I was about to spend some serious cash here until I read all the terrible reviews. I was in the area and with a 2 star average I decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

Rush, I give you 4 stars, simply for these facts alone: 1. It's a clean, spacious, and most importantly, friendly environment. 2. Free Tournaments. FREE. Sure you don't get an Astral pack, or some other incentive, but you are guaranteed a CHANCE to win a prize. Just last summer, Card Rush gave away thee best prizes for free tournies that I have seen in a long time. Ipads, 360's, PS3's, booster boxes. 3. Great staff, some of them aren't that knowledgeable about cards, but I don't mind. We all have to learn. Now, in reality, I really should only give you 3 stars, because you have pretty bad and obvious flaws. 1. No trading? I heard about this and immediately was disgusted. I get the tactic, make it so tournies are free, people come to play, but they can't trade, so they have to trade or buy from the store. Not to mention you make money off of selling concessions, sleeves/mats, etc. it really is a good idea. But honestly, at the same time, this is a trading card game. Trading. Card. Game. You're taking a core part of the game out here, not to mention you're forcing your patrons to go trade on the streets. Which is what they'll do if they really need certain cards for cheaper than your own listing price. 2. Overpriced cards. I'm not going to go into depth here, people have already explicitly stated their say on this. I'm not sure if you price your cards a couple dollars higher to make up for tourney entries or some other reason, but your average duelist, not customer, wouldn't even look twice at some of these prices. All in all, I still stick you with a 4star since I attended a bunch of summer tournies and had fun at every single one, for free. read more

Probaly a good place to come and play with others. Terrible terrible customer service. They dont even have a person standing in front most of the time. Prices are whatevers. You have to expect this from a card shop. But they could really work on their service. Should i expect an employee to not at the very least greet me when I walk in? Pretty frustrating experience. read more

Been here twice and receive the same vibe they don't want me there. First time I got a few packs asked if theres a list of cards I want they then went in the back and said I can choose from the given packs feel like they weigh their packs. Second time asked to write a list of what I'm looking for. Both times employees just sitting around a table opening MTG packs like they are looking for rare cards. Shop is 80% full of boxes of cards that aren't for sale, just sitting there all common cards. read more

Place is dead. Everything is much more expensive and it shows cuz I've seen the same exact items here that I saw 8 years ago xD. There was noone in the front of the store when I walked in and when this lady that worked in the back made eye contact with me, she turned away. This dude that came to the front ignored me and started hauling boxes to the back. It was so dark and quiet, felt like I was in the Conjuring :// read more

I think they sell resealed magic packs. I bought 3 boxes (the boxes are not factory sealed) and didn't pull any cards worth any value. Also, no good commons. read more

This is the most disgusting store I've ever walked into. When I initially looked through their doors, I thought the store was abandoned. When I walked in no one bothered to help me, and there was little to no space to walk since they had boxes of cards everywhere. The associates for some reason stare at their customers like they don't want them in the store and have no intent to help customers out. The bathroom looked like an ebola incubation room. They do have a huge selection of cards, but the price is almost triple the normal retail price. I would highly recommend not wasting your time at Card Rush. read more

The reason why I give it this score is because they give expensive prices on their cards. They don't go off of TCG player they go off their own prices which is pretty stupid. I wanted to sell a Pokémon card that was 60$ at the time because it was NEAR MINT. I was looking for singles in my yugioh deck and asking for some cards and they talk to you in a way where it seems they don't want to be serving you. But I didn't buy anything because of the extraordinary prices. I say don't come here you will save your time. read more

I just went over to see if they wanted to buy some cards that I had when I was a kid. And the moment I walk in every single employee from the front desk were incredibly RUDE. I said my name and offered my hand to one that was helping me, after I had to SEEK for help, and IGNORED me and just stood there. I will NEVER go back And I would not recommend any one to go. I regret ever doing business with them. read more

Years back, maybe 2014, I come to card rush with my friend almost everyday. There was yugioh tournaments, lots of players, & a sense of community. However that has been crashing down since then and the store is essentially a claustrophobic mess of a warehouse. I made friends there, one of them still friends even to this day, but people left and the store was filled to the brim with untouched boxes full of cards which leaves barely enough space to walk through just to reach the counter. The workers/managers at the counter were always rude and arrogant to their customers, including children. I knew the place was a scam but it was the only place to find a local yugioh community in a reasonable walking distance. I left and never returned again as a repeating customer since 2017, I check the store once in awhile not to get cards but just to see how the store itself is doing. I read the reviews on yelp and I whole heartedly agree and can verify most of the issues people have with card rush. Anyways Ima cut things off here cus I have much to say, overall I just want this place to succeed cus I want a thriving community or a sense of one again locally. read more

The coolest place ever! The employees are always so knowledgeable and super cool... I would recommend checking this place out.. They have so much cool stuff it's almost overwhelming all the amazing stuff they have. I always love stopping in here for a visit read more

Over priced cards, rude people, and employees are also rude. I use to go there a few times, but I don't go anymore, because of the people there. I don't feel safe there. Unlike card shops like TCGenration where I feel I am around good people. read more

Very over priced on there cards they don't pay anything on cards offered me 3 dollars on a 25 dollar card tryed to sell me a full art N for 60 when I can order it on ebay for 20 and they don't allow trading in there store what's thy about no point to go down there if you can't even trade read more

Weird vibe from the guys sometimes. Tried to rip me off hard last time and I'm pretty sure they weigh their loose booster packs. Use this place as a last resort. read more

This place's tournaments are pretty good, but the only downfall is that the cards are a little over priced.

Dark creepy vide when entered. Didn't feel like me and my friends show be there. So we just left after looking around.

Walked in and the store was full of open boxes, many of which were full of opened Pokémon cards. There were no signs to say these were not ok to look through. One employee came over and told me I was not allowed to look through these and if I wanted to purchase singles, he would go to the back and "quote a price". It baffles me that there were thousands of cards just laying out that customers aren't allowed to look at, but the ones customers can purchase are kept in the back. I will not be visiting here again. read more

Went to check this place out. Guy behind the counter knew almost nothing about the cards and kept having to run to the back to price stuff. Everything was also extremely overpriced, at least $10 over the average. Asked about a pack of Unhinged for fun and got quoted $30 a pack. You can go anywhere else and get them for like $15. Even starcity, who is generally on the higher end of prices was $12. I'd be surprised if they stay in business with those prices. read more

I come here sometimes as last resort but wow.. This place doesn't care about there customers at all. Unless I come here with my girlfriend they don't pay any attention. read more

Came here to check out their Pokemon card section since my son is into collecting them and they do have a huge selection of different packs and booster boxes but some of the common ones are a bit overpriced. Their bathroom smells and looks as tho it has never been cleaned before pee all over the floor and seat. read more

Just went in for some Pokémon roaring skies packs! They sell them for an amazing price! Cool environment and I was helped instantly by a really nice employee! read more

had purchased with debit a while ago without being ID checked, but was met this time an employee who was keen on having my id (which I didn't have), so I had to have my friend pay while I venmo'd him. on top of that there's tax versus none at kingslayer. the employees also give me bad vibes from their stares as if almost unwelcoming. read more

I'll make this short and simple - Overpriced cards - Service ain't great - Can't trade so you are forced to buy - Selling cards here they will rip you off. You can sell an expensive card and not even get 30% of its original price. - Banned for trading. Selling I would understand but trading bs. We shouldn't name the games TRADING card games if you aren't not allowed to trade. I recommend going to other places for cards and tourney. Tourney is free but prizes aren't great. read more

Decided to give them another chance, but I was wrong, got nother worker who gave me theSame vibe as guy with the man bun, they don't allow people to trade cards...horrible prices, vibes, customer service, etc! read more

This is my favorite card shop to go to. I always end up buying something everytime I go here (I come here pretty often). The workers are so appreciative, kind, and helpful! I usually spend a lot of money on Yu-Gi-Oh! cards here and they always provide a little something extra with the purchase! They usually have all of the cards I need at market price (sometimes even cheaper, sometimes more expensive) and I always end up buying them. Card Rush is the one store that I will always be coming to every time I feel the need to improve my current decks. read more

I'm not sure about anyone else's reviews, but this place falls nothin short of spectacular. From plush toys to Yugioh to Magic to Arcade games, this place is the emporium of it all. First of all, it's not too hard to find due to it's huge sign with the name of the store on it. The store might not be in a popular area but once you get inside, the place is massive. So many things fill the walls and glass displays. They have almost all the structure decks in the game of Yugioh, and their singles collection is amazing. And even if you don't stop by for any cards, their accessories selection is crazy good as well. That's mainly due to the fact they have their own online store. Now, on to the service. You will be greeted upon your arrival (unless they are in the back shipping and packing their online orders) The best thing to do is prepare a list beforehand and give it to them, and they will calculate their prices for each card and give you a total. This is by far the fastest way to shop here. The customer service is fairly good and they are nice and helpful. Now regarding the prices, they are decent and pretty much are the prices you find online. Although i visited on a weekday, i saw that they have tournaments on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. According to other reviews these tourneys have good showings. This place is awesome and i totally recommend it to anyone who is in need of anything TCG related. read more

I stop by Card Rush whenever I need cards in a hurry. I can honestly say they've never been out of stock on a card I've wanted and this store has been instrumental in me getting back into Yugioh. I hope I spell their names right, but Michael and Hailey are always so helpful and willing to help me whenever I come by. Thank you. read more

I don't see what's with the terrible reviews. this is a great place and Kit is one of the coolest guys I've ever had the pleasure of meeting at a card shop. I've yet to play in a tournament but free tournaments? come on. Prices are on the border of okay and overpriced but there's always wiggle room. They gotta make money but not trying to rip you off. Great place. Heading there today haha read more

I like this place, but there are some things they could do better. The store is a mess with stacks of boxes everywhere. There are some tables inside, but most of the time they are being used by employees to sort cards from the stacks of boxes around the store. If the store was more organized and there were more tables, I'm sure there would be more customers and small tournaments could be hosted. The employees could also be a little bit more friendly. Overall it's a decent store with good prices, but it could be a lot better. read more

The employees are great . Some of the cards they sell are slightly over-priced under the guys of hard to find, or old, but they will be in great condition it that can sway you in a bit. Not the first place you should go but a nice stop inbetween. read more

Very cool store and very nostalgic for a old school yugioh player as myself with the amount of collections they have for yugioh. Decided to come check out the store yesterday. If you want to find old stuff from the first two generations of yugioh then go here, be warned though that these guys have ridiculous prices compared to other card stores. I decided to drive 30 miles from my home to check out the store after finding them off of eBay and buying a boaster box from them. However this isn't about their online store. What really got me was certain products that they had on their eBay store we're being sold for almost $60 more in store.. Now I understand that they probably make most of their income from their eBay buyers but I think of the amount of people that have probably been ripped off from buying from the store. But don't let this review stop you from checking it out. If you have a couple hundred dollars to blow go check this place out and support them.. just make sure to check their eBay store first and compare the online prices to their Instore prices.. the difference will shock you. And one last note : Yes I did buy a special edition yugioh box from the store when I went yesterday. Not trying to put down the store in anyway, just find the pricing to be a little stingy. read more

It's a cool place to play and learn as you go. Play for fun here. All the staff is genuinely nice.

I am a player that just got into magic the gathering again. I have had two very different experiences when it come to deck building. Card Rush made sure that I would never visit them again. They overpriced on all their singles. I walked in prepared to spend over $60 on singles since Battle City Games was closed at the time. Big mistake. First of all none of the single cards show a price. You have to ask them and they make up a number. I know what the average market price is because we all have access to tcgplayer.com. They try to rip you off every single dollar they can. Battle city games have their single cards prices listed on the cards and they are generally in line or even less than the average price. I ask about the xenagos the reveler they wanted $20. Average price $16. Xenagos god of revel they wanted $7 average price $4. I just walked out after asking for those two prices. I will just wait for Battle City Games to open next time. They have way better prices and I enjoy spend money at battle city games. read more

Place is a decorative with a wide selection of products. The pricing, on the other hand, is a nightmare. Every time I come in to make a purchase, particularly singles, the owners try to cheat you for every penny possible. They will always assume you have zero knowledge on the matter. If you do have solid knowledge, the owners would instruct the hourly employees to scam you in their place so that they won't be confronted. When pricing cards, they scour the internet for sites that would hold the highest price and label that as the actual value of the card, despite what tcgplayer or any other more reputable sites say otherwise. They have strayed far far far from their original mission during their early days as a small card shop. Former employees have told me that they do do some kind of booster box mapping to optimize profits per box. You are less likely to pull anything of worth from their packs. Purchase with great caution. When you try to sell, they will only glance at the cards and when they see something of worth, down play it and say it's worth nothing to trick you into selling it to them for 10-20 bucks. I brought in several hundred dollar singles to test this and each time, particularly the big bald guy, will say it's worth nothing to get you to sell all of it for 10-15 bucks store credit. Kids should be very careful when selling their collections here. Parents beware!!! Wal Mart treats customers far better. read more

Came here today to pick up some Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for my new deck. The employees here are really nice, friendly, and patient. The cards here are a bit more expensive than the ones online but not by much; maybe 50 cents or a dollar more. However, you are guaranteed to get legit mint condition cards. I have ordered Yu-Gi-Oh cards online before, and they came in good-ok condition with a few scratches or so on the face of the card, not mint. Some cards were even damaged (bent corner etc.), but I am too lazy to go through the returning process and stuff. They also have free tournaments on Thursday-Saturday! Overall, a well deserved 5 stars for me. read more
