I tend to prefer places that make some of their own syrups, etc. and from what I can tell, Grounded doesn't really do much from scratch, which is fine, just not my preference. Their drinks are usually good. I was kind of disappointed to see their even their seasonal specialty drink was not a homemade syrup. My biggest complaint is their cold brew is super weak/too watered down. Service is usually okay, cleanliness is usually okay as well. I do love their expanded hours, so we do stop here when others are closed.

This place had a very inviting vibe and an old-fashioned/antique style interior decor. The building itself is old, so it was nice to see they kept some character. I was pleasantly surprised that they offered London Fog which is one of my favorite hot beverages of choice. I opted for the lavender sweetener, with almond milk, and it was perfect for that rainy morning. Not too sweet with a kiss of lavender in the background.
