They are unbelievably efficient, especially given the small space of the building and of the lot. I pulled up to the line twice during my week of work in lacrosse. On both occasions, there was someone standing outside with an iPad taking orders. I also noticed that several of the baristas came out of the back door to deliver drinks to people waiting in line in their cars. They also have a walk up window at the sidewalk. I was amazed each time how quickly I got through the line. The coffee is outstanding. I've tried both cold brew and lattes, and they've been excellent. I also love that they put a little sticker on top of the lid to prevent spillage. It's a nice touch.

I think that this was just an off day and I wish they would have said they didn't know what a dirty chai was instead of dumping more chai tea concentrate in the drink to make up for the lack of espresso in it. Also the drinks didn't have coconut milk! I am lactose intolerant, thankfully I only had a sip! I personally wouldn't come back but just wanted to let other customers know that you should be very specific and ask the employee to read back the order just incase. Cute little drive-thru though.

I imagine this is a secondary form of communicating with their South African Zulu-speaking Kudu cousins. I'm uncertain if Caribou employees are required to learn grunting or clicking as part of their barista mastery as I've only ever spoken to them in English, but my orders here have never been lost in translation. The coffee is rich and smooth, and lacks the high acidity of Starbucks (though I add in my own bitterness if my visit is before 9am #nightowlsunite). I'm sure most coffee drinkers in Winona would justifiably rate Mugby as having the best coffee in town, but Caribou is a solid backup when you get a wild hair for caffeine. Caribou sits in a very convenient location, right off the highway as you enter Winona, a great option when there's no time to migrate across town for your Mugby fix. It was pouring rain outside today with it being the 4th of July, but that didn't stop me from wanting to try Scooter's Coffee! I kept thinking about this place after I saw it yesterday, and couldn't wait any longer, and if you can get me out in the rain, than you know I was really interested! It's a bit of a jaunt from where we live, so I'm not sure with how gas prices are today if we would make it there as often as we do Dunkin's since it's literally around the corner from us. I ordered a large Cold Brew Coffee, and my husband wanted his usual straight up black coffee. The employees were really friendly at from the beginning of telling them I had an order, to getting my order at the window. The building is really nice on the outside, and someday it would be nice to go in and check it out. You will see pictures of it before I added my own sugar free creamer, which is white chocolate mocha! I did have them add sugar free vanilla to my coffee. I must say, the coffee is really good! I like it better than Dunkin's...shhhhh.. don't tell them! It just has a really good earthy amazing roasting taste to it that I can't describe. My husband "was" a diehard Dunkin's guy, but he loves his coffee from Scooter's so much that he has me looking up to see if they have beans or coffee grounds to make at home, lol.. I will say however, the price is kinda steep for what you get. I will have a comparison photo between a large Dunkin's and Scooter's so you can see how much bigger Dunkin's large is then Scooter's. I don't like that it is higher at Scooter's and not close to the same size you would get at Dunkin's and it's cheaper...bummer! The Scooter's app is really easy to use and is a really sleek design, so bravo to whoever designed it! I will say, have nutritional facts for all of your items and not just the blenders. If you have them, it can't be easily seen. Also, I wasn't aware of the rewards program "Smiles" that you have and the girl at the window didn't tell me about it. For promotional purposes and being a new store, this needs to be mentioned so people are aware! Overall, I love this coffee and of course we definitely will add it to our arsenal of coffee indulgences! My mom is visiting from Indiana and we literally just talked about how she loves this mango drink she gets where she lives, but doesn't like the creamy smoothies, but I told her usually non creamy is more of a slushes or iced drink. Low and behold, when I looked at the Scooter's app, there is a Fruit n Ice category, and mango is one of the flavors! She's excited now after I told her I'd take her there to try it out, lol! Service was quick. The summer rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce although a bit different still savory. Never had pork skins in my pho and I loved the texture and flavor it provided. The broth was flavorful, I loved the assortment of sauces they had available for you to add. It was also a clean location. I need to come back and have a Banh Mi.
