Food came up in a reasonable time & everything was great, ESPECIALLY the sandwich the hubs got. Hands down the beat dish we had on this trip. Prices weren't terrible - especially given the serving sizes and options. Drinks were filled quickly, as were plates. A very solid stop with some intriguing art.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheddar cheese, on a biscuit with loaded hash browns and was impressed. The biscuit was browned on the outside but so light and fluffy when I bit into it. The cheddar cheese was good, thick-cut cheddar that was stringy and the sausage was nothing to scoff at, it was a big cut of meat and really flavorful. You can't go wrong with the loaded hash either. It was crispy and topped with that same thick cut cheddar and had fresh veggies on it that were crisp and clearly not frozen. Oh, and they serve mimosas! This place gets an A ++ from me.

Talk about considerate. I've never had walleye with sauerkraut but as a Walleye Reuben all the elements of a proper Reuben mesh together. Generous serving with thousand island dressing slightly dripping out. Re-tingles my appetite now just writing about it. Sandwiches come with a selection of sides. There are many choices of sides. Quick count 24 sides, I settled for the garlic toast. Super friendly service, got our drinks quickly and food arrived a little later, but not delayed. They sent enough help to cover our crew as well. The Pretzel Nuggets with Cheese could have been dinner for me, they were that good. Other apps were equally as good. I had the Fish Fry which was very good. Nice coating that wasn't too heavy. It appeared everyone was happy with their selection. I had my first tap Yuengling. Nice and cold and quite good. The atmosphere was pleasant and you could even carry on a conversation and it was the end of Happy Hour. The owner even was helping bus tables and was great to talk with.

The patio is great as it it's covered and if it's a cool evening they have heaters in the ceiling. Food I've tried. Banh Mi was tasty, the pickled onion and carrot went great with the meat. Signature burger was excellent. The pepper jelly + Bleu cheese is a good combo, as the jelly keeps the cheese from being overpowered, and I love that they use arugula and not lettuce. Osso Bucco, the pork shank was done perfectly. The risotto was a tad rich for me. Lobster corn dogs were a great appetizer. Came with a grilled half lemon, arugula, and tarragon creme. The creme is a bit like a tartar sauce, but a better flavor. You get 3 small corn dogs. I loved that they actually give you enough lemon. Had enough for all three pieces and the arugula. They have a decent selection of tap beers and they also had a $5 rum punch that was refreshing on a warm day. So if you are reading reviews in mid 2025 or later, you might want to sort by new as they have changed things up.

The lemonade basically just tasted like sour water. For a starter, I got the chicken and wild rice soup. It was horrible in texture and flavor. There was absolutely no seasoning at all and had a texture of mush you would get in a stereotypical prison camp. For the main course, I got the roast turkey with mashed potatoes and my partner got the patty melt with fries. The roast turkey was absolutely horrible in how it looked and just had no flavor at all. The patty melt was "alright." This place needs to learn that it is 2026 and that there is something called salt and pepper that you actually put on food. I'm not that surprised though since the diners consisted of old people.

The one waitress that was working mentioned that they only had 3 left of the special for that night at 5:30pm. Really didn't understand why so little when very few customers. Husband ordered walleye and I ordered the panko Parmesan cod. With an app of cheese curds. The cheese curds were very oily so not off to good start. My cod was very dried out and seeing that there was melted butter on my plate is the only thing that helped to choke down the few bites I had. My baked potato was very dry as well and nothing, not even the butter and sour cream could help it. I didn't even try the vegetables as they didn't look appetizing. My husband said his walleye wasn't very good either. The appearance of the restaurant was ok, but when we first got there husband had to us bathroom and said the toilet seat had crap smeared on the set and on the floor. He pulled the waitress aside and let her know of the condition and came to the table I was sat at. When we were finished eating 45-1:00 later, he went to blow his nose and nope the bathroom was still a mess. Would I recommend this restaurant to anyone? No, it was all around a bad experience and we are folks that like to give non chain restaurants a chance.
