my sandwich. Then the bread is Rock HARD and inedible, thats with it still being soggy from my 45 minute ride before i tried to eat it. There is no mayo and no hots in the sub. Clearly the lady who made my sub hates her duties at work and hated me for having her use the grill but you ARENT FORCED TO WORK THERE! Find something else and stop being so miserable. Im not eating this sandwich because if she was willing to give me the stalest of stale sub rolls and skip my requests i wouldnt be surprised if she put a booger in it too. Gross!!

Typically they have provided coffee and soda deliveries to local businesses, but most recently I've discovered that they have a store front specializing in the sale of K-Cups for Keurig home brewers. What a great idea! This store, although small, packs in an impressive array of K-Cups for shoppers to buy individually ($0.55 each as of 2/2010), in a 24-ct box ($11.45 each as of $2/2010), or a case of 4 24-ct. boxes ($45.50 as of 2/2010). They have a relatively good sampling of coffees from Green Mountain, Emeril's, Timothy's, Gloria Jeans, Coffee People, Tully's and a host of teas. They have boxes already open for you to grab individual K-Cups so you can try something before you buy it. The staff is exceptionally helpful and there to answer any questions you may have or provide some recommendations if you like. You can also brew a cup right in their storefront so you know immediately whether you like something or not. I highly recommend them!

The new Hooksett Wal-Mart is now a Supercenter located across the river on Route 3A. Ocean State Job Lot specializes in selling overstocked and close-out merchandise at very low discounted prices including housewares, baking/kitchen items, outdoor items, apparel, toys, electronics, sundries, hardware, furniture, Oriental rugs, office/school supplies, books, cards, pet supplies, decorations, seasonal items, a pretty good selection of non-perishable groceries, and more. This store is pretty organized compared to other discount stores (ie. Big Lots) I've shopped at and I can move around this store without tripping over things. I've shopped here several times since the store opened and on each visit the some of the selection keeps changing with high turnover. Earlier this year, they had Crocs for under $10 and For Dummies books for $3.99, great prices, but no longer in stock on my last visit. In the food section, there were plenty of pastas, sauces, can goods, cereals, oils, nuts, snacks, boxed foods, preserves, and bottled drinks. I got some Gnocchi for $1.25 each and marinara sauce for $1.50 each and some mixed nuts for $2.50. I do shop around and found some of the prices for similar items were cheaper than Wal-Mart, and many of the smaller items (school supplies) I can get for less at Dollar Tree. The food prices are a real bargain here compared to Shaw's across the lot. Recently, I was heading to a meeting, but I realized did not have a tie and a nice belt. So I decided to pull into Ocean State Job Lot and I picked up a men's belt for $5 and tie for $4.99, in and out! This store saved the day!

How is that allowed without my permission? I'm honestly pissed. It is not this person's business how much I have been paying for my medicine every week and it is very upsetting that whoever was working today would just print out a copy and hand her my information! You had NO right to do this and have no idea how much this family member causes problems in my life. She probably went there pretending to try to buy it for me just so she could find out information I purposely refuse to give her, she does it all so she can intentionally make my life a living hell. Now that she saw the difference in the prices I have had to pay over the last couple weeks, she is trying to act like I am not taking my medication properly, which is ridiculous. It's simply just my stupid insurance randomly paying different amounts and has nothing to do with me taking my medication correctly. Like I stated before, she is crazy and I do not appreciate this unnecessary crap! I am so disgusted right now with this place and feel like my privacy has been violated. Located on the corner of Hooksett Rd & Clough Ave, this Rite Aid store is similar to Walgreen's, except an older building here, which offers a pharmacy counter (with drive-thru), photo lab, and a good variety of food, drinks, and merchandise too. They carry plenty of candy, snack foods, small grocery, frozen foods, soda, beer, cosmetics, first aid supplies, OTC medicines, baby supplies, health & beauty supplies, pet stuff, magazines, holiday decorations, cards, gifts, batteries, household goods, and more. With the Wellness + Card, they offer some great buy one get one free deals including on the candy bars, snacks, ice cream and vitamins. On my last visit to Rite Aid, I got a bag of chips for only 61 cents and two big tubes of ointment for $9.99 with the card and bonus savings tacked on. This place is usually not very busy when I shop here and I'm in and out quickly.
