My friend and I both ordered the shrimp and grits and they were overly good. I've never had shrimp and grits with an Alfredo-style sauce, but now I get it... I don't want it any other way. The service was just as good as the food. Our waitresses were super kind and friendly. We were seated outside on such a beautiful day but they didn't forget us. They stayed attentive and that made the whole experience even better. My only gripe was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte. The flavor was there, but having actual cereal in the drink wasn't my favorite once it got soggy. The texture through the straw was a little off. I think a cinnamon sugar version would've been perfect instead. But honestly, that's minor. I would definitely go back again and again and again. Such a gem!

The matchas were good, they tasted like hot chocolate lowkey, but it was made well, no complaints. The biscuits were really good! I like that you can tell it's freshly prepared: the filet was tender, and crispy. The biscuit fresh and the honey blended well with everything. The eggs were runny, the my were crispy and airy. I don't have any pics, but we'll definitely go back again!!

I visited on a weekday afternoon and even before 10am, there were other guests buzzing around this little coffee shop. Bolivar is located within a grocery shopping plaza, meaning they have tons of parking which is always great in ATL. The coffee shop itself is so beautiful! The decor, plants and art all channel Colombia, all by way of Atlanta. There were a few tables inside and outside, allowing space for those there to work, chat and lounge if desired. It was really easy for me to find a comfy seat next to an outlet to settle at for a few hours. I started with a hot latte and a Pastel conquistador and was so pleased by both. I didn't even realize that I had sped through my first cup of coffee before I was onto the next. The ladies behind the counter were helpful in sharing their favorites as I decided on my next orders across my 5 hour visit. Each order was better than the last. If you've been putting off a visit, don't wait any longer!

A little on the small side with minimal seating, but they also have some patio seating at the front. However, I do believe they just opened a new location in Marietta in a much larger space. Service: No complaints about the service. Despite the busyness, I didn't stand in line for anymore than 5 - 7 minutes and probably waited less than 10 minutes for my order. Pricing: Pricing was very reasonable, with drink pricing ranging from about $4 - $8. From what I could see for food options, prices were all under $15. Food/Drinks: Regrettably, I skipped the food this time and only tried an iced matcha. They had a summer version called the Tropi Coco, which combined toasted coconut, coconut milk, and coffee or matcha. However, I don't think the Matcha version included toasted coconut, at least not the one I tried. Unfortunately, the drink didn't quite hit the mark for me. I mostly tasted coconut milk, with some Matcha flavor, but the flavors didn't blend well. Perhaps it was a matter of the ratio. My sister ordered the same drink and experienced the same issue, although hers seemed to have even less Matcha than mine. While I'm not sure I'd get the Matcha again, I'm still open to trying some other menu items. The empanadas and tasty looking Colombian treats were calling my name, so I'd like to go back and give them a try! I'd imagine if you're a coffee lover you'd want to give their Colombian coffee a try though!

But once you find it, you'll be a fan. It's a small place with only 3-4 bar seats, but there's a bunch of outdoor patio seating if you're looking to enjoy your order al fresco. The menu includes some great options, whether you're looking for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. After a workout in the EpiFit center I decided to grab some coffee before starting my workday. I was really surprised by the seasonal options available and decided to indulge in the caramel apple macchiato. I feel so bad that I can't think of her name, but there's a young lady who works at the counter and she is SO sweet, so patient. She made my coffee and put her heart into that bad boy! It was delicious! I also grabbed a breakfast burrito and omg. First, it was hugeeee and packed with eggs, sausage, cheese and veggies and paired with a homemade pico. Incredible way to start my day. (Admittedly, a nap was actually on my mind). On my second visit I got the fried fish after seeing the sign too many times and missing out. It was freshly fried and hot, yum. I'm trying the rice bowl next!
