Liked the fact there was no tv. Nobody was on their phone. Everyone just talked and enjoyed the company. I was just passing through but the friendly group made me feel like a local. Got introduced to a new cigar that was suggested by the brother of the owner ( can't remember his name, gotta use a name three times in a sentence) this cigar just might end up being my new favorite. Got an hour out of the cigar in good company.

Now I am a 30 year black cold brew snob and love going to a different independent coffee house to try its unique flavor as everyone does it slightly different. After my dang, I should have just tried another location in town, but she asked if I would like to purchase a nitro instead which they had in tap. I reluctantly ordered it just to keep the line moving and also a scone which was very tasty and inexpensive at $2.00. I took one sip of the nitro and crushed the scone. I sat in the coffee shop for an hour getting some work completed and it looked like a steady flow of customers. Standard coffee shop fare, plus you can order from the nearby bar for appetizers. They carry Kickapoo Coffee and pasties from local Cowboy David's Bake Shoppe. Both are excellent! When you stay at The Charmant the guest room comes with 2 free tokens for a coffee drink at The Parlour. It's a lovely place to relax. Service is outstanding!
