Quick review of the Caribou Coffee in the Canal Park area. Pretty standard coffee shop visit. I was in and out very quickly. The staff were friendly and made amazing drinks. Inside is cozy and has plenty of seating if you need to stay in to warm up, or hang out and do some work on your computer. read more

So from my perspective this is a boring old Caribou with a decent bathroom. But I've been here twice during the Covid Times and neither time did I get bad service and I had to stand and wait FOREVER bc there was only one bathroom in service and I have three kids and we all needed to pee. Busy place with hopping employees who still have their smiles and are polite and service oriented. They hand brewed me my decaf. The woman making the fancy drinks noticed me waiting and asked what I was waiting for to make sure it was wasn't her. Visited area and as we left out on a road trip stopped in for a coffee. Greeted and right away I was shocked by wonderful smells. Lady greeted me and explained the process. She did not shame me for not knowing the correct wording. All I wanted was a large cup of coffee. She walked me through process. She helped my wife order a Apple Burst. We waited at end of line for only about 4 minutes. I added my own creamer and sweetener as I prefer. Very nice place well staffed and everyone was friendly. Good coffee, bad service. I'm a restaurant host, and 18 years old, and even in my very little experience I would never talk to customers how I was talked to here. I'm happy to provide the name of who it was, but my father and I were served by an incredibly rude barista. Once again, I understand bad days and whatnot as someone in the service industry, but this was very uncalled for and out of nowhere. Not to mention this place looks like it has never been cleaned. There's dust being blown onto the tables from the vents and it looks like a serious fire hazard, and garbage all over the floors. I'm a caribou fan, but much prefer the kind employees and ambiance of the London road or central entrance caribou. read more

VERY heavily used Caribou in Canal Park. Not much other coffeeshop competition in the area. Parking can be at a premium, but it's nice they have a lot (albeit relatively small). Wifi strength is normal; not too many tables there so there won't be that many people competing for it's signal. Get your drink to go and meander around Canal Park. read more

I work in the food industry and this is just about the worst service I have ever received. Waiting in line for the bathroom and the girls question us on when we are leaving. Have a mask on in line for bathroom still which is about 10 feet away from workers and pull it down for a second to blow my nose and pull it back up. As I pull it back up I get yelled at to put my mask up quicker. Was going to order drinks but they were too busy in there conversation talking about the quests that had just left very rudely and loud. Then she looks over at us and says again what are you even waiting here for so we didn't even end up ordering. Very disappointed. read more

Beautiful Caribou store, good service, and an excellent spot to study. The interior is gorgeous, and they have a cute little loft upstairs. There's usually plenty of seating, so you should be able to open your laptop and spread out a bit. Or, if you're in town for vacation, this is a good spot to stop for an iced latte or a hot mocha after your walk along Lake Superior. I've never been disappointed by the service here. The baristas are usually very friendly and quick at getting my order to me. read more

What more can I say about this place that I haven't said about other Caribou Coffee Houses?I guess I am going to keep this review short and sweet tonight/ The service is always good at this particular location. The drinks do taste like they always put extra effort into it. I am currently in the process of trying to cut many many calories out of my diet but felt like dropping in for a late night hot chocolate the other night. I told the barista at the counter and he recommended a child size portion which would fulfill my craving for hot chocolate but had drastically less calories. It hit the spot and was a good recommendation. This place also has some nice loft style seating upstairs which is the perfect place to go and unwind at the end of the day. It was a great way to end a date by the lake. :D read more

Oh Caribou I wish you had shops in Fort Worth. I have really grown to like the nutty, rich, and flavorful coffee from Caribou. This particular location is in Canal Park and is quite busy with tourists. Lots of tables both inside and outside and of course free wifi for getting a little work done! I ordered a simple drip and they happily accommodated my request for adding heavy cream - it was perfect! They have an upstairs area that I didn't see until I was ready to leave, but I wonder if it's a bit quieter upstairs. I will be sure to check it out in a future visit! read more

I think Caribou fits in perfectly w/ Canal Park: fakey Minnesota tourist trap. None the less, this Caribou was fine. Friendly fast service, you can tell they deal w/ long lines often. My drink was just OK but what more can you expect from a coffee chain, let alone Caribou? Like most other reviewers mention, Caribou Coffee is pretty easy to locate, and where I'm from, they are everywhere. But whether it be the location, the design (they have two stories!) or whatnot, this place is frequented EVERY TIME I'm in Duluth! Last time I was here, I got perhaps the best white chocolate mocha in recent memory. I don't drink coffee; rather, I prefer coffee-flavored beverages, and I can't remember ever being disappointed. Caribou is by far my favorite of the coffee chains and always has been. I make it a point in my travels to search out different and unique coffee shops (and I have been to a lot) and Caribou gets it right in almost every respect. Mostly I enjoy just a good black coffee with nothing added but once in awhile I will treat myself to a mocha and Caribou makes an amazing mocha. I recommend the turtle mocha if you have never had one before and you can customize it with your choice of chocolate, dark, milk, or white, I prefer milk chocolate. But there's something about this particular location that I feel like I have to stop in every time I'm in Duluth. I mean, in reality, it's no different than the Caribou 1 mile from my house. I usually enjoy this coffee spot, have been here a few times. Today , 5:30 pm, (9/14/19) was not a good day. There was probably 15 customers waiting on coffee. Only 2 people working. Waited 35 minutes for 2 cups of coffee. The person who took my order did not say hello, took my order & said " you can get your coffee at the end". No thank you. Horrible customer service. The bathroom was dirty also. A huge disappointment! I will not be back to this location. It may not matter to anyone who cares, but you just lost a customer!!! read more

I don't get Caribou Coffee in California (except for a couple of varieties of beans at random grocery stores), so when I'm in Duluth, I go DAILY. For me, as a person who gets coffee with cream and sugar, and nothing else, it's AWESOME! I love trying the trivia. If you get the question right, you get a discount, how awesome! I spent three nights in Duluth this past November and could be found here a lot of the time, as it was a short walk from my Canal Park hotel. This place has the all the requisite Starbucks imitator boxes checked: Great coffee drinks made from quality beans; Fresh, tasty and reasonably priced sweets, and fast, free WiFi. Most importantly, the place has spacious and comfortable seating which encourages hanging out, reading, or making new acquaintances. I enjoyed my time spent here. read more

Huge caribou with lots of seating, often crowded, but you can usually get a seat. Ive used this place many times to meet business clients. There's some outdoor seating and a loft and free parking. If you're lucky enough to be in canal park in the off season it's really nice in winter. Not crowded with nice views of the snow. read more
