Good location with good employees but the lack of outlets here make it below average. I wish there were more so I could work here.

Very friendly service and delicious coffee. They were very helpful and understanding when I needed to make a special order.

As much as I love Caribou coffee and order it regularly online, the espresso I got here was just the worst. The menu said the coffee of the day was a Light Roast, but the actual taste of the coffee was very bitter and burnt, the aftertaste was rotten. There is definitely something wrong with either the roasting machine or the coffee beans. I ended up throwing it away. read more

Caribou coffee has captured the essence of a great coffee. Perfectly roasted coffee- not burned or scorched. But it is the consistency of the staff who are genuinely happy to serve you or give a good suggestion. They take a few moments to make sure you are taken care of. Certain other shops are always looking past you to move you in and out as quickly as they can. Where else would t you have a barista in Duluth Canal Park that notices a glorious sunrise and with a smile calls it to customers and co workers attention. Or a customer representative in Onalaska that highlights a new blend of coffee and why the staff like it so much. How could you not want Reindeer Blend at Christmas. read more

I used to love coming here but past few times the wait has been terrible. Tried one more time. No line inside and one car at the drive through so went inside. Took 25 minutes to get my order while I watched 15 cars go through the drive through and get their food and drinks. Said my drinks were ready and I asked about my food. I used to think this place was pretty good. They had decent service and the drinks were consistent. In the past couple months though, the service has gone down hill. They ask you to wait to order (for what seems like forever) when there's barely any vehicles in front of you. Have people at the register that don't seem to know what to do and ask you to repeat your order several times. Drinks have so much ice that it's a rip off, especially when you're paying $6+ for a drink. Then the kicker is they have this stupid card reader on a stick that you can't even see correctly half the time because the sun is in the way and it asks if you want to leave a tip. Um, no. Not with that crappy service. Not to mention they close even earlier at 6pm now. Not cool. read more

Wow. 32 minutes in the drive thru? I've eaten at caribou drive thrus across MN the past 10 days. NO WHERE has it taken this long. This has to be the most poorly run location I've been to. I would have exited the wait line but you are boxed in at this one. Watching 20, 25, 30 min go by with only a handful of cars in front was very painful. Went through the drive thru today. Spent 35 minutes in line only to receive 2/5 things I ordered to be correct. We ordered two mini turkey bacon sandwiches, a chicken bacon apple sandwich, a caramel high rise and a caramel iced cold brew. We received the caramel iced cold brew and one of the mini turkey bacon sandwiches. The other sandwiches looked like they were sausage and cheddar and turkey and gouda, neither of which we ordered. The second drink had an odd foam to the top of it with no trace of caramel and too much milk. Not sure what this drink was but it was not a caramel high rise. The barista swore while in conversation which is highly unprofessional and we were left highly dissatisfied. read more

I stopped for my first time at this Caribou Coffee. They were extremely slow, over 15 minutes to get a coffee. Then, the charge was higher than was posted on their sign. When I pointed this out, I was first told the sign might not have been updated and then was told I was charged more because I asked for a "mocha with mint" which is keyed as un upcharge from mocha but I should have said "mint condition mocha" had I wanted the price on the board. I suggested that was rude to charge a customer extra for not knowing the exact name of their drinks. I received a smile and was told she had "keyed what you told me". Needless to say, I ended up paying the upcharge to get my coffee and will find an alternative coffee shop next time. read more

Wait is insanely long. Like, I get it's busy. But it shouldn't be taking this long to make a drink. It is sometimes 10 minutes before the drive thru line even moves. I love caribou, but the 40 minute wait is ridiculous. Maybe they are understaffed or something??? read more

Good coffee but service could not be slower. A quick coffee run turns into a 25-30 minute ordeal on multiple occasions.

My review is for this location only. This was the first time I ever stepped foot into a brick and mortar location. I am familiar with their coffee products (which are very good, by the way), however, I did wish they had more non-coffee based beverages to offer. I have to say, I was quite pleased with my overall visit. The sitting area was very spacious with lots of natural light. The atmosphere was relaxing, perfect for a study session, catching up with old friends, or casual business meetings. Like most coffee chains, they do offer free WiFi. Parking is easy and convenient and the staff was very friendly. Great experience, I would gladly return. read more

Usually love this particular place when in town but was shockingly disgusted how the young new worker spoke to me today at the drive through when politely explaining they hadn't got the drink correct that I get here daily, tea bag / hot water / steamed milk, not rocket science! The cup and sleeve were covered in something sticky and I was told "Oh my God it's only water!" when asking if she would mind please putting a second cup around the first. I wouldn't pay her $5 an hour to work for me let alone the $15 an hour they advertise here for worthless stinking attitudes like I experienced here today. Usually cariboo is pretty good. This one was not as good as others ive visited in the past. Double bogey at best. Ordered on the app for pick up so wouldn't have to wait in line. When I got there the line was about 5 people deep. All 5 ordered and received their orders before I did. Obviously they don't take online orders seriously at this place. went here a couple times before work and the iced beverages ordered were tasty. no complaints with their coffee! one time the lobby was closed and they only did drive through which was probably because of the covid mandates, but it also meant the app was not working for mobile orders or anything. there is always a huge line however so calculate in some wait time before your destination. read more

Full disclosure, I am not so much of a coffee girl. That is, unless that coffee is blended with ice and chocolate, then it instantly becomes my jam. So when I first saw Caribou's "Campfire Mocha" Cooler a few years ago, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Seriously. Coffee, chocolate, and mini-marshmallows. Whenever we visit a Caribou region, I practically leap out of the moving car. The iced teas here are not my favorite, but I'll let it pass. Also of note, the people at this particular shop are VERY nice. Love seeing those friendly faces. read more

The coffee is good, and the pastries aren't bad, either. But the architect who designed the place knows nothing about acoustics. It's so loud that concentrating, and sometimes even holding a conversation is impossible. When they run a blender, it's as loud as the average rock concert with the echo in there. Not a good place to meet people or to study. read more

I am a pretty picky person on where I get my coffee. But I have fell in love with their coffee and also their co-workers. Walking in there makes me feel so at home. This is the only Caribou location that consistently never fills the cup fully and never go over 3 quarters of the size. So you're essentially paying for a large and getting a medium a medium for a small and a full rip off on the small. read more

It takes a lot for me to write a review of a chain coffee shop. But the Onalaska Caribou is an exception. The baristas go way above and beyond in terms of service. They are friendly and bring a personal touch. The cold press coffee and the Mint Condition are my faves. read more

I love Starbucks, but when I travel up to Wisconsin, I make a point to drink only Caribou. I love their coffee and I really love the staff! It's always a welcoming environment and not as up tight as Starbucks. This location has an awesome fireplace that I got to enjoy as I drank my coffee and patiently waited for my internet to load on my phone...their WiFi could use some help...other than that...I LOVE LOVE LOVE Caribou and wish we had one in Texas! read more

I really want to like this place and give it more stars, however after coming here almost 5 days a week for a month straight, I cannot. Don't misunderstand me, the products are good and deserve 4-5stars (except the sandwiches) and usually the service is very friendly and efficient. The issues begin with the parking lot, and yes I understand this is out of the control of the management. The parking is limited and during busy times it's difficult to get into and out of the parking area. The coffee shop shares the parking with another business so it parking is a premium. What is under management control is the layout of the creamer and sweeteners. They are placed directly next to the entry (there are two). The primary entrance had the creamer jar next to it. What happens is once you get your coffee you must go back through the line of people and wedge yourself between the line in order to add creamer and/or sweetener. One way to solve this would be to move the creamer jar to the other, less busy entrance. Speaking of creamer jars, it appears that once it goes empty around 0930 they don't refill it but rather force you to use the small creamer packaged tubs. This is the only coffee shop with a major brand that I've seen do that. Another peeve of mine is that they allow the dark roast to run out after 0930. I was told that they don't make it that late in the morning and will do light roast only after it runs out late morning; strange. Another example of a peeve is being told that my specialty drink will be reduced in price because I'm a perks member yet being charged full price. This happened at least twice that I'm aware of. This place is busy and the staff works hard, but I think it could be better. If there was an alternative other than the small Starbucks close by, I'd go there. As it is, I'll deal with the minor peeves and drink some really good coffee. read more

I love this place. The coffee is way better than starbucks, their lattes and mochas are much more flavorful, and the staff is super nice. It's also a nice place to take your laptop to study, their wifi has always been free. The only thing I wish, is that they had more locations in the state. read more
